Property Ratings at South Gardens Townhomes
The manager, Jesse, rented me an apartment. I lived there for 6 months, bought out of my lease and COMPLETELY cleaned the place. Shampooed the carpet, took apart the oven for deep cleaning, everything. My girlfriend and I took days off of work just to get the place spotless, taking it very seriously because we really needed the deposit money to buy our kids Christmas presents, she did a walkthrough and told me the place looked great. When I got my deposit back they gave me 30% of it, saying there was "Above normal wear and tear". I tried calling her repeatedly and she avoided my calls when I tried to get them to do something about this. I know she avoided my calls because I tried calling her from my phone, no answer, immediately afterward I called from my girlfriend's phone and she answered! She told me she remembered telling me the place looked great and she was going to get to the bottom of it. I never heard back from her so I exchanged a few emails with her, with her telling me that she was still working on it, now she has blocked my email address. I had no problems living there, never had to use maintenance to fix anything, but the way they handled the deposit is beyond shady. I was never late on a payment, kept the place tidy and made very little noise when I lived there (I was hardly there), I considered myself the perfect tenant. Jesse, I hope you read this. No wonder the place went to section 8 with garbage like you running the place! I would say I hope your children see how you conduct business, so you would be ashamed of yourself, but the world doesn't need more people like you in it. Have a blessed day!
