I’ve had a positive experience at Solhaus in Minnesota, and would give it 4 out of 5 stars. The community here is friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home. The location is fantastic—close to restaurants, shops, and the University of Minnesota, which adds a lot of convenience. Maintenance has been a standout aspect; they respond very quickly to requests and handle repairs efficiently, which is a huge plus. The apartments themselves are modern and well-maintained, with spacious layouts and a good range of amenities. While there are occasional noise levels from nearby streets, it’s nothing major and is to be expected given the central location. Overall, Solhaus is a solid choice for anyone looking to live in a lively, well-maintained, and convenient area in Minnesota.

Good luck trying to get your CRP if you move out before tax season starts. Call all you want about a problem you're having no one will answer and when you come by to talk to someone in person no one will be there. If you're lucky you may be transferred to an "emergency line" and a person will take your message, but you'll never hear back from anyone.They'll say they're understaffed or the manager was out on the property it's not true. The front office sat empty while I lived there. And two weeks ago when I went in person to once again ask for my CRP. As for the apartment themselves I guess you'll be housed. But I recommend you rent any other apartment in that area. There were a lot of little and major problems that popped up while I lived there. Though I will say the maintenance man was very responsive. A lot of moisture on the windows leading to mold. The only room that gets warm is the living room because the HVAC faces the window, and there are no vents to any other room.
I lived in Solhaus for about 5 years and recently moved out due to graduation. Overall the experience is great. The management team changed 2 times during my time here but they all good. Ryan helped me with all the move out process.

Good quality. Close to various restaurants, the green line and U of M campus. Staff are really helpful. Zee helps me set up the transfer between different apt rooms very efficiently even during the weekend. Josh volunteered to help me with moving on my first day in. Brendan is always kind and friendly. Overall a great living experience so far (lived here for a month)

This is a fine place to live if you don't mind last minute notices from management, refusal to fix basic issues like burnt-out light bulbs, a long wait time for maintenance services (we had to wait over a month before some mold was taken care of), a cheaply-made building, and a staff that forgets about you as their resident when you are a month away from move-out. At first, this place seemed great (friendly staff, nice appliances, relatively cheap, etc.), but at a second glance, it wasn't so great. I would suggest you look elsewhere.

I lived at Solhaus Tower for just under two years and had a great experience. The apartments are expensive, but as a graduate student I wanted a quiet building that was not party central. The building is well maintained and most tenants are in some sort of professional schooling and quiet. The apartment have large floor to ceiling windows that add lots of natural light. I would highly recommend Solhaus if looking for a quiet apartment building near the U of MN.

Student habitable Is about all I can say for this place. It is completely unexceptional and lacks any of the "frills" you might expect when paying 600 to 700 dollars per bedroom. that being said, it fills the function of a student apartment and is convenient to campus. All In all not really a great deal in my opinion, but better than some others in the area.
