South Square Townhomes

I have experienced unpleasant and unsafe situations at Southsquare. The maintenance staff has been helpful, timely, and very kind in all of my interactions with them. Carlos has serviced my unit many times and he is an excellent employee who works diligently for the residents here at Southsquare.

South Square is a pleasant place to stay and conveniently located to shopping centers, restuarants, stores.

Nice friendly community with a well kept pool area. Management communicates well through news letters.

I really feel safe here in South Square. The area is well maintained and the neighborhood is peaceful. I highly recommend this area.

I really like this community! I have had some minor maintenance requests since I moved in, but nothing major. Location is amazing and very close to my work. Office staff stays on top of keeping the grounds clean and they are very friendly. House is cozy and has everything I need. Can't ask for much more. Great place to call home!

Everything! Calm environment, nice neighbors, close to shops, dining, gas, Chapel Hill and I-40. Staff is fantastic, answering my questions and helping me if I ever have any issues. The grounds are well kept and cared for. Great place to live!

I really enjoy residing at South Square Townhomes. The location is great for my job commute. The staff responds in a reasonable time for any questions or maintenance requests. I would highly recommend South Square Townhomes to anyone looking for a place to live.

The best community ever! I moved in about 4 years ago and this place is fantastic. Really good staff always there to help you out. They always seem to go above and beyond in helping you, whether through a work order or the office staff helping me locate a package that was mis-delivered. I can't say enough great things about this place.

South Square came available when I desperately needed a place to live and I have not been disappointed with their care and service.

The maintenance team is just so nice. I've had a few things that needed some work over the last year. Lou, Curtis or Carlos come out to help and always get it fixed right the first time. Kudos. I love South Square Townhomes!

What a comfortable place to live! My townhouse has a great porch to hang out on when the weather is nice, nice stainless appliances, and was ready for me on my move in day. Applying and moving in went very smoothly. Ever since I've moved in, the office is quick to respond if I need help with something. My neighbors and cool and shops and restaurants are all very close, like across the street! I love South Square Townhomes!

Nice little community in the center of the South Square area of Durham. Close to most restaurants and stores you would possibly need, a lot within walking distance if you are so inclined. Been here about 2 years now and have very little to complain about.

This place is one of the best, most affordable places to live in Durham. They care about your wellbeing, your level of comfort, and the office team is one of the friendliest set of people I've ever come across.

South Square is quiet convenient to the area shops and the rental office team are always pleasant and thorough. I appreciate the upkeep of the the property and the maintenance team

I like the green spaces which allow me to take walks with my dog and stretch my legs. There aren't many communities in the South Square area that have such great green space while being directly across the street from all major shops, dining, post office, banks, you name it. Great place! Highly Recommend!

I am happy with my move in experience at South Square. Prior to my move in Aaron was VERY customer oriented & always responded in a timely manner to any of my concerns. The complex is manicured, noise level is fair, near stores & public transportation.

I absolutely enjoy living at this community. I feel really safe here. Everyone is welcoming and friendly.

I enjoy living here. The grounds are kept up. The staff is helpful if we need something. My house has a screened porch to relax on when the weather warms up, and another porch out back. Greatest part is the location, fantastic restaurants all around me. Durham really knows how to eat.

It's a quiet and a clean community. Staff are very welcomed and helpful.

When I moved in, I wanted a community that is cared for and takes pride in their appearance and upkeep. This staff works very hard and it shows. The property is cleaned up daily, landscaping and trimming is on a tight schedule and the new work done on renovations and the grounds looks great. Notices are sent in a timely consistent manner if contractors need access to my house. Thanks for being a great staff!

Having and living with a peace of mind is what I would say first about my South Square experience. Ive been a resident for 14 years and the consistency of a safe community has remained a #1 priority . Management & staff strive to be professional and friendly . Easy access to the resident portal offers a convenient option to communicate with staff , service request , rental payments, community events , etc . Before COVID -19 Management organized fun events to bring community together ( e.g. pool party ) & also donation drives ( e.g. toys for tots ) can good donations etc .

South Square is a great place to live. The office is definitely above par. I renewed my lease because they definitely care about satisfying their residents

Great place to live where maintenance requests get completed right the first time. I love to see a high level of customer service like the South Square staff embodies. The new renovations and upgrades to the landscaping look wonderful. Any issues always handled quickly and professionally.

I came to South Square under duress , but staying here has made me feel safe and secure. This a great place to live, contrary to all the negative publicity Durham has gotten.

Wow, what to say. These guys are great at getting out and completing maintenance requests quickly, while also making sure things are fixed correctly. They've been great at calling ahead and working with my schedule, which is really important with the pandemic still present. They're so nice! South Square is a good place to live. However, the people with dogs need to be more attentive in cleaning their dogs' defacations up. 12 complexes have trash alongside the paved walkways alot. People need to make sure that they are placing their trash into the dumpster, because some place trash bags alongside the dumpster at times, making it difficult to get into the dumpster area to discard of trash.

I moved into South Square Townhomes almost three years ago to the day. It's been a blessing living here during such troubling times. The staff has been wonderful about working everyday and carrying on with a smile given the troublesome state of the country. All my maintenance needs have been taken care of quickly without needing a callback. The pool was renovated and looks amazing, its never packed, and its such a wonderful retreat when we cant leave our house much. I love the new grills too! Thank you all, you're a great staff!

Amazing location in Durham with tons of great restaurants and shopping. The staff is very proactive at completing work orders. Lots of property improvements that have made the place look great!

What a great place! Ive lived in many rental communities over the years and this is the best maintenance and customer service Ive experienced to date. My house has newer appliances and provides me with everything I need. The whole property looks great too! Theyve been upgrading several amenities and the newer amenities are so nice to have given the need to stay at home recently. Thanks South Square Townhomes!

Quiet place to live..

Giselle is very kind in the leasing office. She made us feel right at home from the beginning, ensuring that we are all set and have the resources we need. I also have enjoyed the community dog park and ability to feel at home right away.

My work orders are always done in a timely manner. The staff is great about helping us with issues. I love my house, the pool and the location is great. Thank you all for your hard work.

All staff at South Square are extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. Any issues with maintenance is dealt with quickly and thoroughly.

south square is my newest home but the community is clean quiet and the management staff has been absolutely fantastic. I've needed maintenance twice but it was handled fast and friendly. I'll be here for a long time

Imagine finding a great place to live that feels like being out in the country. Then imagine that the place is real and has all of the best restaurants and shopping, post office, library, gyms all directly across the street! That's South Square Townhomes! The office staff are really nice and are always trying to help. Any work orders get completed quick by the great maintenance team. Plus, they've added some great amenities over the last few months and the property looks great! Love living here!

South Square is a decent community but management is not great. They dont care about their residents. Very dry and black and white. No sense of community. Staff dont value or appreciate their residents. They need a course in customer service not just business side.
