Property Ratings at Sprague Court Apartments
Stay away. The apartments look run down on the outside. I made an appointment with the leasing office and it wasnt even acknowledged. They person in the office will literally waste your time. I sent him a message to let him know i was there for an appointment and he responded over an hour later with an excuse but he saw my message 8min after i sent it. Poor management in the office not worth the time.
This is a very nice place to live. My unit was one of the upgraded units. Hardwood floors, renovated kitchen, spacious enough for me and my son. There are mice, but who doesn't have mice and what would you expect while living next to "woods and trees"? Mostly field mice. You just can't be nasty and not clean up your apartment; don't leave anything for them and they will not stay; just visit. ? Esther in management office is amazing! It is best to reach her by email, however, if you leave a message she will address all of your concerns. Extremely supportive. I think communication is the best way to build positive relationships and ultimately have positive outcomes. There are signs that say no playing for the children, which is a bummer, however, in my unit there are few children and they are very messy and sometimes mischievous. One of them broke a window to the downstairs neighbors apartment. This apartment is not really for someone who has more than one or two children. I have been living at Sprague for almost 2 years now and I will probably stay until I decided whether I want to buy a house. Otherwise. I stand by my 5 star review. You need a car, there are no buses that run on Belfield or Upsal street.
Me an my brother have been living here for about 4-5 years when we first moved in everything seemed fine about a week into living here we started to have issues the first issue we had was the neighbors that live above us when they would use their garbage disposal or their sink would overflow the water would leak downstairs into our cabinets damaging all of our food in our cabinets an leaking onto our microwave damaging everything down in our kitchen an leaving a big mess the next issue me an my brother found was that every time it rained outside the rain would leak inside our living room windows wetting the carpet an damaging the widow seal ledge an other things in that area i think we have had water leak into every part of our apartment including the bathroom management has a exterminator come out every month but that does not stop the mouse issue that this apartment building has honestly if you plan on living in this apartment building plan on spending at least 5 dollars every two months on sticky mouse traps a calling maintenance at least once a month for all of the things falling apart in your apartment all of this for the amazing price of 880 dollars a month plus electric you might ask why me an my brother still choose to live in such a bad apartment building well i became very sick a disabled while living here an we are waiting to my health issues are a little better before we move my review an my rating for 454 E Sharpnack St is poor dont move here unless you dont have a choice or your desperate i changed my mind dont even do it if your desperate.
The apartments are small overall, but ok. The outside of them is the best asset as there is a lot of grass and trees to sit under, and for kids to play on. Heat was included which is great, but a larger bedroom would have been great too. They are quick to send you a notice if you are even a day late. They are not so quick at fixing any problems. Overall, a place for the moment, but only that.
