Property Ratings at St. Andrews Commons Apartment Homes
i’ve had more roaches here than in the hood or in any household in my entire life. I’m not sure if it’s because of the moisture in the walls (I found this out from a neighbor) or because it’s a small gap in my door. I’ve been killing roaches left to right for about five months, but the solution to that was lemon, lavender, and some other essential oils and having the pest control guy come once every two weeks. The office doesn’t really answer the phone like that but when you do go into the office, there are people in there to help. the maintenance men were short staffed for a while so a lot of things took a while to get fixed but when it did get fixed, they did a very good job. parking is very weird here. I’ve seen people cars get keyed over parking. I’ve seen people argue over parking. I’ve seen people call tow trucks. They really need to get some reserved parking. It is a lot of people that live at Saint Andrews Commons. The pool was only open for about three weeks this year If even that. they should’ve bought a pool cover that can only be unlocked by maintenance and if anybody vandalized the pool cover the cameras should do the rest of the job. There are no dog poop trash cans around that I’ve seen so people just let their dogs poop anywhere and everywhere. If you guys wanna live here lock your car doors nobody is your friend around here. They will rob you. while my car has been locked, I’ve seen people break into other people cars that are next to me because their doors are unlocked. In my opinion they need to knock down that whole gate section and just get two new gates and a security guard house in the middle instead of having three that don’t work. The towing company that they pay to come tow cars aren’t worth anything. They tow cars when they want. there are very good options rent wise. you can make up to three promises to pay your rent after the sixth and not get an eviction fee. overall, this apartment is good for very young people or older people but if you have a family or kids, I don’t recommend living here due to the roaches and mold and not having a playground plus the pool doesn’t really stay open that long.

I’ve been living here for 4 months. I had little to no issues up until recently. I was leaving for a business trip to find out that my car was broken into and my glove box was open but nothing was missing. I got back 3 days later and parked in a well lit area and I came out to head to work and once again my car had my phone cable hanging out of the drivers door and smelt like weed. I tried contacting the front office DURING BUSINESS HOURS and it went straight to voicemail. The gate only works sporadically so there is no sense of security around this complex. They claim that the premises are recorded but I don’t see any cameras. It’s getting to a point if they don’t want to buff up security measures that I might need to take things into my own hands moving forward. Honest to say I’m not renewing my lease. Please avoid at all costs

ZERO STARS!! ZEROOOOOO!!! Do not move here!! There are raccoons in the roof.. The issues was reported last year and i was advised that there was nothing they can do.. This year I have contacted them 3 times about it and they stated they would have wildlife come out.. But i watch the raccoons come out n go back into the hole in the roof on 06/03/2023 and 06/05/2023.. Also 2 weeks prior to the first date. I have taken pictures on both occasions and now will be sending them to the new stations as the property management company does not care.. The appliances are outdated. You hear gunshots often. They are requiring us to get rid of our washers/dryers because they can’t keep up with the ones that certain salts came with. The gate has been broken for over a year sooo this IS NOT A GATED COMMUNITY.. The appliances are so outdated that they are cream n brown!! The refrigerators are rusty inside. There are multiple buildings where the roofs need repairs n have raccoons living in them.. they give you 30-45 days to make a decision on weather you will move out or renew your lease instead of the normal 60 days that every complex gives.. Seems like a ploy to force ppl to stay because no other complex will hold an apt for 2 months for anyone.. There are 24 available apartments out here for a reason!! Do Yourself A Favor n find your new home somewhere else!!

This is certainly not the experience we hope to provide for our residents. I believe we resolved this when speaking earlier, but if there is anything further you need, please give me a call at 803-772-0040
I'm the type of person who always looks at apartment reviews before moving in, but also takes them with a grain of salt. Everyone's experience is different. Don't let the photos fool you. They were probably taken when the complex was first constructed. We now pay a monthly amenity fee of $65 on top of rent. Jokes on us because they don't take care of any of the amenities. Pretty sure the pool was green and gross all summer long this year. The tennis court is overgrown with weeds & cracked. The laundry facility is non existent. Car wash area? No, more like area where the complex piles up junk. The gym is slightly okay, rarely has cleaning supplies & water though. Really this should be included with the ever increasing rent charges, not piled on top of your rent, trash pick up fee, pet rent, pest fee, and all the other stupid things they charge you for. Honestly, the units aren't bad at all! However, they'll raise your rent every year without increasing the quality of the complex & services. Don't think about reporting anything to the front staff, because if you complain too much they will ignore your emails & brush off your phone calls. No cap. What I loved about this complex was the front gates because this side of town is ROUGH. Jokes on me because they haven't been operational the entire 2 years I've lived here. Not to mention, there are holes in the surrounding fencing & I've legit seen stranger crawl through the holes to walk through the complex... I bet that's the reason my neighbors have told me about their cars being broken into & their motorcycles stolen. Long story short... I can't wait to move out & find a better side of town to live on & to actually pay rent somewhere that will produce QUALITY & SAFETY & SERVICE. If you're looking at this complex... please find somewhere better for yourself. I don't want anyone to make the mistake I have.

The gates never work. Non residence strangers walk through the gates constantly. Trash is rarely picked up. They charge a $65 amenity fee, on top of rent increases, for a gym that’s never cleaned + a pool that’s never cleaned + a trashy tennis court + a car wash area that’s full of garbage. Office staff needs to be replaced with people who are accountable & productive & don’t have attitudes constantly.

We are sorry to read about your experience. We know how important a first impression is and we realize we've missed the mark with your introduction. We assure you that we're committed to providing excellent service as a team and we will certainly be looking at how we can better demonstrate that to our residents and visitors. Thank you for reminding us to always put our best foot forward.
Morgan properties has taken over management and is a joke. They’re forcing people to remove their OWN washer and dryer so they can install their own washer/dryer. They’re so focused on cutting all of trees down, repaving the lots (but not the parking spaces), and changing the exterior lights to actually update the apartments! The incompetence of the staff here is immeasurable with the fact they literally will LOSE their keys to access your apartments. I gave 2 out of 5 stars because it’s mostly safe here, but would be higher if the front gates actually worked and weren’t open literally 24/7. We do hear the occasional gun shots about once every 2 months, though. Something to think about before moving in.

Our goals is to make life easier by offering new amenities such as washer and dryers in each unit along with an upgraded internet package. I just moved into the apartment. I loved the apartment until I saw roaches! Only 2 nights in this apartment and I have been killing roaches left and right. When I called and emailed to let them know their response was that they stopped pest control in my apartment unit after the last residents left ( which didn't make sense because why stop pest control when someone will move back in eventually) but they did get someone to spray my apartment only behind the refrigerator! Why not spray down the entire apartment because they are everywhere but the main areas is the kitchen, dining room areas ( because it's beside the kitchen ), and bathroom. Roaches like moisture! On top of that when I moved in I noticed that some lights weren't working ( I had to replace the lights myself) then the apartment carpets wasn't fully cleaned still had stained on the carpets and dead roaches. they did vacuum the carpets but I don't think they did it the day before move-in. But what really topped it off is that roaches were crawling on the walls when cooking! I don't even feel comfortable walking barefoot in my house nor cooking because Im afraid roaches will get into my food! I don't even feel comfortable leaving my dog food out for them because I don't want roaches getting into their food either!

The staff at St. Andrews Commons is exceptional. Some of the best customer service of any apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. Apartments were clean. Surrounding was beautiful due to the forest. The apartment complex even held free community events. Highly recommend.

Hi, We are thrilled to hear that you think so highly of St. Andrews Commons and truly appreciate the 5 star rating. It is our ultimate goal to achieve these compliments with all of our residents. Thank you!St. Andrews Commons Management
We love living here because it is beautiful and a great size. We live in a two bedroom. The floor plan is really nice. There are two separate wings to the place. Each bed and bathroom are on separate ends. It’s our first place and has been a good experience so far. We’ve been here for three months and are happy. It’s quiet and feels safe. Management has been nice and any issues are fixed relatively quickly. There is a lot of parking and the grounds are beautiful! There is a 24/hour gym. It has enough equipment for me. Nothing is perfect, so I gave 4 stars. But I definitely suggest giving them a tour!

I would not move here at all. the day of the move in no one was in the office to assist. the unit we were given wasn't the one we were promised to get. the unit that we are stuck in has old appliances, cheap paint, and ants. the problems with the unit were not taken care of prior to moving in. instead of fixing issues, spray paint, store bought ant spray, and glue was applied. this place is not worth it and I see me breaking the lease soon to live in more suitable conditions. They will show you the new unit and give you crap. this place is horrible and unprofessional. I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE LIVE HERE!!!

Hi Trish, We appreciate your residency for all these years. Thank you for the positive feedback. Please let us know if there is any else we can assist you with.
I'm not sure which is better, the Office Staff or the Apartments themselves. It even could be the fact you have all you need right here in this gated complex. Whatever the reason, it is a top ranked community to say the least, I'm glad I decided to make it home. From the millions of questions I asked, to all the paperwork the girls here helped me do, they never once complained or became disgruntled. I always say it doesn't cost a dime to give great customer service, and here at St Andrews Commons they definitely understand this statement. Thanks Girls for making it a easy experience.
