Property Ratings at Springside Manor
My family has lived at Springside for seven years. I feel I have to make a comment ,about some of the negativity on this site. The office staff, have always been respectful to me. They have to be firm, with some residents, sometime. I have only heard of them standing their ground, when some residents, like to get by with stuff. Most decent people will not have any problems. The community is very clean, quiet, and their maintenance team can't be beat! We are starting to put some of our own personality into our place, my son is older now, and I have time to do it. I like to pay my rent and be able to trust maintenance and the property to keep everything running smoothly. It gives me a feeling of security.

It's wonderful to hear that you and your family have been having such a great experience! We're grateful for all of your praise, particularly regarding our customer service. We're here for you, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything!
My husband and I have been here for just about 2 years. We first had 1 bedroom and when we first seen it, we were pleasantly surprised at the space because honestly the photos do it no justice what so ever! The apartments was nice and clean and ready to be moved into! Anytime we only had TWO times where we had to call for any sort of maintenance.. and that was because my vacuum ate a small bit of my rug. The other time was because I accidently got a penny stuck in my garbage disposal, which the maintenance staff responded promptly to! We were so happy we decided to stay after our lease was up and upgrade to a two bedroom.. we did request one with a washer and dryer and a dishwasher, and they had no problems accommodating our wants. Again, this apartment was clean and there was brand new carpeting installed right before we moved in. The staff her continues to be awesome, and their door always seems to be open to you if you need them! Its quiet clean and friendly here and the fenced area is awesome addition since we can bring our dogs there to play. Its also great that they allow you to have 2 pets here ! Oh and the best part is my light bill is SOOOOO cheap living here and that's the only utility we have to pay! This place is great for anyone.
HORRIBLE!!!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I went in to get information about an apartment and the office manager seemed superficial and the apartment policy was very subjective. I was not pleased to see that she could not give concrete answers to my questions! Also, I went back in for a second chance and the older lady in the main "lobby" rolled her eyes and said, "the guy from earlier is back again" (voice dripped in disgust). I also asked about my security deposit check and they claimed I never gave them one, implied I was irresponsible and a liar, an offered a more expensive apartment. As a disabled decorated combat veteran, I did not take this too lightly!!! UNFORTUNATELY, I still chose to move in for a temporary place to stay. It has been one of the biggest mistakes of my life! The office staff tells you lovely stories when you interview with them, but once in it all changes. I’ve been living here for 7 months and it's been nothing but problems. The heat can only be set at 75 degrees no higher, not all of the apartments are fully insulated, windows are VERY drafty, sidewalks are BARELY salted, the two office ladies are hard to contact and when you do they are EXTREMELY rude and act as though you are an inconvenience. I have a younger son living with me and I will not continue to give my disability income to a company that treats me so poorly and still remains cold in the winter. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in customer service in over 30 years. Be sure and get a copy of the lease and read it thoroughly before you sign, you will be surprised at the hidden costs that you are not told about!!! Furthermore, I also just found out I have a friend who was treated VERY poorly from them as well. They are moving out soon, but not before they were overcharged and assessed major fees. I will be reporting this to as many companies as possible and making sure people realize how terrible this place has been! Spend a few extra dollars and live somewhere else!

We are terribly sorry to hear of your experience! Thank you so much for your review and we will look into the situation. Thank you for your Residency and we wish you the best of luck in the future.
Ive been renting here the last year and a half, and I look forward to being here for a few more years! I love my place and this community. Everything about Springside manor is welcoming, from the time we walked in we felt welcome. The maintenance guys and ladies in office are great! If your looking for a good place to live, this is it! Thank you Springside Manor, i'm grateful
Have been living at this complex for 9 years, and each year it has steadily declined in quality of living, but rents continue to increase. No assigned parking, driveway has mounting pot holes, which are never fixed until spring, maintenance is slow and usually ends up as a temporary fix. Carpeting is of poor quality, my carpet was installed prior to 1991 (per the office's computer database) despite me being informed that it was new when I moved in. Kitchen cabinets have never been upgraded and are of poor quality. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The office staff tells you lovely stories when you interview with them, but once in it all changes. Despite what they tell you about no rent increases at times, hardly the case. My rent has increased by $25 every time I have renewed. Be sure and get a copy of the lease and read it thoroughly before you sign, you will be surprised at the hidden costs. you aren't told about!!!
My grandparents are living here for 7 months and it's been nothing but problems. The heat can only be set at 75 degrees no higher, not all of the apartments are fully insulated, sidewalks are bearly salted, the two office ladies are hard to contact an when you do they are rude. To expensive to wait months for things to be fixed! No rent pick up for elderly. They tell you they do but its a lie.
I just signed a new lease for my 2nd year and my rent DID NOT go up!!! The other thing that really helps with my expenses is that I only have to pay an electric bill and the apartments pay everything else with the heat included in the rent. I moved here from a house where I lived with my daughter and her husband. The office staff were very helpful in finding me the perfect location. I am in an end unit of the first floor. They listened to me when I talked to them about my needs and what I wanted in an apartment. My neighbors are friendly. The maintenance guys are great at their job and respectful of me and my things. The rooms are big and open. I have big windows in my bedroom and dining room and my cat loves to sit on the window sill and watch everything going on outside. The kitchen is just the right size for me and it's NOT a galley kitchen! This isn't really a problem for me but I sometimes hear my upstairs neighbor walking around on squeaky boards if it real quite in my apt if I don't have tv or radio on. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone.
