Southgate Apartment Community

Overall I'm pleased. My apartment, although dated, is nice enough for the price. It's affordability goes a long way. There are some items I would likely point to for improvement, but I don't really expect these things because of the value already provided.

Decent area with overall poor management. Very hit or miss on staff.

The management team at Southgate is very friendly and easy to work with. LaRose and Mercedes helped make me feel at home right away and have been an incredible help throughout the whole process.

Countryside is a wonderful place to live. My fellow neighbors are kind and watchful.we need washing facilities on every floor.

The management office has been great. Any time I've needed something Aziz has always been just an email away. The apartment is affordable, and that makes my expectations for a perfect environment lower. If I were to complain it would be directed more toward the other tenants in the building. I'm on the 3rd floor and yet I always hear loud banging and music playing with loud bass which distracts me from work. They also leave trash all throughout the building and just recently someone ripped the hand rail off the first flight of stairs. It just gives the feeling of living in a bad part of town or something like that.

We like it here as neighbors are quiet and maintenance work gets done whenever we have asked for it.

Countryside is an overall poorly managed building by a company that is very hit or miss when it comes to staff. I have had staff that clearly care and strive to do a good job, and many others who clearly do not care. I have been waiting months for certain maintenance requests that care clearly not a priority for management.

The apartment unit I am in was exactly what I was looking for and still is just what I need...

This place is great. Some things happen but I have never have a real bad issue with the place

They have vary much so proven to our family to be a safe and trustworthy caring company to have our home with and indefinitely do plan to live with Goldmark

I have had great experience living at Countryside, and appreciate maintenance working hard to get there in a timely manner to fix stuff in my apartment. The only thing I have had issues with when I first moved in was snow removal not coming often/late in the day after storms but it seems to have gotten better over the last year. Otherwise, overall satisfied.

Aspen Ridge is quiet and relaxed. I have lived here for years now because the process for payment and living here is just so simple. Thank you for having me. I love the apartment I'm in and if/when I move I plan to stay within Goldmark honestly. As long as no other maintenance issues come up.

Lovely area to live and well kept building. Apartments have plenty of room and friendly staff.

Southgate - 1 is a good community were the neighbors look out for each other. If there is a issue, we are good at working as a team to solve the problem.

It is a good location and the quality is good for a competitive price

I've been Renting from Goldmark at Southgate for less than a year -- and it's a good community -- with a lot of progress in the future. I can't speak for everyone but when I have a maintenance issue or tenant issues, I feel they will always listen and respond accordingly. I just renewed my lease based on the prompt service and how I feel I am valued when dealing with landlord-tenant issues.

Goldmark is a gigantic corporation that can give you a good or horrible expernece depending on the staff that happen to be managing or maintaining your building at any given time. I have had both good and horrible experiences with goldmark. I am left feeling that I am just a number and do not matter at all. They would just as well kick me out as have me live here another several years it doesnt matter to them at all. If I am quite and pay my rent they are tolerant of me otherwise they would just as well have me gone. Just like any other gigantic corporation with hundreds of people and several layers of bureaucracy.

We like living here as everyone is friendly and maintenance response to requests is quick. The neighborhood is quiet as not much noise or activity. Living here feels like home.

If you are looking for a quiet place to live, this is great!

Building has roaches, the property manager knew this and didn't tell me. Took several weeks to fix my garage door

The management team here knows exactly what they are doing. They answered my every question typically within five minutes of me sending a message. They were very friendly and courteous throughout the application process. They were on top of my every need as well for the price that was set. This is definitely a place worth checking out if not for the management which I cant thank enough, then for the fact that the apartment is located by everything you could ask for. There are many restaurants and a grocery store within 2 minutes of the building. The Sanford is within 5 and the malls are within 10 minutes. Im looking very forward to my stay with Southgate.

Countryside Apartments represents a quaint little community of people in a quiet lovely neighborhood in the south of Fargo. Matters of importance are handled quickly here and the staff working for goldmark are very friendly, and efficient

Our apartment is a great price for the size and location! The multiple lease durations allowed us to choose what worked best for us. We were unable to tour before moving in but we are very pleased with the apartment we got!!

I felt very welcomed into the Southgate Community! Madison went above and beyond when showing apartments and even sent a follow-up email with pictures of a unit unavailable to your. There was constant communication from Madison from the showing, to the application process, and upon check-in. She had a sheet already highlighted to show where to park and where guests can park. She has answered all my questions. I received a welcome packet and gift upon arrival which was much appreciated! I like the mailbox is at the main entrance and my garage is directly in front of my apartment. It seems Southgate cares about their tenants. I was impressed I was offered an incentive even before asking since I still have another apartment to lease for a month. The application process went smooth. Although I didn't realize I needed to submit two payslips. Two walls have a new accent color paint job- looks so cute! The view from the balcony and access to the bike path is one of the main reasons I picked Southgate. There are many plug-ins and a new light fan. It was nice I could submit pictures of damage during my first inspection of the apartment. The new carpet is also nice.

Madison made my entire leasing and move-in experience a breeze. She was very helpful throughout the entire touring process, selecting a date that worked for me, and filling me in on some of the local attractions. The apartment itself is great - I'm living alone for the first time in my life (always had roommates before) and I feel like I have enough space, reasonable (often unnoticeable) volume from my neighbors, and I'm getting a fair price. I'm on the Southwest-ish side of my building so I can sit out on my balcony and watch the sunset every night. It's a very peaceful environment within a 10-15min drive of everything I need. Simply put, I'm really happy here so far.

Their maintenance is pretty good but not at the laundry and door locks. They've got real problems with fixing things right that I've suffered from over the past 4-5 years. Horrible. Ever since they put in the new washing machines it went downhill. It was very good before that. Terrible business decisions.

From initial contact to move in, the leasing staff was outstanding! I felt heard, catered to, and taken care of.

Southgate is a great building to live in, Whenever I email the office they are always friendly and usually get to my concern with in 1-2 days which is great! Easy to work with as well.
