Property Ratings at Spinning Wheel Apartments
What a wonderful experience we had in our short time living at 21 Spinning Wheel Rd. Amenities such as the party room and beautiful backyard, to the location next to Fullersburg Woods, I-294 and Oak Brook shopping were just so appreciated. We absolutely loved our unusually spacious, newly-renovated 2 bedroom unit with all new appliances, including in-unit washer/dryer. The oversized beautiful bay windows also added a unique touch to the space and made it feel even larger! Facing west, we enjoyed some truly spectacular sunsets! I loved watching our living and dining rooms transform in that crazy beautiful orange glow that just filled the rooms! It was always my favorite time of day! Special callout to Tom and Bill in the office as well as to Andy, head of maintenance, for always being so attentive, kind and responsive. Living here was really so enjoyable and we highly recommend it!
Responsive maintenance, nice and accessible location, quiet place, good view and lots of nature around the building, and professional staff. They actually allocated a piece of land for gardening, good community and nice residents.
I lived at Spinning Wheel Apartments for over 2 years. It is a friendly building with good maintenance. A bonus is a big outdoor space where I enjoyed a plot in the community garden. I also appreciated how well the management handled the COVID epidemic with good safety measures and regular cleaning and sanitation of communal areas. Overall, my stay here was a good experience.
...thus far. The office and Maintenance staff are awesome, very helpful during our transition, and replied promptly to our initial service request. Great location and property management. Special thanks to Tom and Bill! I love this apartment community because it offers everything I was looking for in a place to call home. My apartment is spacious, the building is quiet and secure, and I love all the amenities that it has to offer. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live.
We have lived at the Spinning Wheel apartments for the last 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Okay, maybe there was the time the fire alarm went off for too long one night, but seriously, this building is great. The people, the location, the amount of space - it can't be beat. The guys in the management office are very nice and always willing to help. Andy, the building's head of maintenance is friendly, trustworthy, and very creative when it comes to dressing the building up for the holidays and other events. There's a generous sized party room that we've used to host big events, and a garden area where we attempted to grow some vegetables. We live on the 11th floor facing the city and we’ve witnessed some of the most beautiful sunrises ever seen. We loved walking with our daughter through Graue Mill, the list goes on. If it weren't for our growing family, we wouldn't be moving. We are going to miss this place for sure. Brooks & Emily
We have really enjoyed our 6 years here. And we look forward to many more. This building is kept up very well. The snow removal they do here is incredible. They are really looking our for their neighbors. The office staff with Bill and Tom is also very responsive!! And Andy is always available for fixing anything in our apartment. I would highly recommend renting here. Bill
To find this kind of space in an apartment in Hinsdale is beyond rare! I was a resident in this building 7 years ago and loved every moment of it. I moved out after purchasing a condo nearby but after selling the condo it was not even a question of where I was going to rent again. I only made one phone call to Spinning Wheel (Hinsdale Management) and signed my lease the next day. The location is prime for getting to all major highways, the residents are friendly and respectable and the staff is top notch. Save yourself the time in looking at other apartments and make this the first and last place you will ever rent again!
The spinning wheel apartments are truly a hidden gem in the West Suburbs. After looking at nearly 10 other complexes nothing seemed to provide the same feel and spaciousness as the spinning wheel. The building felt very secure and refined. I am moving from a house to an apartment and many of the highly priced newer buildings seemed like a downgrade but spinning wheel did not. No matter how nice the amenities were, all the other options felt like moving to a cramped box amongst hundreds of other boxes. The 2 bedroom apartments here felt more akin to a house in the sky with a gorgeous view of the surrounding areas. I have gone from not looking forward to moving to being very excited about it. The other major selling point was Rita, our leasing agent and other residents who were around that day. I have learned that you can tell quite a bit about how a renting experience will go by the staff and people you meet when you visit. Rita went above and beyond to address any concerns we had. She was clearly very experienced and highly professional. Two things that seem oddly difficult to come by when renting apartments. The residents seemed friendly and to be people who you would want to live around. A couple other benefits to note are packages are delivered to your door. No Luxor to deal with. Pictures found on the internet do not do this place justice. You have to visit to understand the deal you would be getting.
We are new residents and found our apartment as we expected. The large rooms accommodated our furniture. The staff have been very helpful and maintenance has been responsive. Residents are very friendly and we have already gotten involved with bridge and book club.
Renters are unlikely to find apartments as spacious and centrally located as the Spinning Wheel. Monthly rents per square foot are extremely competitive and can include heated, inside parking. Parking outside is free. The property is clean, quiet, and well maintained. We have lived in the building for a total of 11 years in two periods. Lease terms and rules are typical of the industry.
