This place is definitely home. Bianca, Hunter and Abi have made my husband I feel like family which has helped us to truly feel even more at home. The environment is friendly, warm and welcoming. I will recommend this place to anybody I know looking for somewhere to call home.

Residents simply do not pick up after their pets. I received weekly emails regarding this issue but not a single one made a difference. The surrounding area as well as inside the building stairwells are always littered and South Ridge does absolutely nothing about it. There is a big cockroach problem, at least in the main building 1. I lived on the top floor and still had pest control making visits regularly, especially during the warmer months. The entire building’s fire alarms went off CONSTANTLY. I suggest investing in some nice noise canceling headphones and ear plugs, you’re going to need them. To top it all off, they decided to deduct $30 from my security deposit for a burnt out light bulb. When I asked them why I was being charged for this, their response was a single image of the light and an image of the inspection form I filled out on day one of moving in. After following up, they refused to provide further details.

This property is listed as luxury, but it is far from it. the grounds are nothing but parking lots, the dog part is sloped and dirty. But to management team needs a lot of training. They do not care at all about the residents here at all. Literally, take your money and go anywhere else.

Honestly I was so excited to live here for the amenities and great location but I could not have regretted it more. I have not felt safe in my apartment since the second week of moving here. My lease is up in 3 months and I have tried to get out of it multiple times because I want to LEAVE. I have called the cops over six times to help me with residents that have attempted to make their way into my apartment uninvited, screaming fights in common areas, blasting music/movies at 4AM on a Wednesday and neighbors that make threats for no reason at all. I have called the management for help multiple times and nothing has changed six months later. Highly do not recommend.
for svrl reasons, i do NOT recommend lvng here!!!! there are CONSTANT breakins [cars]……..do NOT rent in bldgs 3 thru 6 because your car will not be protected!! they do say ur vehicle will be secure in the parking garage but anybody can get in with how bad the gate systm is [breaks down every other day]……i have several friends who live here and they told me their cars have been BROKEN INTO……….office staff never do anything about nothing……..besides that, trash everywhere and office doesn’t care. i’ve sent tons of emails about trash and dog poop around buildings and staff never respond or do anything about it…….fire alarms went off for months and office never did anything about it [haven’t went off in a couple months but I expect them to go off any day now]. the hangout areas are extremely boring, only good thing about this place is the pool [which is always shut down btw..] my one br have ok square-footage but not worth all the other trouble……………..i’m so excited to move out in a few months!!!!!

My fiancé and I have lived at South Ridge for a little over a year now and we love it! Now that the amenities are opening back up, the on-site team is holding more resident-events, etc., we are even more excited to be here another year!
Management and staff are not responsive at all. They won't respond to any emails or return phone calls, but they can post on social media all the time to try to promote their public image. Also, upon moving out of the apartment we were told we would receive notice within 7 days if we owed any money for damages. 4 MONTHS LATER after receiving no emails or mail from South Ridge, my roommates and I receive notice from a collection agency that we owe $700 to South Ridge and they are going to report us to the credit bureau. This is after receiving no explanation or communication from South Ridge whatsoever. Still can't get a response from them after several calls and emails were sent regarding the issue. Even as a resident, I sent several emails to South Ridge with questions (during COVID-19 when their office was closed) and never once received a response.

The unit itself is nice. but thats about it. Stairwells are disgusting. Elevators are always trashed and break frequently. Do you love having a fire alarm wake you up at 2 AM? well youre in luck, it goes off all the time and usually in the middle of the night. There is also dog poop everywhere you dont even want to walk your dog around here. Ive seen cockroaches several times. I would stay away...

The building looks nice from the outside but inside is trashed! Staircases and elevators are awful! And the fire alarms go off all the time while you sleep!

DO NOT LIVE HERE unless you want to be monthly woken up at 2AM on a Friday morning or 7AM on a Saturday morning to the extra sensitive and ear piercing fire alarms throughout the complex. This place is awful! The pointless security fobs never work and they added “premium parking” on each level to try and get you to pay ~$25 more than your $50/mo to park in the garage. Bottom line... if you like to sleep in past 7am on the weekend... don’t do it!!!

Terrible experience. Poor construction. You will hear everything in the units around you. I can even hear the guy peeing in the unit above us. Very loud at night. Staff will not acknowledge this or try to help you. Drug activity at this facility has made the news recently. These are your neighbors!

You might as well be signing a lease with the people in the units above you, below you, and beside you because you'll hear just as much of what they do as your own roommates. New management is absolutely terrible. The place is never clean, trash lays around for weeks and the staff is rude. The only good news I guess is that rates are dropping. However, after noticing my unit being advertised at a rate $500 less than what I was paying, I was told I was locked in at my rate if I decided to sign a new lease. Now since I didn't tell them I was moving out exactly 60 days before my lease is up, they're charging me over $300 for the six days I forgot to tell them I'm moving out. Maybe if I got to pay market value for my apartment the 60 day notice to vacate wouldn't need to happen! Management here doesn't care about your interests, they just want to turn a quick buck.
