Property Ratings at Star Beltway 8 Apartments
I've lived here 2 years and now I'm moving out due to work and because I need a gym. I can do an honest review so please take your time to read this. I'll make it simple. Pros: Secure. 2 years and no incidents. 1 person got their window broken a year ago and management was quick to raise the alarm and look for the culprit. Super Pet Friendly. The maintenance guys are some friendly guys from el Salvador who have been doing this for 20+ years! (Props on their friendliness) Always have hot water in my Apartment. Every time I've needed maintenance they come around in a week or so to fix whatever the problem is. In my area (Near the open parking lot , Building 5) all my neighbors are family and/or professionals. Great location next to a quiet street. The air conditioning broke down only once and they fixed it 3-5 days. They have laundry area which is 85% in working condition. Cons: A little expensive for the Sq ft. Most apartments have carpets which is not very good at keeping insects away. Roaches can appear if you don’t clean your kitchen correctly but then again what apartment complex in Houston doesn’t have them? They have a very NICE pool, but you can't use it because it's always closed. Good luck in your search!
I have been in this property for almost 2 yrs and I couldn't be more pleased with what I have and how the staff has treated me. They have been more than just staff for me, they have helped me through out all my difficult times in my life. I am currently separated single mom who moved from Ohio. I moved to be closer to my family and my new spouse at the time but as time passed by I found my self working more and had less time with family and new hubby was starting to steer off. Long story short I was left by my hubby for so many wrong reasons and left to care for my self and my child. I am so great full to the staff and the manager for working with me and being such a great family to me and my child. I highly recommend this property and their staff to anyone. The establishment is Great!!!!! Goooo FoxBoro Apartments
I left the nest in the summer of 2014. I got an apartment with my spouse. With the lack of rental history and not very high income between us, we wanted to find a decent-looking and affordable apartment. Although the area itself is a little run down and South Drive is a little infamous, Foxboro stands out compared to the surrounding apartment complexes. They do an excellent job with the upkeep. There is an entry and exit gate which both require codes. They are always functioning which adds to the security. Each resident gets one free covered parking place. Unfortunately due to this, this leaves very few uncovered parking spaces for guests or households with multiple cars. So if you have a party, most likely your guests will have to park on the street surrounding the apartments. The only major set back I have found about the apartments are all of the stray cats. Sometimes you will find them sitting on top of or under your car. They sort of give the apartments a rotten smell. Other than that, management is excellent. If there is a maintenance service needed, you can go to the Resident's Corner on the apartment website and do a request. Dorothy requires that the request be fulfilled within 24 hours which is a BIG PLUS! The apartments are pretty quiet. I don't see a lot of people hanging in the day or night time. I don't hear any kids making noise. Most importantly, the rent can be paid online which was very important to me. I am not a fan of money orders or paying at the office. I prefer to have everything taken care of online. I will also note that I have not had any issues with roaches or pests. What a rare find lol! They are very good about pest control, so much that they will come and do a mandatory extermination every few months or so. We even had a bed bug issue and the apartments took care of it for free immediately. Overall my 1.5 year stay at Foxboro has been a positive experience. It has been a wonderful way to experience independence and being on my own for the first time.
Foxboro is very well maintained and forward about expectations concerning the units. There are descent grocery stores within five minutes of the apartments. The area is surprisingly quiet considering it is so close to two major highways. My only concern is the operating procedures of the utility company that is attached to Foxboro. you won't get a bill for two months and the company expects you to pay that balance at the end of the lease.
There are no beautiful landscapings that will take your breath away; are endless views you can capture in your memory... the grounds are kept. No place in this one room that one could say it's a favorite place where I can sit and gaze... The only view that I can see is that of a plain building across the way. No court yards for lovers to sit and cuddle, no view from the windows for the moon to shine through... I'm packing as I send you this wonderful review of the place where I'm leaving because there's no moonlit view.
