Property Ratings at Spring Ridge
Everything from quality of home to management is awful. The paint literally just falls off the walls. Things are fixed in the cheapest ways possible. It’s always either too hot or freezing and it’s expensive to heat/cool. There are a lot of rules for a place that’s so poorly taken care of and rent prices go up every year. This place should be priced way below what it is
This would be a great apartment for someone who really doesn't know any better. The apartments are decent size, but they are poorly insulated. The windows and doors are very drafty. Be prepared for window flooding when it rains or snows and then thaws and a hefty heating bill when it is cold out. Spring Ridge is also not the best place to be during the winter unless you have a garaged unit. Most times no plows or anything would show up until 2-3 hours after the snowfall has ended. If you are not in a garaged unit you can pretty much forget about getting your car out when it snows. My husband and I had spent many hours digging cars out just to come out to find that the snow plows had plowed us back in. And they only plow once per snowfall. Be prepared for some very slippery parking lots once the snow melts and re-freezes. BRT (the management company) doesn't believe in putting salt down on ice either. Instead they throw dirt down when they get around to it. You can count on having some very muddy and dirty carpets. The trash removal is horrendous as well. Basically it is one giant garbage bin for the entire complex of over 200 apartments. It wouldn't be so bad if trash was removed every couple of days instead of once a week. It can get pretty dicey when you have to face down racoons and other vermin just to throw your garbage away. I am embarrassed to say I paid money to live there.
