Property Ratings at Springs at Egan Drive
I used to love living here! The original staff left here and everything changed. I feel like the office staff do not actually listen and they do not care about the residents. Maintenance is quick to respond, but repairs do not last. They came to fix the caulking around my tub, the fix lasted for 2 weeks and it is peeling again. I don't think the bedroom carpet was cleaned before moving in. The tape/mud had been peeling on the porch since we moved, we were told it was a vendor problem and it had never been fixed. The bathroom tile has been peeling since we moved in, it was fixed for about a week and peeled again. 40 to 50 percent of our parking spots were filled with snow piles, instead of suspending the towing contract, they towed two residents and will do nothing to reimburse the towing fees, telling us they have no control over the towing company- the property manager controls the contract, not the towing company! When we moved In, we asked what the policy was to break the lease as we had been house hunting, and they told us $2000 or less. I tried breaking my lease 2 months ago because I need to have surgery and having a fenced In yard to let my dog out is necessary, and was told it was $2000 plus 25% of the remaining lease. The main reason that we picked here to rent was that we were told we were allowed to park our camper in a parking spot that was out of the way in the summer so we could do woodwork in the garage in the summer. We were told that couldn't happen right after signing our second lease. When I reported my car being vandalized on their property- nothing. The fence is broken in several places around the perimeter, with spaces large enough to allow people to easily walk onto the property. I had read some bad reviews prior to moving in and figured it was simply disgruntled residents. Figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I wish I would have stuck with the other property I was going to rent with.

I would give a lower rating if I could. Management here is THE WORST. They are blatantly disrespectful (don't return phone calls, roll their eyes when you have the audacity to try to speak to them in person) and are very rude. Save yourself a headache and don't live here.
Property Manager at Springs at Egan Drive, Responded To This Review
Good Morning, We set a high standard for ourselves and our community so we are disappointed to hear that your friend’s experience with us has not been a positive one. We have a newer team here at Springs at Egan Drive and we strive to try and be transparent while providing the best possible customer service to our residents. I personally apologize if there was ever miscommunication with your friend. Although we cannot discuss another resident account to protect privacy, if you are ever in the area please feel free to stop by and we would love the opportunity to change your view of our community here. You can also call us directly at 952-222-0866 or email at egandrive-officeemail@cproperties.com. Thank you, Springs at Egan Drive Management
The property management doesn’t care how much they screw your finances. They will have your car towed multiple times. The management must be getting a kick back from the tow company. Please find somewhere else to live other than Springs.
I've lived here for 2 years now and have been pleased with the recent management and changes that have been implemented (valet trash pick up, gueat parking policy, speed bumps in summer, new resident portal that facilitates community engagements, flowers at the clubhouse in the sjmmer, water softeners). These changes have been very well received and much appreciated. You've done a great job communicating updates to us in a timely and clear manner and you continue to make our community a wonderful place to live. The location is great, amenities are clean and new, pets are welcome, and the community is diverse, respectful, and quiet. Thank you!
Property Manager at Springs at Egan Drive, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We are excited that you are happy and we look forward to partnering with you again this next year. Its residents like you that help make Springs at Egan Drive a great place to call home!
I lived here for 2 years. Looks like a nice place but do not let that fool you. They do not care about keeping current residents. The office is very rude. Rent goes up over $100 each year. If rent wasn't high enough they charge monthly for sewer, water, trash and a billing fee. The onsite maintenance team seems to have very little knowledge on how to fix anything. Everything was constructed and bought as cheap as possible. Do not waste your time and money at these apartments!
Property Manager at Springs at Egan Drive, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear this! This is definitely not what we wanted for your experience. Although we have had our challenges, we do care about our residents and strive to make this a great living experience for everyone. Please call or come by the office to discuss further. We appreciate the feedback and strive to continue to improve.
Don’t let the photos or the demo place deceive you. It’s beautiful at first until your stuck on a lease you can’t break. The price is way to high for low quality housing. The heater is in the living room and sounds like a bus station, it’s hard to hear when people are speaking or even the tv. The gates are an inconvenience and anyone can easily bypass them, the front and back gate. There’s a fence door at the back that is always open, no key needed. Some people here are nice and others aren’t. So if you are visiting a friend expect for a resident to be snobby and tell you “it’s a gated community”. As far as parking passes go, id recommend somehow getting them removed off your lease cause they don’t check and there’s always non residential cars parked in here. I’d say other than that the place is quiet and the office staff is nice. I’d never recommend this place to a friend or a stranger, because you should be paying for what you get. If you are considering this place I’d recommend to ask a couple residents about their experience first.
I moved in almost a year ago, construction is still not done. You pay full price, but the place isn't done. My move in date was changed because the building I was supposed to move into failed inspection, but no one notified me so I had to get ahold of someone there. Most recently they started construction at 6am. You are also notified of construction through a flyer being stuck in your door, either the day of or the day before. The garages are placed too close to the buildings so parking is a struggle. For the price you pay here I would look elsewhere.
Do not sign a lease until the building you're moving into has been built. I was supposed to move in in September and currently have been delayed 3 times with limited compensation. Most recently I received notice of the delay 2 days prior via email. I cannot comment on the apt as I still haven't seen it. Hopefully it's worth dealing with managements ineptitude.
