Northeast Philadelphia is a large, mostly residential section of the city positioned a few miles outside of Downtown. With its abundance of affordable apartments and rental houses, the “Great Northeast” is a popular area for budget-conscious Philadelphians. The community’s most famous attraction is the Philadelphia Mills, a large outlet shopping center that also houses a major multiplex movie theater.
Dozens of public parks of every size give the locals ample opportunities to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, particularly the huge nature preserve surrounding Pennypack Creek. Convenient access to SEPTA service, Interstate 95, and Northeast Philadelphia Airport make it easy for folks to travel across town or across the country.

Property Ratings at St. Regis Apartments
They turn off the water or electricity in the entire complex of every unit for “maintenance” at random. Some days you will get a weeks notice other times a day before. Not even an email always it could just be a paper left on your door and the next day your water won’t turn on. The same for the electric. They will turn it off for the entire working day and for seniors they cannot have their medical devices plugged up, have to make arrangements to be elsewhere, and the implications to health is worst. For work from home tenants they have no way to not be uprooted and displaced. This happens OFTEN. Everything is under the guise of “maintenance” because when they replaces the elevators in each building it took them over 12 weeks to not have them installed but to have them operational. During that time disabled and elderly people again are forced to walk to other sides of the property to get upstairs, take steps or carry heavy groceries and equipment alone at their own risk. More maintenance…their used to be trash shoots for tenant they got rid of them and all tenants are forced to walk all the way to the end of their parking lots and haul their trash in dumpsters guarded by 10ft fences. No matter the weather conditions this is what has to be done. Again for elderly people they can’t do that and so often times they are left just leaving it in the hallway overnight in some cases which attracts rodents. The parking situation was great for a while here until people started stealing catalytic converters, strangers started parking in the lot without a permit and spaces became scarcely available. They gave us all new passes but still some people who didn’t receive them got towed. The balconies are deteriorating, the entire building is old. Walk up and down the hallways and see the eroded drop ceilings, the stained teal carpet and old damaged door dreamers as well as the dying plants in the lobby and outdated pictures from the 80s on the wall. Again with maintenance now they have most recently started painting the walls and installed new fire security doors. These doors are industrial, heavy and are likened to prison doors. The units themselves are all outdated. Old wooden cabinets where mice and rodents can easily get through and have a field day. St Regis is an old Altman property that is constantly under “maintenance” at the inconvenience of its tenants and continues to raise the rent and make it more difficult for everyday people to live comfortably,
I have been living at this apartment for 4 years now, and the place has been an ok place, but lately is been horrible living here. You can find mouses everywhere, the management doesn’t care for nothing. They towed away one of my cars and when I called them for a refund because I had the tag in my car, they said that at contract is a specific place to keep the tag and guess what everyone keeps it at the mirror in the front in a visible place. I do keep at the same place at the other car but they decided to take away just one. And if you have an issue they don’t care anymore. I do not recommend this place to live. Do yourself a favor and don’t rent any of their apartment.
The only thing that is nice about this complex is the property manager & her assistant. Otherwise, the building is filthy. The carpets in the hallway need replacing, the walls need painting, the roofs of some of the balconies are falling down to the point that it is not safe to sit out there. Leaks everywhere. Mice everywhere. Just disgusting. The building is old and band-aids are just not getting it any more. The building needs an overhaul.
Would not recommend it to anyone. They are dirty, every sink in the house leaks and i mean every apartment leaks because i have leak stains basically in every room. They get you with fees out of nowhere and their maintenance team they’re just don’t maintain anything. Called them for a leak in the bathroom took them three weeks to come out and still never fixed it. Its still leaking to this day. Not only they didnt fix the leak but they broke the sink and left and it just goes on and on and on. Just dont live here
We moved to St Regis in June as my husband needed an elevator building. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom plus den apartment is large with LOT'S of storage space. We have a huge balcony with plenty of room. The apartment was spotless when we moved in. The building is quiet and the neighbors friendly. The grounds are nicely landscaped and spacious compared to other complexes. We plan on staying here for a long time!
As I remember the first time I came to St.Regis for a tour my initial thought was how very welcoming the office ladies were. The application was simple and I was delighted to get the news that I was approved to move in. The apartment was spacious and the closet space and balcony is what sold me. The pool is what my son was most excited about so it was a win win move for us both. However, The best part of the move is that my son was able to attend the #1 Phila public school for these 4yrs. School district is key in a move when you have school aged kids. I loved everything about this move and I will miss it here. My son has made friends at school as well as some children at the apartment too. He has had a well rounded experience of going to a great school and coming home to a comfortable home. Whenever there were any issues within the apartment I knew it was just a phone call away to be repaired. If it wasn't for my growing family I'd stay as long as possible. ALL of the staff are FRIENDLY! They say hello to you even in passing when they aren't on the clock. If you had a rough morning heading out you'd be greeted by a warm and happy Good Morning! Sometimes that's exactly what you need to start your day, good authentic vibes!
I have lived in St. Regis since May of 2016 and I am very happy with my apartment. The staff are so nice, helpful and always available. The Maintenance team is wonderful same day service and things are always fixed. I love my neighbors on my floor. I have recommended St. Regis to my friends,
Not a bad word to say about St. Regis! Between the magnificent management team and the extremely skillful maintenance team I simply can't think of a single reason why I'd ever leave. Asides from the friendly staff, the location and grounds make coming home each night a delightful breeze. I would highly recommend St. Regis to anyone and everyone!
I have been living here at this apartment community for 12 years now. This Community provides spacious rooms, your choice of 1 or 2 bathrooms and patios ir balconies. The laundry facilities are close to the apartments and that's always a PLUS. I also really the enormous closet space this apartment community provides. When you come to St Regis I always say....... "Welcome Come".
MY APARTMENT IS A VERY QUIET AND FRIENDLY PLACE TO LIVE. THE OFFICE STAFF MADE ME FEEL LIKE FAMILY THE MOMENT I WALKED INTO THEIR OFFICE. THEY ARE VERY LOVING AND FRIENDLY AND CARING PEOPLE. I HAVE ENJOYED LIVING HERE FROM DAY ONE.. THE BUILDINGS AND APARTMENTS ARE KEPT CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITION. IF THEIR IS A PROBLEM , THEY WILL GET IT FIXED OR CORRECTED RIGHT AWAY. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS QUIET, CLEAN . AND FRIENDLY AND SAFE.
I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. My apartment is very spacious. I have a nice sized patio that I sit and eat breakfast on every morning. I have a picturesque view of the pool from my bedroom window. I have spacious walk in closets in both bedrooms. I have large linen closets in my bathrooms. Very nice apartment
The Boulevard as most people in Philadelphia call it is a blessing and a curse with hundreds of cars passing every hour of the day. My building is less than a block from it but you'd never know because it's peaceful and quiet and sheltered here. Ample off-street parking in a well-maintained lot with actual trees and lights keep my car safe. The staff is courteous and quickly responds to maintenance issues. There is a large pool in a central courtyard, laundry facilities on every floor, secured entrances and mail boxes inside. Large closets, a variety of floor plans and clean hallways make this escape from the Boulevard a place to enjoy coming home to.
