In the 3 years we have lived here -- through disruptive weather, a world pandemic, a real-estate price explosion, financial market turbulence, social unrest, and normal days as well -- Somerset Townhomes has proven itself to be a true sanctuary and one of the very best places to lease in Austin, Texas. The management & maintenance staff are friendly, helpful and down-to-Earth. We have enjoyed every single day living and saving money here, until we're ready to buy a home.

Been living here almost 5 yrs. Best maintenance staff Ive ever had in any place ive ever lived before! Somerset is a beautiful, well-maintained, quiet, pet-friendly place in very convenient location in Northwest Hills with great amenities. I highly recommend it!

I am pleasantly surprised by the quietness of this environment and everyone from the office staff to my neighbors are pleasant, professional, and respectful. I recently sold my home and moved here and this community has a real neighborhood feel to it which is rare to find in a leased community these days.

Best location in all of Northwest Hills. Its so quiet with so much nature around. I never take for granted how lucky I am to have lived here for 4 years!

The new management here is awful!! They ask you to move out if you don’t want to pay $300 monthly increase to renew. Unprofessional, Rude in every interaction!

Beautiful peaceful community, with upscale features...the clubhouse, gym and pool are awesome! The leasing and maintenance team are super customer-service oriented... and that makes a big difference!

I was without AC for 23 days, and the new manager did not even offer me a credit. It was 91 degrees, and 96 degrees for 2 days. I asked for a credit and was more than happy to negotiate to at least 14 days of the 23 I was unable to stay in my apartment. The new manager was unreasonable and did not rectify or even reasonably consider this huge inconvenience. The maintenance staff here are always very helpful and fast- however once the new Manager started she delayed all repairs which is why i was without AC for almost a full month! Sadly the new manager would not even consider a credit for even half the time I was unable to function in my home. The prior management was very fair and always ensured the residents were happy. The new management has definitely changed, and it has become hostile and unwelcome place. A property that charges top dollar but delivers poor treatment is just disappointing. If policy is to not offer or "barely cover an inconvenience that they caused by delaying" that's just terrible customer service.

I have lived on this property for a total of 6 years. I have seen property staff come and go, and seen the normal difficulties of a townhome community be addressed in a reasonable and effective manner.

I love living at Somerset. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet, and the townhomes themselves are well kept and spacious. There are great amenities here, and it's a very pet friendly community as well. Management and maintenance are always on point, and they've done a great job communicating throughout the trials of 2020.

Very pet-friendly. If you have a dog this is the place for you. Always very quiet and safe, have a real feeling of privacy here. Management is high quality and very responsive. Great landscaping makes for a beautiful complex.

Ive been a tenant at Somerset Townhomes for over a year and a half. My townhome is comfortable and the amenities are excellent. It provides quick access to shopping, medical clinics, and Loop 1. (a driving corridor from South to North Austin). People are friendly and the environment is well maintained.

In my first 2 months living here I have found the office and maintenance staff to be extremely polite and helpful. Those small gestures go a long way to reflecting the overall class of this community.

Borderline unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. The apartment went almost a full month without heat in the middle of the winter this year, 2019. Every for five days someone from maintenance would show up and play with the pilot light on the central unit and then say they needed to order another part. It may work for 1 or 2 days, then malfunction again. Last year, the air conditioner was out for 2 weeks. The dishwasher never really worked, but it’s not worth the trouble to have it fixed. The air conditioner has never been able to cool the 1 bedroom apartment. Management said that it’s not going to be possible to get the temperature under 78 in the summer, being on the second floor with a sliding glass door. Rent increases and lack of available payment options. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Not worth the price!!!!!!

The floor plans are the best in town. That being said, while the floor plans are very nice, you can hear conversations of people walking by in their normal voices. The good part, most of the tenants are professional adults therefore loud music and kids screaming is not an issue. Maintenance has always been a bit of a issue. Seems to be a high turn over. They have remodeled most of the apartments ( many of the renters were not allowed to renew their leases due to these mass upgrade project) thus that did not build good will. All in all in spite of everything, it's a good floor plan and it's close to downtown,shopping, and restaurants.
