Property Ratings at Spectrum Paramount
Rude, unhelpful, and unempathetic management. Elevators and garage doors are constantly breaking.
The management is incredibly rude and unhelpful. No moving elevators are available when people move in and they charge moving fees ($100). They also charge a $250 deposit fee and say they would return it at the end of the lease--not true, they simply lie about it and take the money at the end to cover their cleaning expenses. They have pit-bulls running without the leash and with no in common areas and they attack people. Lots of pollution around the area and rabies from wild animals. The walls are so thin that it sounds like a hammer when people walk above the unit and the management does nothing about it instead they keep blaming everything on residents without offering a new arrangement. They could not offer a change of an apartment after the noise violation complaint was filed for 6 months. There is no security and no help line. There is only their internal phone system and they do nothing to help people, they just take notes and do nothing about any single problem reported there. Lots of suspicious random people walk in the property and it is not safe for females. Stoker attraction. The car was vandalized there and the management refused to pay for the damage. They do not allow to use the trash shoot and there is one on each floor. Instead the trash is collected by them (they also search it) and it smells everywhere because there is no way to take the trash out from the property when anyone wants. There were live bugs coming from trashes from cross-contamination. The issues were reported there many times and nothing was done from the management team to help resolve them. They just ignore everything and only collect payments. Also, my rent was always paid on time and they were trying to evict me and even created a lawsuit in court for "fake non-payment" because they did not want to correct other issues.
We finally found a place that we can call home. This place has awesome amenities, everyone that works in the leasing office are super nice and very welcoming. I love the underground parking especially through winter I don't have to shovel out snow! Each month they have "Meet Your Neighbor", other great events giving back to the residents and meeting people who live around you ( which is nice considering other places you don't even know who lives next door to you). I would definitely recommend this place for my family and friends, they have a new building opening soon & retail space. It's a great community!

Hi there! I am glad to hear that you have a found a home! We love hearing what our residents have to say. Refer any friends or family you might have looking for a Gaithersburg apartment! Thanks again!
This apartment complex is very unique compared to the properties in the surrounding area. The management team is exceptional and has new events for residents almost every week! The property is beautiful as they are developing it into a town center. Would recommend this to my fellow friends and family and anyone in the area. Thank you.

A complete disgrace--This place does not value their residents. Shady management style; hides behind red tape instead of righting wrongs; staff is dismissive; police called frequently; multiple families residing in single units.

As you know the new management is trying to do everything in their power to make this the best place to live. We do value our residents to the highest degree.
I love living in Paramount. It is quiet and it has everything you can think of in one place. Nail salon, California Tortilla, and they are still making it fabulous by adding a bank and even a Firebirds. The property is quite posh and every detail is amazing. Definitely worth every penny. You will enjoy living here.

Greeting, Unfortunately this was left from a disgruntled person. We take pride in providing a luxury apartment community at a market rate. Feel free to call the Gaithersburg police and ask about our community. Seldom are there calls to the police for the above mentioned.
I have just recently sold my house and needed to move into an apartment until I retired from my job in approximately a year from now. I was not thrilled about down-sizing but was excited about having a place of my own (I previously shared my house with my sister and brother-in-law). In selecting an apartment, I looked for one with an open layout, a place that allowed animals (I have 2 cats) and a place where I felt safe and there were amenities that I could enjoy. The apartment complex is fairly new and they are building another building in addition to the 2 that are already there. So, I know the development will continue to grow and will offer me much to look forward to in the upcoming year. I chose an apartment that faced the woods because my love of nature dictated a scenery that was green and lovely. When I enter my new apartment, I feel secure and a little lightheaded that finally I have a place to call my own and one which seems to suggest it is glad I am living there!

Thank you for the kind response! We try very hard to maintain a wonderful community!
This apartment complex is a nice place to live, we have lived there almost 2 years. The outside landscaping, and the decor is nice, the amenities are standard, and the staff is easy to get along with and helpful. One of the nicer places we have lived.
