Northeast Philadelphia is a large, mostly residential section of the city positioned a few miles outside of Downtown. With its abundance of affordable apartments and rental houses, the “Great Northeast” is a popular area for budget-conscious Philadelphians. The community’s most famous attraction is the Philadelphia Mills, a large outlet shopping center that also houses a major multiplex movie theater.
Dozens of public parks of every size give the locals ample opportunities to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, particularly the huge nature preserve surrounding Pennypack Creek. Convenient access to SEPTA service, Interstate 95, and Northeast Philadelphia Airport make it easy for folks to travel across town or across the country.

Property Ratings at St. Laurent Apartments
Horrible apartments, got 2 times break in in to the car in last half year, nobody the from manager side cares, security cameras doesn't help, and nobody will help you ever
Management doesn't care about nothing. Just looking to make a charge on any details. Normal wear and tear charge. Rats and roaches everywhere. Expensive and not worth it. Worst place to live, especially at basement apartments. Exhaust from cars gets inside, old windows can't help to prevent cold, dust or smell from outside. No car parking at night, no playground for kids.
I can hear every sound of the neighbors. When the neighbor downstairs does laundry , my apartment shakes. Garbage is collected at 5 in the morning, it is impossible not to wake up from that sound, the windows are quite thin. Lying on the bed, I feel the vibrations from the cars on the road.
To determine whether you are a good prospective tenant, they have a third party review your information and give you a score, and if you don't meet their minimum, then they don't approve your application. Period. They will not accept disputes. Just a fair warning before anyone else gives them an application fee, if you're not a squeaky-clean prospect, you do not have a chance. Otherwise, the location was very nice and quiet, the unit was very well put together, and the property manager was very professional.
The property is cheap. It’s renovated, but the renovations start falling apart in a few months because the building is old. The management was ok, and maintenance was timely when I lived there. But I didn’t hear from the management since I moved out over 2 months ago. I called them multiple times, left messages, sent an email… nothing back. Over $1000 is too much to hold for this long.
Happy I moved here, Great staff and great living here
