Although the name implies otherwise, beautiful East Shreveport is located about eight miles south of Downtown Shreveport. East Shreveport begins along a bend in the Red River, directly across from the Red River National Wildlife Refuge, providing locals with easy access to boating and fishing. The neighborhood is also just north of Louisiana State University-Shreveport. This wooded neighborhood is filled with parks, restaurants, shopping plazas, and is near several medical center so residents have easy access to an abundance of amenities. East Shreveport has rentals in every style from affordable apartments to large single-family houses. Highway 1 and Interstate 49 make traveling throughout Shreveport easy.

Property Ratings at Spring Lake Point
This will be my 5th year living here and I have zero complaints. Staff are fast and attentive. The property is well maintained from the grounds to the swimming pools. The 24 hour call service is a plus! If you are looking for a safe and quiet location, this is the place.
Great location in Shreveport! Grounds are always kept up and maintenance is very prompt. Nice upscale neighborhood and close to all the shopping areas. Definitely enjoy the quite atmosphere.
Been here over 2 years, moved units in February and have yet to have a maintenance resolved in less than a week. Typically takes a minimum of 3 work orders to get an issue resolved. Most recently have been fighting a 3 week battle over getting our AC replaced. Have reached out to Patrician Managements main office in Baton Rouge and was given a cop out excuse email and now can not get a return phone call.
Spring Lake Point is a great place to live. It is super “homey” and super quiet. I always expected living in Shreveport to be noisey, but Spring Lake Point is so quiet, even during the middle of the day! My neighbors are very nice, and all other residents I have came in contact with are very friendly too! In addition, the apartment complex is so close to everything! So close to stores, restaurants, I49, etc. So nice being so close to everything. Stephanie and Valorie were so helpful whenever I was touring the apartment complex and signing paper work. They made the process super easy. The only thing I wish Spring Lake Point would add is covered parking. Parking is very good, but covered parking would make it better. That is my only complaint! Love living here.
After living in several apartments I came to the conclusion that management is more important than amenities, so after all the reviews and research I chose Spring Lake Point Apartments in Shreveport. Luckily they also have terrific amenities on top of a wonderful staff, this has honestly been the best apartment complex I've ever lived in, and crazy affordable compared to other options in the area. The apartments are older, but in good shape and well maintained with nice upgrades, I had an issue with my dishwasher once and it was fixed same day. VERY dog friendly, you'll see people all day walking dogs and jogging around; and best of all is how quiet it is. At all hours of the day its nearly silent besides running AC units, I've had several friends comment on it. Never even had an issue with parking either, only reason I'm moving is to have a yard for my dogs and a garage for my truck, otherwise I would still be at Spring Lake Point.
Spring Lake Point. The rent is reasonable, everyone has dogs, and the maintenance staff are fast. Appliances and Doors are a little dated, but super clean and well taken care of. Everyone from Young families, to retirees live in the complex. Gated for security and Close to both 3132 and 49. Takes less than 10 minutes to get anywhere in town. the perfect home for those with an active lifestyle.

I moved to spring lake point in July of 2014 after viewing many of the surrounding apartments on the apartments.com website. It's conveniently located to the best stores and restaurants in Shreveport. The friendly staff is very helpful and excellent at responding to any problems or questions you may have (which are very few). My only complaint are the massive speed bumps they have set along the main road. The rooms are updated and well laid out, perfect for all residents. This is easily the nicest apartment I've ever been in.
