Right by the beach, garage parking, beautiful view, close to many great restaurants.

The property manager is wonderful, there's a very warm and inviting atmosphere here. Its very peaceful, right by the ocean and has a private pool and gym! Plus is dog friendly. The apartments are HUGE! At least compared to what I am used to and it has great views. Honestly, the only downside is the winter- the heating is impossible and definitely needs to be improved.

My family has lived here for three years and are very happy with the property. The location is great, with the beach and many local restaurants within walking distance. The staff is wonderful and very responsive.

We moved in because the price was comparable to other locations listed in the area....but you get a view of the most beautiful beaches in CT. It’s truly luxury living. The inside is stunning, so much square footage. It is the same size as our previous Townhouse we were in. It’s super safe with ample parking. The shower pressure and air conditioning are fantastic. The restaurants that are within walking distance (Duffys, Stowes etc.) are delicious! It’s like you are on vacation living here. I wake up and say WOW. Also the public areas have housekeeping and maintenance staff! Bonus on bonus! The pool, fitness center and grills look brand new too. Great location for any age to live on the beach. - Elizabeth K

I lived here originally in 2013-2016 and recently moved back. We love the area, the boardwalk and the beaches! The apartments are amazing and the staff takes care of needs immediately. The staff are courteous and kind. We didn't want to live anywhere else and decided to come back home :)

Close proximity to various locations such as restaurants and stores Management staff has been great just moved in May 1st with wife and daughter and we love it awesome views of the water and other residents have been helpful and welcomed us in.

We first moved in in 2018. Both elevators have been fully renovated, bringing much better reliability. We love the apartment, with easy access to the boardwalk, and appreciate that the building is pet friendly. The office staff has changed over a couple of times but overall we've had good experiences regardless of who's there. There's enough space for both of us to work from home, something we had to navigate unexpectedly over the last year. We just renewed for a fourth year, having continued to have a good experience here.

We moved in just after Christmas 2020, and are still not used to living with such fantastic views! Rhonda and Tom are very responsive, and can't thank Bobby enough for all the work he does. Only downside really of late is the wind blows everyone's trash in from across the street. Maintenance does a good job trying to keep up with it, but as windy as it gets, it is a tall task.

Beautiful Lobby, Great Parking Available, Elevators, Pet Friendly,Trash Chutes, Secured Self-Storage Cages, Super Clean & Well Kept Maintenance. Also Close To Transportation, Shopping & Schools. A Very Pleasant & Peaceful Residence. I'd Give It More Than The 5 Stars, If It Allowed Me Too! Definitely Worth Your $$ & Visit If You're Looking For A Terrific Residency!

By Far, THE BEST Apartment I've Leased In The Past 11 Years In Connecticut. Love The 2 Bedrooms Floor Plan... Been here Almost 2 Months & Find It Very Clean, and Great Atmosphere, Especially Since It's About 100 Yards From Savin Rock Beach And The Long Island Sound. Health Spa, Pool, BBQ Grill Adds To The Property As Well To The Location.

If you've ever rented more than one apartment in your life, you know that rental properties can be a mixed bag. Having lived at the Soundview for exactly two years, I've seen the good, the bad, and the vast improvements. The first property manager I experienced was seemingly very disorganized, and not action-oriented. The second property manager less than a year later was a vast improvement, but the current, Rhonda, is a returning veteran of the Soundview community. She has visibly made strides in implementing changes that greatly affect the community for the better. Sure, there are still issues. Occasionally water damage during torrential downpours, the windows are not the most insulated you'll ever experience during a New England winter, and the elevators continue to be a miniseries of inconvenience. But at least the elevators are being renovated, which will make living in the building infinitely better. To be honest, I've lived in brand new construction that had more maintenance issues than the Soundview, so I never encountered anything absurd or totally unacceptable in the last two years. Inconvenient? Certainly, but nothing insurmountable. It's a large apartment complex, obviously there will be concerns here and there; it comes with the territory. The upside is that Rhonda and her team seem to spring into action almost immediately, which is a welcomed change from what I've experienced in the past. Kudos to that team! In closing, if you're looking for a reasonably priced, spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment located by the water and not far from grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown New Haven, the Soundview at Savin Rock is absolutely worth a look!

We moved into Soundview in September on very short notice after our house, which had been on the market, was destroyed by a water event. We can't say enough about the professionalism of Johneisha, the building manager, and Bobby, the fix it person. Both respond very quickly to problems that come up and will do whatever they can to make your living at Soundview a positive experience. Every few months they put on a party for residents which helps residents to get to know one another, and the food they provide is always plentiful and awesome! The building has a varied age population which is a plus. Before our house was damaged, we had been looking for several months at condos in the greater New Haven area. However, after living at Soundview for several months, we decided that we did not want to live anywhere else but here. No house taxes, no repair bills, plenty of room for two people, the lively boardwalk to get your daily exercise, all kinds of restaurants within walking distance, and best of all, we have a view of the beach, the ocean and the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from every room in our apartment.

Living here 4 months... lots of maintenance issues, and new property manager is rude and abrasive. Steer clear!

I moved in just over a year ago (to join my then fiancee), and I've been very happy with the responsiveness of the staff whenever we've needed...anything, really. The Assistant Property Manager (Jessica) and the Super (Bobby) in particular have been great with not only responding quickly when something is needed, but they have even been proactive to the point of putting in work orders even before I've asked. The example is that our dryer had become out of balance, and just by hearing the sound of it (in passing our apartment) she put in a replacement request before we even asked. And Bobby was quick as always to get a new dryer in place. We have nothing but positives regarding the staff here. The building is a bit on the older side, so it is undergoing some changes (like new windows being installed for winter). Can't wait for that to be done as well!

Great apartment and terrific leasing staff. Spacious 2 BR apartments with lots of light, good storage space and newly renovated with a very modern feel. 1 BR also available. Apartment above about the 3rd floor have a view of the water and beach with the North side units having a lighthouse view. Only slight disappointment was lack of granite/corian counters in the kitchen - which would have been a nice addition. Convenient trash shoots on all floors. Black counters look like slate or stone though. New stainless steel appliances with a full size washer and dryer in all units. Elevator access to all units is great for moving or hauling groceries. Secured entries, and covered monitored parking is a plus. Interior common space well maintained with nice pool and BBQ areas. Open areas around apartment building provide a very open feel with the convenience of being 3-5 miles (~10 minutes) outside of New Haven. Very relaxing setting and within walking distance to several good beach front restaurants. Great value per square footage compared to other locations. Looked at many self-proclaimed "luxury" apartment complexes in the suburbs of New Haven from Milford to Orange to Shelton and was quite disappointed in the settings, the quality and the maintenance of the units - Soundview is heads above the rest and has great views and a terrific office staff as a bonus.

There is no property manager on site. There is an assistant property manager who doesn't know what she's doing or talking about. She incorrectly states policy, threatens litigation against customers, and lies through her teeth. We had an issue where our movers may have caused damage when we moved out. The movers contacted her the same day asking to be furnished with an invoice. 20 days later, I called someone above her with a complaint and she claimed our movers weren't cooperating. Low and behold, an invoice hadn't even been obtained. The entire staff at Paredim Partners is TERRIBLE to deal with. Rude, lying and unapologetic about a complete failure to fulfill the lease. We are considering legal action.

They say this is a luxury apartment haha.I have been living here for 4months now with a year lease and I'm paying $1700 for basically just a decent view of the ocean. I would say, its a generally older community that reside in these apartments. The amenities are decent,the size pool is good. The gym is the size of a 300sq ft apartment, not much going on in there. Few dumbbells with 2 treadmills, 1 bike and 1 elliptical. From the outside it doesn't look that bad but once you get inside interior is very cheap. Cheap paint which comes off when barely any water touches it. There always seems like there is a problem with the elevator, likely there's 2. The AC unit which we hardly use, had to get serviced because it wasn't blowing out cool air. The last problem, its very noisy being right next to a main street and at night kids like to hang out in the shopping stores parking lot late at night. On my floor its quiet so no complaints there. Now the good. The apartment's grounds are well kept, very clean. The inside is also very clean and smell free. There is a covered and uncovered parking. Apartment complex is like 100ft from the beach. Good restaurants within walking distance.

We moved in a couple years ago and we liked it a lot. Since then the rent has gone up HUGE amounts and the amenities have gone down. The biggest problem though is the heat. It's always freezing. The windows need to be replaced and haven't been. We have had the heat running for 3 days on 80 degrees without shutting the heat off and the living room is still 55 degrees according to the thermostat on the heat remote control. Our electric bill is ridiculous and we're freezing.
