Within its borders you’ll find charming neighborhoods and historic homes just south of Riverside Park plus all the amenities and attractions west of I-235, such as the Sedgwick County Zoo. There are restaurants aplenty, incredible country clubs, expansive parks, and great schools and universities. Property Ratings at Spring Ridge Village
The headline speaks enough!! I’ve been here a month and I can’t take it ! From management, to unit , and toxic environment this place is NOT what you want! Good luck if you still decide to live at these apartments tho
It has gone downhill. Im still waiting on my lease renewal that I specifially called them about and which was suppose to start in January of this year 2020. From I see there is only one or two men who do maintaince and they don't have enough education to actually fix anything right. My kitchen faucet is screwed up and they wont replace it.The trash bin disappeared and it wasnt replaced until a month or so later. Everyone was throwing their trash on the ground because there was nowhere else to put our trash. The management is very unorganized. And sometime ups will come to deliver tenents packages and there is noone there to sign for them. They just act like they dont care but if you dont pay your rent. Oh Boy!! Actually the main reason I got on this site was to find out if they have a different phone number now so I could ask them when the next spraying schedule is. Since I called their number and it says its out of service. Im hoping I can move this year. This place is not a dependable place.
“I don’t have time to babysit, sweetheart!,” the property manager responded rudely when asked why she doesn’t answer tenants emails. If you have problems, I say read the contract. Figure it out on your own. Document everything in writing. And expect the property manager to ignore you. Problems with your apartment might take weeks (no exaggeration) to get resolved. Trying to set up an appointment with property manager was impossible; Property Manager completely ignored our request. Tried to schedule a time for apartment inspection and final payment; it was ignored. Instead, we were charged late fees! Rude/disrespectful/unprofessional P.M.
EDIT: They once offered all tenants half off rent if we wrote three reviews on three sites. Their ratings can't be trusted. Well, it's wasn't too bad when I first moved in. There was a management change and the place has since gotten horrible. In the past month, my A/C has gone out a good four or five times. It's not easy to live in a place that's 80 degree, especially when your nephew can't sleep at night because of how hot it is. Management doesn't care about any of us. Many neighbors have experienced water damage, A/C issues, and cars being broken into. One neighbor has been hung up on by the staff when she was complaining. We are supposed to be spayed for bugs every month. I can't remember the last time they came... The best part about all of this is how my rent went up even after I'd had been here for a year. If anything, it should've gone down because of the crappy service and the fact that I stayed here another year.
Never had any problems with anything in the apartment and friendly staff the neighborhood is usually pretty quiet too
Farmington is overall a great place to live. Even though there have been tie ups regarding neighbors everything is taken care of in a timely manner. It is quiet and they alow big dogs which is a bonus.
Farmington Place Apartments feels like home. It is very quiet and safe environment. I moved to Wichita for work and was unable to find housing. I came across Farmington Place and was instantly surprised at how clean and well managed the property is. The staff was very nice and helped me get settled right away. I am very thankful to have a nice place to live.
Its a friendly environment and i lived here years ago and came back we have fun functions they try very hard to keep the tenants as happy as they can
Farmington Place has been one of the best places I have ever lived. From the friendly staff to the friendly courtesy police officer, and the knowledgeable onsite maintenance, they truly know how to make you feel comfortable, safe and secure. I would recommend this community to anyone and everyone!
We moved in this year, and so far everything was wonderful. Staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the all-new appliances. It did take maintenance a while to fix the hot water in our shower, and they have yet to fix our smoke detector, but all in all, things were working out. Then our locked car got stolen out of the lot. This is an apartment complex with open, exposed, poorly lit parking lots with no cameras. We notified management. The only thing they could tell us was to let them know if we ever found the thief, in case it was a tenant. (????) A week later the cops were in the parking lot, because at least three cars had their doors opened. Car thieves (frequently) come to Farmington Place, open the doors, and leave. If, after a few hours, no one has called the cops, they come and steal your cars. Earlier this week, I met a new tenant (poor guy) whose car was one of SEVERAL whose trunks were forced open the night before. (He also had a difficult time getting management to set up heat in his apartment for him and his CHILD during the freezing nights we had this month. Go figure.) Management was "considering" getting security cameras, but, according to the tenant who has friends who also live in this area, these complexes are notorious for making promises they can't keep. When we asked if we can end our lease, because WE LITERALLY DO NOT FEEL SAFE LIVING HERE, we were told that it would cost us over $1000 to break our lease. Our car, which thankfully has been recovered, is damaged, and we are going to pay almost $2000 in damages and recovery, a fee we would not have to pay had Farmington had some sort of security system. They will not let us break our lease for free, despite the fact that a crime has been committed against us on their property, one that has wiped out almost all our savings, and they will do NOTHING to help make sure it will not happen again. Please read this and know that if you are a car owner, you will want to keep on looking. Your car (as many tenants here will tell you) IS NOT SAFE AT FARMINGTON PLACE.
Farmington apartments are a great place to live. They have a friendly staff willing to help you with anything and they apartments are all remodeled
These apartments are nice, workers are super nice also. Maintenance was really fast and doing what was asked. Although my AC is always failing. It gets fixed but 2-3 weeks later it breaks down again. My neighbors are a little cuckoo but I dont ever really see them. We're not infested in bugs but we do see some occasionally. I love how our living room is big and a grey colored carpet there's a walk way that's fake wood and it covers the kitchen the dining room and the hallway to the rooms and bathroom. The kitchens are super small and there's not a lot of space. Dining room is also small. Rooms are really nice too and one thing that I like about our apartment is that we are allowed to paint the walls whatever color we want. We don't pay for water or trash bill but do pay electric and apartment rent. So in overall I do love our apartment. It's a nice place to stay at!
Basic one bedroom. Repairs can be slow if not emergency. 15-30 minute drive to most places.
