Station 40 has been a great apartment for my move to Nashville. It’s close to the city and work plus there are plenty of restaurants and local places around the apartment to go.

The layout of my apartment is excellent, especially the walk-in closet off the bathroom and the ample cabinet storage space in the kitchen. The rental rate is somewhat high but competitive compared with other apartment buildings with similar amenities. I love the dog park and the workout room!

The overall experience at station 40 is average. The office members are not friendly, but the residents are! The dog park is very nice for people to use and enjoy, and the trash collecting services are handy. The pool is nice but it’s always freezing so not a lot of people get in, and the fire alarms go off all the time.

The speed and efficiency of the maintenance here is one of this building's biggest selling points, in my opinion. I especially appreciate the clear and understandable explanations of the maintenance crew -- about what the problem is, how it needs to be fixed, and what I need to do in the future. You guys are great.

The living space is reasonable with the price. Amenities are excellent especially the gym because it has many equipment. The unit has a high ceiling and lots of storage cabinet.

Station 40 is a great community to be a part of. The leasing team makes the process easy and helped me every step of the way. I enjoy all the amenities that are provided like package delivery, the pool, gym, coffee machine, pool table/poker table, and an added bonus of dogs and cats to pet:)

Hello, Thank you for your kind words, and happy you are having a positive experience!
The previous management was great, understanding, and professional. This management is not as clear and work orders are not completed in a timely manner. I have lived here for almost two years and love the location.
Too noisy, and building was not built with consideration of people living under others. Too thin and not enough cushion to prevent it sounding like the person above you is about to fall through the floor
I’ve lived here for four years and I love it!! Best value and safe location in Nashville! You get that suburb feel while being close to downtown
i'm mixed on my stay here, the property has been great. but i've had 2 maintenance issues, one reaching 105degrees in my apartment and took over a month to get resolved couldnt have been handled worse.
Multiple management personnel have quit since we've been here and have acknowledged how bad it has been working here. The maintenance team has quit I think there may be one person left to service the entire building and it is showing. The apartment is not worth the cost. The amenities around the building haven't worked/been repaired/available for months to over a year but they are painting decorative squares as a priority. There are mold issues and pest issues. I have personally killed multiple roaches in the stair well. It is never cleaned. I’ve seen peoples dog straight pee in the stair well and not clean it up the stains have been there for years. The package system is trash. That’s one of their supposed improvements but all they have done is make existing amenities smaller and left a huge whole behind the package system. The delivery people just throw packages on the ground resulting in packages being stolen. The elevators have been making beeping noises for over a year and no one seems to be able to fix them. The garage doors are always broken. Which is a major safety issue because we had multiple car break ins. The doors are not secured they have been broken for over a year. The call boxes that are hooked to you phone never work. They can’t fix that either. They let people stay living in the apartment complex even after they almost lit the entire building on fire. They had a flea infestation in the garage because the office staff was feeding stray cats which resulted in multiple dogs living here having flea issues. It was only addressed because someone finally called headquarters. The dog poop areas are always over filled and have no bags which results in people not picking up after their dogs. The dog park code the old one still works and people that live in the surrounding neighborhoods and condos share that with their friends resulting in random people with their aggressive dogs coming into the park all the time. They need to put a key fob on the entrance of the dog park to avoid random people coming in knowing the codes. They don’t communicate anything. There was supposedly a gun shot fire through the complex into another persons apartment never addressed, the updates to the building are never shared or why it’s delayed, the flea issue was never put out until a bunch of people started calling the office, zero communication happens from office staff to residence other than your reminder to pay rent on time.

Great staff and location. Prices are reasonable. Walkability is great
Don’t be fooled. The management team incentivizes 5-star reviews here and on other rating platforms. I’ve lived at Station 40 since 2017, and it was good until this management company took over a year ago. It’s a good location to West End and downtown, but that’s about it anymore. Management simply does not care about maintenance until it affects them personally. The leasing office was infested with fleas, and they swiftly treated it and replaced the carpet. Meanwhile, one neighbor was without hot water for over a week, and another is currently without AC and waiting to break his lease in a couple of days (14 days in Tennessee). The elevators have been malfunctioning for three months causing an alarm to sound every 20 seconds. I work from home and it’s a disruption to both that and our sleep. I reported a leak in my apartment five months ago and am still waiting for their “third party” to show up and fix it. There has been a big increase in car break-ins due to the frequent gate access issues. And just to give you another idea how seriously they take maintenance, the health department had to temporarily shut down the pool. The staff who quit genuinely seemed embarrassed for how bad things have gotten here. It seems like most of the problems are at the district level where they spend more time coming up with excuses instead of solutions. A couple of outgoing staff told me about favoritism, pay, and bonus issues causing maintenance staff to quit in the middle of their shift. Another sign of poor management. If you tour the facility, they will brag about the renovations taking place in the courtyard and office area. That’s been ongoing for several months, but little work has been done recently because of “contract disputes” as one employee put it.
I really love the location, amenities, and my unit. Being on the top floor, I was surprised to discover a major bug problem this spring after I had already resigned my lease for another year. They come in from the ceiling vents. It was handled in a “it is what it is” sort of way that made it clear this issue won’t be resolved next spring either. I’m bummed because I loved my apartment and living here but I won’t be resigning my lease knowing I’ll have to put up with hundreds of bugs again.
I have been enjoying my time living at Station 40, but lately, and I know a lot of maintenance is being done, but Station 40 doesn’t seem very clean. The carpet in the hallways need to be clean. I came home yesterday and there was trash scattered all over the hallway outside my door.
Poor communication and poor appliances for the price
The community has been great. The attention to putting in emergency work orders have been aweful! Put in a work request Monday the 12th and I still don’t have air conditioning. And this is the second time this has happened in the 2 months I’ve lived here. The communication for the first 9 days has been abismal
Living here has been the best decision I’ve made. I love the amenities, the community and the ability to have such an amazing apartment that I can really make a home.
I have been extremely satisfied with everything about Station 40! I’m very pleased with this living environment!
Station 40 is a great place to live! GREAT location, amenities, and clean/updated apartments. The community feels safe and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Monthly rent rates are competitive compared to a lot of what is out there right now, which is a huge bonus!
I have always been pleased with this management team. They genuinely understand the importance of good customer service.
Overall station 40 has good quality living spaces and a great location. Could use a few improvements but I do enjoy living here.
The new management team is very attentive and shows care for residents, which I greatly appreciate. The big downsides are that the building was cheaply made so noise is worse than in other buildings at the same price point, and that self expression on the outside of your apartment is not allowed (door mats, flags, wreaths, holiday decor, etc).
Excellent amenities, professional, and friendly staff. . Beautiful apartments homes. Upgraded appliances.
The facilities are very well maintained and come with great amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood is great.
My experience at Station 40 has been very positive, and I’m extremely satisfied. I feel so comfortable in this community. This is a great living environment with an amazing leasing staff!
If you are looking for a place to live in Nashville come check out Station 40. It is a wonderful, quiet, and clean community. The staff is so friendly and helpful with anything you need! The amenities are also great; the pool, green space courtyard, gym and much more! They even have a guest suite room that you can reserve for family or friends visiting- huge plus. So happy to call this place home!
Very clean and quiet community, very friendly staff, respond to you and help your needs quickly, love that they love animals and there are dogs everywhere. I would recommend this complex to anyone!
I love all the facilities at Station 40 as well as the cleanliness. The location is perfect and there are lots of great places to go in walking distance. Maintenance has been taking awhile to get to requests including insect spraying. I have had frequent issues with bugs starting from when I first moved in until I bought my own repellent and sprayed it all over my apartment. When I asked for someone to come spray for me before I resorted to buying my own, the man came in, sprayed a couple places, and was out 2 minutes later. The bugs still came back after his visit so I bought my own supplies.
Its fine. I do think front office is courteous and helpful
The staff is very friendly and professional. They always make me feel comfortable
Great place to live. I feel comfortable and safe living here. Great amenities and great staff.
New resident at Station 40 and I love it so far. Office team is on top of everything. We worked with Jordan and he is excellent! Looking forward to a great stay here!
My Fiance and I had a TERRIBLE experience with the rental staff. They were misleading, rude, and difficult to work with the entire rental process. They mislead us multiple times- saying that we qualified for a discount or that the apartment had certain features, only to back track and deny these statements later at the last minute. We got very lucky and managed to find a much much nicer apartment for the exact same price. My advice- learn from our mistakes and go look for a better apartment in the first place!

We appreciate your considering our community and apologize for any miscommunication during your application process. We value honesty and transparency and are using your experience to review our systems for accuracy. Our team is available if you would like to discuss these matters further with us directly, and we are happy to hear that you found your ideal apartment in Nashville.
Don’t apply to Station 40 until you’re entirely sure you’re living there or don’t mind wasting nearly $400 on an application!!! My boyfriend and I decided to apply before visiting to expedite the process and both paid a $60 non-refundable application fee (as expected) on top of a $250 “admin fee” that was not listed as non-refundable (we called the leasing office to confirm and kept a record of it). When we decided on a different complex after visiting, we were told that BOTH our application fees and the admin fee would not be refunded, despite the admin fee not being used to place a hold on an apartment or a deposit of any kind. If we had had ANY idea that we would have been charged an absurd amount to even apply, we would have never bothered. The leasing team was completely inflexible and I’m incredibly glad we decided not to live here, as their lack of transparency and customer service is a clear indication of the treatment we would have experienced as tenants.
I love the community and events. It was a quiet community compared to other locations in Nashville. Lots of food in walking distance- excited for the ?warehouse? to be finished!!
I had a great experience here- it has been better than any other luxury apartment that I have lived in; in Nashville. I think the cleanliness of the building was a huge shock to me. Seeing people clean every day was a really great thing. Most places do not care. I also am native to Nashville and the area is so great it is in the perfect location right in the middle of a neighborhood yet downtown is four miles away and there is great food and shops all around
