Property Ratings at St. Charles Row
The staff are amazing people! They are very friendly and make sure we are okay. The maintenance team is also very helpful and very fast and reliable, they do not take long in ur house.
I’ve been living here for 3 years, and I will not be renewing my lease. My biggest issue living here were the HUGE ROACHES! Doesn’t matter how clean you are, you will have roaches! I couldn’t afford to move after my first year, so I had to suffer living with these huge-flying-noise making roaches. Pros: *Nicely Renovated! Looks just like the photos advertised. My unit was super nice *Very close to the Skyway Bridge *The beach is about 12 mins away *Downtown St Pete is about 12-15 mins away *Publix, Gas Stations, and the Highway is about 1-2 miles. * Office leasing staff responds in a timely manner (email them-you’ll get a quicker response) CONS: * ROACHES *AC breaks often. * ROACHES *HUGE ROACHES !

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are saddened to see your concerns and think it would be best if we furthered this discussion with you directly. Please give us a call at your earliest convenience and we would be happy to speak with you.
Just as a FEW reasons on why you should not move here: cockroach infestations, black mold, roof holes that cause major water damage, AC is out half of the time, half of electrical sockets do not work, tennis courts and other public areas are in shambles, valet trash is a joke and hardly ever shows up, pet area is infested with fleas, NOT a gated community but a place with a gate around it where you pay for the gate and gate guard that doesn’t exist, 2nd floor apartments are held up by 4x4s zip tied to rusted support poles, stairs are rotted through, multiple shootings, constant drug deals, multiple assaults, cops are out multiple times during the week, laundry facilities are only open during business hours when most are at work because of vandalism, cars get broken into all the time, maintenance is instructed to make cheapest and fastest repairs possible, office staff does not give a crap about residents, water is turned off all of the time without notification because plumbing is rotted through all over the complex, when someone moves out they do bare minimum and sometimes do not change out carpets so if you have dog or cat allergies I wish you luck, they will take every last bit of your deposit and still try to charge you more on top of that, kids are unsupervised and have set fire to a tree and throw pool furniture everywhere, visitor parking is almost nonexistent and they WILL tow, and rent increases are WAY overpriced. If you are going to have to pay an astronomical amount of rent do it in a place that you actually want to come home to. This place ain’t it.

We are disappointed to see these claims as they do not accurately portray the situation at hand and do not paint our team in an accurate light. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
I loved there for almost 5 years. Never missed a payment. I decided to recently move as the property owner has let so many things lax on property. And only fixes issues if they legally have to. This made me feel very unsafe after learning of a bunch of fire code violations that were only fixed after being forced to. After I lived I am not being hit with $380 in “extra fee” Including $150 cleaning fee. I left my apartment in spotless condition. They have to clean regardless of that. Can you Imagine if they int clean because someone else did? Plus they have to replace linoleum and carpet anyway. Clear money grab. They’ve been plagued by extremes vandalism and there hasn’t been security at the gate for years. They tried once to get the residents to willingly agree to a rent increase to bring back tue gate security. Shameful act. Avoid and don’t trust. Moving out will cost you more than you know.
They never have any of the amenities available. There will be a leak in your ceiling that they won’t fix until there is severe damage. There is no security despite that being advertised. Management is very rude and sloppy with their work. I wouldn’t recommend living here at all!

This place looks great for the money. But the rules aren't even strict as they are ridiculous. Remember this when looking. If you have someone staying with you that isn't on the lease, they cannot use any of the amenities which include the pool or fitness center. Also tell those guests to be prepared to walk. They have to park in visitor parking which is almost always full. And if you think that because this place runs your credit and you live there that you're on the lease, think again.
DON'T RENT FROM THIS PLACE! Moved out in December, still getting the run around about my deposit. First it was that it was mailed and I must not have gotten it, then it was trying to figure out why I was charged more than I was originally told I would be, then it was delayed because of staff changes at the management company, then I was told 3 months after moving and dealing with this, that I wouldn't be receiving my deposit back because the tub needed resurfaced. I have pictures of the condition of the apartment when I moved. The tub did not need resurfaced. What a scam. After months to come up with some reason to not give me my money. My original review includes pictures of my ceiling literally pouring water from a leak, hundreds of dollars of games and various items ruined but I continued to pay rent on time and didn't cause any problems but to now get this treatment and this run around over a $300 deposit is ridiculous. It is unbelievable. I lost valuables there, got the run around for months about my deposit and now they are just stealing my money. Talk about poor customer service, goes right along with there sorry excuse of a property. The manager, Dennis, even complained to me that the owner won't spend the money to get the roofs fixed knowing they all need to be. She sympathized with me, while telling me to file an insurance claim. Knowing all this you would think they would give me my deposit back without a hassle. I've contacted Goldelm Management directly, lets see what they have to say. But trust me, DON'T RENT FROM THIS PLACE, save yourself a lot of trouble.
There's misled and unparented youth roaming around our neighborhoods rebelliously every day and night. Neighbors communicate and the violation of people property and/or space are usually the hot topics amongst tenants. Tenants normally try to keep to themselves. Those tenants talking about the intrusions and thefts are actually taking the first step towards eradicating the problem. Fortunately we live in a state that has different policies in place or available that compensate those whom have been violated by crime. It espcially happens in the most prestige of communities. A little well-placed, moderate vigilance holds the key to lock that door.
a not very pleasant place to live, rats everywhere, cockroaches , Mold in the apartment, drug dealer and every day someone tries to get into the apartments to steal and and steal inside the cars make sure to read the comments of this place before moving here and also the people in the office are rude
I cried myself to sleep every night I had to stay there! The worst place I have every been. I tried to get out of my lease but I could not! The place is dirty and the staff is horrible! Do NOT MOVE HERE! PLEASE!!!
I am new to the St. Pete area and was greeted by Katrina right when I walked in the door of the community, she was extremely helpful and I am happy that I am making St. Charles Row my new home.
I just wish whatever company it is let me out my lease Quick fast in a hurry. ASAP!! Just don't feel like home or safe anymore.
No security anymore. They let anyone live there. Background checks are a joke. Place is falling apart. Unsafe and everytio f is falling g apart.
As a current and soon to be former resident. This used to be a good place to live. Until the Michelson group took over managing these apartments. The first thing they did was raise the water to a flat 90.00 a month in violation of the lease so I do not know how they can say that water is included. Neither is trash that is a 25.00 a month fee to and half the time they do not show up. There is only security some of the time. When I first moved in it was 24/7. There are drug deals going on in the parking lot now. The police are in here at least 3 to 4 times a month. Just last week someone pulled the fire alarm at three o'clock in the morning. Yeah great place to live keep looking but not here.
I moved in to St Charles Row on May ninth. Since then I’ve had nothing but service and quality of living that is well below the standard that I expected. It started before I even arrived on my scheduled move in date. I received a call the morning that I was supposed to move in when I got a call from the office requesting that I postpone my move for a week due to concerns they had about the apartment. Since I was already in a U-Haul that was not an option. When I arrived The apartment has a distinct smell about it. They informed me that all the carpets were going to need to be replaced. They were going to have to replace the stove as it was filthy. While I was a little upset this wasn’t already taken care of, I let it go. After a few days that was taken care of. Next I move on to the bug problems. My apartment was infested with every type of insect that you could imagine. They were in the refrigerator, the dishwasher, pretty much everywhere you can imagine. I experienced bites all over my body, some pretty bad. Next came the broken toilet. No big deal right? Five days it took for maintenance to even look at my toilet. Easy fix though. Now I am currently dealing with a particularly annoying issue. The thermostat on my refridgetor is broken, self diagnosed, and everything is freezing. Its been a week since I put the maintenance request in and even after 2 trips to the office no one has even been out to look at it. All my groceries are frozen solid, soda cans exploded inside and there is no solution in site. To sum it up for over a thousand dollars a month I was expecting to move into an upscale community. Instead I got good pool clubhouse, mediocre landscape and by far the worst resident services I have ever experienced.

Dear Valued Resident, We're extremely discouraged to read your disparaging comments about our community. Our staff is working diligently to provide a comfortable experience to our residents. We have an open-door policy for communication with our residents regarding any maintenance opportunities or pest control issues. We'd appreciate an opportunity to discuss this feedback with you, please contact us directly in the office. Thank you.
My wife & I were so pleasantly surprised with the friendliness we received. We plan on moving to St Pete from Louisville. Our first exposure at an unnamed apartment in Largo was so horrible. The Troll er, saleslady made us wonder if all apartments were this way in the Tampa Bay Area. But Kim and even the gate guard at St Charles make us looking forward to moving south to the great state of Florida. Kim is so professional & makes people feel welcome. It is evident she is proud of the Apartment and knows she has a great product to sell.
Moved here in November of 2014. They were just beginning their new rennovations. Updated kitchens with granite countertops and all new appliances. Beautiful hardwood floors for first floor apartments and both hardwood and carpet for second floor, which I live in. Hardly have any pest or maintenance issues, and when I did, they responded immediately. Good neighborhood, never had, or heard of any problems. Always offering great ways to meet other residents with cookouts and different events on a weekly basis. Friendly staff and reasonably priced for the area.

As regional manager of St. Charles Row I could not be prouder of this community and how far it has come from when we first started. I so much appreciate the positive feedback from residents who are happy to call this community home. The CARES Team does a fantastic job at promoting a community with activities for all ages. Stay tuned as there are more exciting changes planned!
This place is a great place to live. Everyone is friendly from the gate guards, the office staff and every resident I have encountered. There is always something going on to bring the community together. Overall I would recommend this place!
Newly renovated apartment complex in South St Pete. Gated community with 24hr guard. Two pools. Gorgeous clubhouse with media room and gym. Dog park and tennis courts! 4 laundry rooms open 24hrs. Brand new appliances/carpet/tile. Walkin closets. Pantry and linen closets. I absolutely love living here. I feel safe and welcomed by the staff. Staff are extremely helpful and know you by name. Quickly resolve any issue that arises. You definitely won't find a better complex at a cheaper price.
Kim was so nice and super friendly! I am not from Florida i am currently relocating, and she was so honest and very helpful! If this property was closer to where my job was I would definitely live there!
