We really appreciate your kind words about our staff. Thank you for your review and your 5 star rating!
I lived in the area for 15 years, so I’m very familiar with this building. The surprising thing to me was how awkward the floors were and how clearly no one bothered to really fix them. Bless the girl who toured us as she tried everything to dodge the true answer, but the floors were visibly uneven from walking in to their units. We saw an upstairs and downstairs, so the location wasn’t an excuse, but you can feel the floors rise and fall throughout both units. My wife and I even took pictures where the walls meet the flooring and you can see the arch in the picture of how obvious this building hasn’t tried to even the floors. We rolled a pen and it immediately rolled away towards the lowest point in both rooms. We obviously didn’t sign here as the price wasn’t even that off from anything else we saw.

I have lived here for sixteen years. The staff and property management are very friendly and helpful. I have always received excellent service from them. They are very professional and attentive to tenants. The apartment complex grounds are always well kept and the apartment is spacious and modern. The location is perfect for me, close to shops and restaurants.

I have nothing but good words for S.C.R.C. I've experience house inspections which show management cares about the up keep of their apartment homes. And the service for me has been next two days which is very good! When I first move in my 1br. down stairs the place was emaculent, very tight! I recommend anyone to move here if your looking. I lived here in 2023 and had a terrible time trying to contact ANYONE in the leasing/property management office. No one is ever there during the posted hours and you can never get anyone on the phone when you call ANY of their numbers. The maintenance people are fine BUT they'll leave a hole in your wall and cover it with cardboard. The place is so old it's falling apart. You get what you pay for as it's one of the cheapest places in the area.

I have been living here for a little over two years and I have watched management change, they are always polite and willing to listen. I have had no problems in dealing with them and I am thankful for their hard work in dealing with loud upstairs neighbors. Maintenance is hardworking and friendly, I actually enjoy speaking with them when I see them around the grounds. Living situation will be different for everyone. The property is older but we have an upgraded unit and its well maintained. The location I super great! There is great shopping in the area as well as being really close to the freeway ifyo u need to commute for work. I'd recommend this place to anyone, just remember that you make your place of living as well as the people around you. Take care!

units quickly start to fall apart after moving in, roaches everywhere in the complex, maintenance will never help you and water is constantly shut off with no warning for hours through the day. avoid this place please
The rent price might catch your attention but so will the roaches crawling all over the property and your home, the lack of response from the leasing office, and the quick Band-Aids they use to resolve a maintenance request. I've been waiting for our oven to be fixed for two weeks after it was "fixed" and worked for an hour. Pest control is a maintenance man with a bottle of bug spray you can buy at Walmart. To pay rent, you have to scour for a store that you can pay at because paying online with a bank account adds on $50. And now, we're being forced to park our car elsewhere for 2 days just so they can paint the asphalt even more black. Not even sure where to park without being towed. We cannot wait to move out. Lesson learned that you get what you pay for.

Besides the beautiful property and trees everywhere, there are no real redeeming qualities about this property. The parking is horrendous if you have more than two cars, and even with two cars the unassigned parking is often terrible as well requiring you to take a 5 minute walk to the back of the complex. The fountains and mini-ponds inside the complex are all out of commission except for the one near the office so whenever it rains you are stuck with disgusting brown water that simply sits in the ponds for weeks until they either dry up or are finally cleaned. The buildings themselves are falling apart. Management had an incredibly slow response time to the recent rain season and is now scrambling to do roof repairs as there were tons of leaks all of the complex, including my own apartment, that occurred at multiple times throughout the rainy season without ever have been fixed. Management also does not seem to care about the number of residents living in each apartment as our neighbors had a family of 10+ living next to us, accompanied by the noise you would expect from that many people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. Not to mention some of the buildings are falling apart structurally as well due to their inability to properly maintain their buildings and prevent water damage. Our apartment's living room has massive cracks running down opposite sides of the walls due to the foundation buckling. This place seems like it was probably a fantastic place to live 20 years ago. Now? Avoid at all costs. There is no telling what issues are going to come up in the future.

These apartments used to be OK 5 years ago, nothing great but good location, but new management completely ignores basic maintenance and it's been just down from there. Rent keeps going up while public areas are falling apart, laundry room remodel was a mess, green areas are not kept properly, homeless people in trash bins every day, fountains have been dry for years and won't get fixed, maintenance guys do mickey mouse fixes, and the list goes on. Think twice before moving in.

I absolutely love my new apt and so far enjoy living at this property. I've only been here a couple of months but it is safe, clean, quiet and very relaxing with the water features, meandering walkways and bridges which makes for a nice evening walk. The move in was very stressful due to things on my end but the office staff went out of their way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and even stayed late to process the paperwork and payment from my roommate. My unit was recently renovated with brand new stainless steel appliances and laminate wood floors throughout, it looks amazing and I am so glad we chose the unit we did! The leasing staff is nice, especially Adrian who always goes out of his way to answer my questions and problem solve, and ensure my happiness as a resident. The maintenance staff is friendly and pretty quick to finish service requests. The towel rack in the bathroom was loose and about to fall off the wall and they were out to fix it the same day. Parking has not been an issue, even though we have 3 cars (Me, my boyfriend and a roommate) and street parking is close by. This was a big problem at our last place and I always worried about leaving my car on the street and then hiking in a couple of blocks late at night.
As a newlywed couple we moved here in October 2014 being referred by other residents that have in this complex for the past 10 years. According to the manager, our 1 bedroom unit is the nicest of the of all the 1 bedroom units on the property. It features granite counter tops on both the kitchen and bathroom, updated cabinets throughout the kitchen, and a newer air conditioning unit. The Pros include a very peaceful environment with a water stream running through several parts for the apartments a covered parking space. The cons include the limited parking space for a second car or visitors, the landscaping upkeep is very poor, maintenance very slow to react to issues, management is incompetant when tenants have issues and for the most part the rent is too high for a 1 bedroom in this complex. The location is great but the overall appearance lacks in a prime area.
I live in a one bedroom on the first floor with a large patio. The layout of the apartment space is fantastic. With the dining room space right next to the living room, it gives an expansive look even though it is under 800 square feet. The landscaping is great and there are dozens of large trees at the property. There are several laundry facilities, the closest one is all but 50 feet from my front door. Even being less than a block away from to South Coast Plaza, the apartment complex is quiet. Parking is not an issue if you only have two cars. But, if you are someone who likes to entertain, then this place is not for you. Guest parking is extremely limited and parking on the street out front is pitiful. I have lived here for the better part of a year and I am considering moving into one of their two bedrooms.
