Property Ratings at Spring Gardens
The mold,.water, rat infestation,.broken windows and doors make.these apartments a tragedy for those living there. The failure of management and owners to respond to local news media shows they don't care.
Unless you're looking for high crime rate and managers that allow alcoves and walkways to remain flooded with sewer water- KEEP LOOKING
DO NOT MOVE HERE. If I could give this property 0 stars, I would. This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. No matter how many times they change the name of these apartments, or get “new management”, the conditions are still the same! The good reviews for spring garden apartments are fake. There are rats in the walls that have chewed 2 holes in my wall. The roaches are ridiculous!! I have asked for maintenance to come time after time and they don’t come, it’s been 4 months since I’ve put in multiple requests. The move in specials are a trap. They give those discounts, so that they can get people in. The rent office never answers the phone. These apartments were built in 1973 and need to be demolished! This is no place for your kids, or anyone else. It’s really easy to get a lease with these apartments, because they are in crappy condition and management knows it. Save your money and sanity, go somewhere else!!
I’ve been living in spring gardens apartments for 3 months and they do nothing but lie ! Pest control never come bugs is out of control and I can really say these apartments are not worth staying Do not waste your TIME
moved in last month the staff is friendly, helpful, and the renovations are amazing i love the natural light in my apartment.
I've been here since February 2020. The good reviews are fake. Work orders are never completed even after multiple ... multiple requests. The response id we have other units we're working on we'll get to you. But 3 months has since passed and I have YET to get ANYTHING fixed. It's loud as I don't know what. Its like im at the club every other day. Sure they put in new flooring and new paint but the buckled ceilings and baseboards tell the story. I'm scared to turn my lights on in the den bc the ceiling fan doesn't go off with pulling the string and it shakes like it's about to come out the ceiling and pull a "FINAL DESTINATION" on me. I'm out of here before my lease because I pay toooooo much in rent to not come home to PEACE.
If you like bugs, roaches, loud music and yelling at night, rude and disrespectful people, police showing up quite often, or a just an easy way to get drugs... Then yes, you'll love hunters way
The review below is clearly from someone who works here. I haven't been out here a year yet and can't wait for my lease to be up. Maintenance sucks, they don't come when they say they will. They half fix stuff then act like its a problem when you check on it. I have paid less money and had way better service. Listen to what I tell you when I say... SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! DO NOT MOVE HERE.
I have been living out here for 3 years basically because it is affordable. The laundry facility in the buildings do NOT work. As a matter of fact that is where the residents store their trash and other objects. The residents don't care about the buildings, because they throw trash in the breeze way and I am constantly sweeping the area. Children run wild unsupervised throwing trash all over the property yelling, cursing, and fighting. I have heard some gun shots a few times out here as well. The swimming pole has never worked since I moved here. The inside can use some painting and it seems as if the bugs get worse no matter how much you spray. If you are in desperate need of somewhere to stay that's affordable (but they are going up on the rent) and quickly then this is your place otherwise you will be disappointed because the residents throw their trash wherever they want too, from the laundry facilities, to the middle of the parking lot and in the breeze way. Staff is usually friendly.
i have lived here for 2 years. i live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have had few issues with it. It does take a while to get hot water though. Overall, it is close to my work (Fort jackson) and rent is very cheap compared to nearby. Bus stop is also right next door, and parking space is great. I only wish that we have washers in our own unit. i always do my laundry sundays and thats when everyone else does it so it becomes a pretty long wait. Also, the pool is sometimes non working. however, i heard from staff that they are gonna fix it before summer. Speaking of staff, they can take a while to respond so i usually have to stop by the office. but they are all friendly.
I've lived here for 2 years and just resigned my lease for another year. I have few complaints. The prices are very affordable. I had few maintenance issues and if I had any troubles, they would be handled very promptly and conveniently. The staff really care about their residents and go out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. I have several children and so having a safe, secure home like I do at Hunter's way is one of my most important requirements. I strongly recommend Hunter's Way as a place to live. My only complaint is that the pool is sometimes out of order. The clubhouse too is difficult to get a reservtion.
I live here at Hunter way this place is NOT as advertised trashy,no laundry facilities in every building. The pool is NOT even filled never mind open .maintenance is a joke. A lot of kids running around everywhere no supervision. Bugs and roaches.
I hate livng here because there not worth paying the rent I pay. When pest control come it's like the stuff they put down help make more bugs come. My bathroom sink floods with water or soap water when no one's using the sink. Two of my stove eye never work. It's hard to get a maintenence man to come fix things.
My first home after leaving my parents house is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom somewhat modern day apartment. I have nice hardwood floors, spacious living room and a big closet. In the area I'm in its quiet and I'm not bothered. I'm glad I found this apartment because I believe it was just right for me and what I need. I've been here 2 years and I plan on renewing my lease again. I love my apartment, it's home for me.
