Property Ratings at Solon Club Apartment Homes
If you're looking for a quiet, warm and cozy place to call home. Look elsewhere! Solon Club is so cold in the winter and hot in the summer that you'll be better off with the heat/ac in your car. The patio doors/windows are drafty so prepare to weather proof your apartment during the winter months because Solon Club does not provide heat nor salt for the icy sidewalks and parking lot! Also, if you like a nice quiet place to lay your head after a long day of work, you'll be disappointed due to loud neighbors, dogs constantly barking, kids running, Oh and let me not forget that the fire alarms constantly go off here and it takes the fire department at least 10-15 minutes to arrive. There is only one working elevator and it's been this way for at least five months. Trash is left in the stairwells, outside the entrance doors, and the place smells of urine and weed. For the high price of rent, $25 for water, $5 for trash, and now $10/mo. for renters insurance if you don't have your own, you think you could be afforded a peace of mind and a cool/warm place. No! Avoid this apartment complex!

Have lived here 7 years. The apartment is amazing! Plenty of space. The location is perfect-close to shopping/restaurants/work. Huge patio, plenty of room to hang out on nice days. Great pantry and closets. Have always felt safe here. Kara and the office staff are the best I have ever encountered. They are always positive, smiling, polite. They go above and beyond, answering each request in a personal way quickly. Maintenance come in right away and fix it right the first time. Parking lots are kept clean. Plowed in the winter/snow. Trash bins convenient. Laundry always available when needed. Hallways kept clean. Many updates made-painting, new carpets and lighting. Communication is outstanding-always being told when things going on. Community events/parties/town hall mtgs. Never hear neighbors, thick walls. Everyone is friendly says hello and how are you. The only semi complaint is the elevator can run a bit slow at times. The only reason am leaving is because am being priced out. The mngt company is doing renos to each unit. While totally beautiful and completely updated--the new prices are more then I can afford. Unfortunately the bar is set high for new place. Thank you.
I've been here for 3 months and LOVE it. I'm a recent college grad and was looking for a nice apartment as my first place on my own. I'm really into fitness so the 24/7 fitness center and nearby metro parks were a huge plus. I took my dog with me and the pet area right behind the buildings is perfect for his daily run around play time. It's very quiet. I never hear my neighbors through the walls. There's not people on their patios drinking/yelling/playing loud music- none of that. Not even on weekends! I actually got pretty lucky to find this place. Very affordable and great looking, spacious apartments. People here are very nice and friendly. Small talk is common in the elevators followed with a "have a good day". Only downfall are the elevators being so slow! ....and could use some remodeling, however, I just take the stairs. All in all I highly recommend renting here! Great place for ones first apartment.
I've been looking for an apartment for almost 2 months. I had a bad experience with another apartment complex (they promised to have our apartment ready by 6/2 and it wasn't). I called Kara at Solon apartments and she was very empathetic to my situation and she moved heaven and earth to get an apartment ready for me and my family with a couple of days. She and her staff literally went in immediately and started prepping a place. They also were willing to customize the floors and anything else we needed in order to make us feel at home! It was so refreshing to be appreciated after my experience dealing with those other people. If you want to deal with people that are down to earth and want you to be happy, look no further!
Because my reviews keep getting rejected because it doesnt follow "guidelines" im going to keep it simple DON'T RENT HERE PEOPLE IT'S NOT WHAT IT SEEMS
