This place is ran by incompetent people I swear. Just do yourself the favor and do not do it. With more research and planning, you can find a better housing solution. When I first approached this complex, I thought why not? After moving in several weeks later, I figured out why I should have read the negative reviews first. It’s tacky, smelly, and full of noise disturbances.
From the moment I called the person on the other end seemed bothered by the call. She lacked knowledge of the property. The listing of the property and the research I had done overwhelmingly exceeded her knowledge base. I really wish the interaction had been better. I was in need of an apartment and ready to rent but after the lack luster performance given by the properties leasing office I’ll be taking a hard pass. Thanks but no thanks. Sincerely, disappointed potential tenant
I have been living here with my roommate for just over a year now and we love it! The big windows, the dog park, the trail behind the apartment complex, the friendly staff and neighbors, and the comfortable location has been great for us! The staff has kept on top of our maintenance requests and have been super kind and helpful, which makes dealing with any issues easy. There are, like in every place, some cons. As a result of the building being older, and refurbished as a factory, in the older sections the windows are not energy efficient and sometimes the heating/AC settings are difficult to work. That said, we will definitely be staying here for awhile!
I would not recommend this apartment building to anyone. As soon as I moved in I had several maintenance problems, including a leaking roof and an oven that didn't work. It took over a month and several maintenance appointments to take care of these issues. My neighbor was incredibly noisy and at the office refused to address the problem. There is also constantly dog feces in the hallway, which it usually takes at least a week for them to remove. I have lived in several cheap apartments in Hartford, and still got better service than I did at this place!
A converted linens factory on a quit street. We feel very safe and the amenities are great, pool, gym, and a band new dog park. The apartments are spacious and clean, brick exposure, very high ceiling. My only complaint is thin walls, you can easily hear neighbors. Regardless of that we are very happy going on 3 years.
