Property Ratings at Spyglass Apartments
We were so blessed to be able to take advantage of a safe haven here after Hurricane Michael and four years later we are all the best of friends and still part of the Spyglass/Hispaniola Family. Such care is taken to create the perfect synergy between tenants and neighbors. Everyone is so respectful and friendly! On the East End of Panama City Beach, steps from the white Sandy beaches, you won’t find a more adorable or affordable place to call home! Sunsets, Cookouts, Bicycle rides, and walking distance to multiple local hotspots, including the beautiful St. Andrew’s State Park. Thank you for choosing us to be a part of this community!
I moved into a one-bedroom apartment at Spyglass Apartments soon after Hurricane Michael, almost 4 years ago. It was a safe haven for me. I enjoyed living beside the beach and going for walks every evening. My neighbors were friendly and invited me to cookouts in the courtyard. My landlord was responsive and kept the apartment in good condition. I feel grateful that I found this apartment when I did. It will always be a special place for me. Now my family is expanding, and I am in the process of moving into a two-bedroom apartment at Spyglass Apartments. I am excited to stay and continue making memories here. It feels like I’m nestled into my own little corner of the town right beside the Gulf. It’s nice that there are restaurants, stores, and other attractions nearby, but it is the peacefulness of this place that I love so much.
2018 I lost my beautiful Condo to hurricane Michael. I was basically homeless and staying with friends. Apartments were essentially nonexistent at the time. I was so lucky to find an availability at this apartment complex. It’s steps from the beach, popular restaurants and clubs. The apartment was clean and recently remodeled. Cute little courtyard and the neighbors were great and are still friends to this day, some are more like family now. The property owners/managers are awesome people! I lived at Spyglass Apartments for 2 year until a private matter came up and I decided to move, I was gone for a year. I missed home so much and decided to move back. I did not want to buy again so I reached out to the Spyglass Apartment management and asked if they had anything available and they did … Yay! So I’m back home now in a different one of their properties and so very happy. I will never move again and now I can finally kick back and enjoy my retirement. Don’t hesitate renting here you will not be disappointed.
If you want to walk to the beach, this is it! Walk to restaurants, shops, bars, state park, corner stores, etc! Utility bills are low! Landlords care and are concerned about the community. It's an active area so it's not serenely quiet, but you won't bother other people, either. ;) So happy to have lived there for 3 years!
It may be easy to over look this place with all of the towering condo's around, but I am so glad we found it! These apartments are a quiet pace to come home to and it doesn't hurt to be steps away from the gulf! After being here for a year, I am having to move out of state for family. I could not have asked for a better landlord to work with for both my transitions coming into the state then having to move back out. Great place and great location...Im going to miss it!
I have lived in these apartments for a year and a half now and I could not be happier! Everything had been newly remodeled when we moved in so we had a very clean and modern looking canvas to start with. My boyfriend and I are both young professionals and the two bedroom we have is the perfect amount of space for a home office and all of our daily activities. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances including a glass top stove which we love and the above stove range, refrigerator and stove itself are all matching stainless steel. The light wood style flooring and off white paneling of the walls are perfect for the beach, which is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. The location is an easy walk to the St. Andrew's State Park, Schooners, Patches and the Farmer's Market behind Captain Anderson's. The property managers/owners have been so amazing during our entire stay here. Anytime we bring an issue to their attention, they have taken it seriously and responded more than fairly. Improvements to the property are always being made including a nice outdoor seating area in the courtyard, a boardwalk to the laundry room (to prevent sandy feet) and our tub was newly remodeled shortly after we moved in. My boyfriend and I moved to Florida together for a job opportunity and looked at so many lack luster places before finding this little gem. We love our home so much and it has been absolutely perfect for us!
