I’ve had such a great experience living at The Landing at Woodlawn Tower! The staff made my move-in process smooth and stress-free, which really helped me feel welcome from the start. Management is horrible. After three weeks of maintenance ignoring my requests because of building code violations in my apartment, I received two phone calls from management. I emailed them to inform them I wanted all communication in writing. They stated, “we’ve been trying to reach you for days!” Which was a lie, they called twice, that day, that’s it. They said they would fix it the next day. It’s been a week still nothing done. Do not live here.

Thank you for your review. We have been in constant contact for you on your maintenance request and have multiple emails going back and forth. We offered to fix your issue. We came in and fixed it. We also offered to let you out of your lease if you were still unhappy which you did not want to leave. We also had the city inspect after your complaint to them and they did come inspect and did not find any violations. We'd love to make you happy and have tried multiple ways. We'd love to invite you back down to the office to discuss how we can satisfy you.
My A/C has been down several times. The couple times before it had come back to work after a day or two, and maintenance would show up after a week and then say there's no issue (Well duh, try showing up when the service request was initially submitted perhaps?). This time however, it's been more than 10 days and A/C hasn't come back, and maintenance still hasn't showed up. Submitted service request, went to the office to talk to someone, still nobody shows up. It's during the summer and thermostat reading shows mid/high-80s, and here we are, with no response to a broken A/C.

Thank you for your review. We would love to invite you by the office so we can check on your maintenance request. We have already replaced and fixed several ACs and are planning on replacing several more as the Summer gets started. It's always hard the first heat wave. We understand that it's not fun having your AC not working the way you like it no matter what its like outside. Please stop by so we can make sure you are taken care of.
First off we talked to the lady about renting an updated 2bed, then once we went to look at the place she switched it on us and said the only one she could do was a non-updated one. So we bit the bullet since we needed a place even though she told us that all units got remodeled once they were empty. About a week into living there our A/C never started cooling the place down and we moved in during the hottest months of the year. After 2 grueling months of living in an apartment 83+ degrees 24/7 and them doing nothing about it we got her to agree to break our lease so we could leave. Then they have the audacity to not return calls or emails for 4 months regarding our security deposit and once I finally get ahold of them they say not only do I not get my deposit back but I actually owe them money. 0/10 this place is awful.

I am apartment hunting, looking to move in the next couple of months and found this gem. The Manager was so professional and helpful. She gave me all of the info about the apartment options and this property will definitely be on my list.
