The Spectra Plaza community is often quiet which is very nice given how active/loud Downtown can be. The location remains my prime reason for loving the area, along with the cleaning & service staff.

Communal spaces are great, but the shared washing machines are often not working. The kitchen appliances, particularly the stove top and the fact that apartments do not come with a microwave is pretty terrible, especially considering the cost of rent here. The size of the stovetop does not allow for someone like me, who cooks very regularly and likes to meal prep, to cook in a convenient way. It's a problem I've never faced in apartments that I've lived in before which were much more affordable. The stove top needs to be changed period. If a living space does not allow for adequate preparation of meals then might as well stay in a hotel. The carpets in the shared spaces should be changed as well. I think the parking prices are excessive for what you are actually getting.

I love it here at Spectra Plaza. Lots of light with the floor to ceiling windows. The amenities are really nice. Well-built building, nice and quiet. Walking distance to many nice bars and restaurants. Staff is friendly and the common areas are well maintained. This is my first apartment experience, and I am loving it.

Very small units. Kitchen is very small as well. I have outdated carpet in my apartment. Garage is always having issues opening up with key card. Only 1 active washing machine working in the washing room.

Mostly positive experience. Quiet building with great amenities. Friendly neighbors, very little noise complaints. Great location, with quick access to I-84, I-91, and Route 2. Convenient to attend any downtown Hartford events. Property management needs improvement, they’re not very friendly and it takes a few days to get a response. Maintenance is great, quick response time and reliable. Parking is very expensive. Overall a good experience.

The level of the floor on the apartment is not right and theres a tree in front of my window, i cant see anything , the sink on the kitchen and bathroom doest work properly due the level of the floor being wrong

It was a pleasant stay and very well maintained. Cleaned and the garage is too expensive. It went up double the amount but garage parking is clean.

nicely kept building right downtown Hartford. Walking distance to restaurants, convince store, banks.Best part is being close to the airport for me!

Every person on my floor is quiet and respectful. I rarely have issues with my neighbors. For instance, when we had a fire drill closer to midnight, everyone handled it well. They were calm and collected and walked in a manner that was considerate of others. Ultimately, I felt safe, and I am sure others did.

My stove top doesn't work neither does the oven. The apartment is a bit too small. If it's only one person I would recommend but if not I wouldn't recommend it.

Haven't had any issues. However spacing is very small and there isn't a real closet. Don't know how to use the oven. You can tell the apartment was originally a hotel due to everything being so small. Toilet is very weird too.

Safe and quiet. Walkable to most restaurants downtown. Post office is right down the street. Friendly neighbors and most people in the building are professionals

Very easy move in, staff were super helpful and friendly, very honest about the space as they suggested I tour before applying, which was great because the apartments vary in size and regular units might not be for everyone. The unit I settled on is the perfect size for just me with a beautiful view. Great location for the younger and responsible crowd! Lots of great amenities. A few stores and restaurants within walking distance, the city bus comes right outside of the doors.

The location is great, the rent is a bit pricey as is the rate at which it increases. The amenities are varied and useful! During my time here, there have been a few rent snafus that make me give less than 5 stars, but overall a good experience.

After a year with Spectra Plaza, I would say that the experience was OK.I think there’s some improvements that could be made. Staff changes all the time... The apartment is pretty nice but a little too expensive. All appliances are quite small making the kitchen and washing situations somewhat awkward. Also Move out charges are too expensive...

The location is wonderful, with the science center, YMCA, river front plaza (just to name a few) within walking distance. Some amenities include a theater, lounge area, gym and parking. I’d say the only downside is that the plaza entrance usually smells of dog urine and poop.

Been living here for years. It’s been alright. I think there’s some improvements that could be made. Staff changes all the time. I wish we had more washers and dryers especially since they tend to break down often and it gets crowded a lot. But overall good.

Generally, there have been a few issues with the elevators, some doors, and a few cases of complexity with the room itself. This being said, the tenants are generally amicable and my living situation is fine. There were some issues with billing and re-leasing, some of which got solved.

Nice but its kind of annoying that they charge 10% fee for any violation , some me very in expected but overall a very peaceful place to reside

nice location if you like being in downtown. Nice amenities. Within the last two months I lived there, the building was clean. Only bad side was the package room is a mess. I could not find my envelope.

Compared to other downtown rooms, the rooms at Spectra Plaza are somewhat cheaper. It's worth considering. However, the facilities inside the rooms are somewhat ordinary. For example, the power of the induction cooker is relatively low, and the washing machine makes a bit of noise.

The apartment is very good . The staff is very supportive . The lounge area , library and gym area is too good . I like staying here . I will recommend this place to others

The apartment is pretty nice but a little too expensive. All appliances are quite small (all new) making the kitchen and washing situations somewhat awkward. The building is a little older—no lighting in the bedroom at all. The lighting in the living room and kitchen is okay. Very large windows that allow for a lot of natural light to compensate during the day.

I have lived at Spectra Plaza for about a month now and absolutely love it! The amenities make it such an awesome place. I love using the gym to do cardio before work early in the morning and playing pool in the community lounge at night. It is also s short walk away from the gorgeous River Walk. There is a ton of security in place to keep residents safe in the evening, like swiping in at each door and to use elevators. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I think these apartments are very worthwhile for their monthly rent especially considering the amenities and safety of the complex.

Amazing place! Everyone is so nice and welcoming especially the people at the office, even the guards. The place is very secure and neat. I hope to enjoy my stay here!

So far so great. Besides some minor inconveniences cannot complain! Staff here is great. Would recommend to friends for sure. It is difficult at times in the apartment being a tall person since things are European style.

After almost five years with Spectra Plaza, I would say that the experience was OK. However, I would recommend you consider other options. The building is OK and safe, and the maintenance is quite OK. However, none of the property management teams I've seen so far seem to care about the tenants and their experience. Everything is transactional, and the only time they will interact with you is lease renewal time, which of course it's going to come with an increase, for random and various reasons.

Great place to live! Very modern and sleek. It is a great distance to all of the hospitals in the area, so it would be great for other residents.
