A suburban neighborhood about 15 miles from the heart of Denver, Gateway is a commuter-friendly neighborhood that gives its residents easy travels into the Mile High City. Just north of Interstate 70 and a few miles southwest of the Denver International Airport, Gateway is a premier spot for frequent travelers. Gateway houses winding residential neighborhoods with cozy homes and walkable streets.
One of the neighborhood’s greatest perks is its proximity to the Rock Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, filled with beautiful lakes, grasslands, and woodlands that’s home to more than 300 species! Residents of Gateway love the easy access to Denver while still getting to appreciate what makes Colorado so incredible – its natural appeal. Residents can also enjoy neighborhood areas like Parkfield Lake Park, offering an indoor recreation center, athletic fields and courts, picnic areas, an amphitheater, and walking trails along the lake.

Property Ratings at Station A Apartments
The staff is amazing and helpful in every way. Jessica helped us find the perfect home to fit our needs. There always something exciting happening.
I am currently a resident here at the Station A Apartments for a couple of months now, I always seem to have inquiries and every single time Kailey is there to assist me. She’s amazing and always goes above and beyond to make me feel like I can always count on her with any concerns within my residency. Station A is always doing something for their residents as from food trucks to entertainment to even having treats for grabs! I haven’t been in a community that goes above and beyond for their residents and I believe that is the key to a great stay! Thanks to all the amazing staff! I am happy to be here and I know for sure I can always count on the staff. I want to give a special recognition to Kailey she’s always been so helpful, and her positive attitude is always so contagious. Having great staff who helps with any situation surely does have a great positive impact. I am happy to be residing here at Station A!
Property Manager at Station A Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your kind words! This review means the absolute world to our team. We cannot express our appreciation enough!
When I first moved here from out of town, Kailey and Wendy were super helpful getting me set up to move in! Every time I needed help with anything or a work order, the staff has always been super helpful! It’s a clean community and will stay here as long as I can.
From the ladies in the office to all the neighbors I’ve met living here, everyone is very friendly and warm. It’s a comfortable space and a great way to make community if you just moved to Colorado
Love the location, and layout of the modern apartments. Staff is also amazing and works hard to address issues that arise. Kaylee is especially wonderful, as she always knows the kids and is super sweet to them, and not just my husband and myself.
Staff is always helpful. Would recommend to anybody to live here.
Nice apartments !! We love staying here. Kailey & Wendy at front desk are awesome and very helpful
Station A Apartments has been one of my favorite places to live. The pool and fitness center are well maintained, as well as the property overall. Units feel large, spacey, and modern. Property staff, especially the woman in the leasing office, ensure residents are happy and feel right at home. I’ve been very happy with my move to Station A!
I love the location close enough to the city for entertainment but far away enough for some peace and quiet. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is pretty new and the lazy river is cool. Only negative thing I could think of is no elevators but not a huge deal for a 3 story apartment building. All in all 4 out of 5 stars.
I've lived here for 3 years and can honestly say I love my apartment. It's wheelchair accessible and the perfect size for a couple without kids. We enjoy walking around the lake. It's a very pleasant atmosphere with enjoyable common areas. Rose in the office is a gem! Highly recommend living here. As long as we live in Colorado we won't be living anywhere else.
NEW We absolutely love living at station A. It’s where resort living meets the mountains. Not only is our apartment beautiful but so is the communal areas. We even have a lazy river! Anytime I have ever needed assistance the office staff has gone above and beyond! Rose is an exceptional manager she really cares about fostering a sense of community. I recommend station a to anyone looking for a place to live in the denver metro area
I have been a resident for almost a year and I love how the leasing office hosts fun things for families throughout the year. They keep the activities fun and fresh. It’s a nice place to live; peaceful and well maintained.
Overall station A has been enjoyable for the first few months of living here. There are great amenities and Kailey has made me feel very welcome! She is always checking in and making sure everything is going good whenever I see her! Very quiet area and building that I live in. There is a nice little pond to walk around with great views. Only annoyance is finding parking sometimes.
I love this community, so far I’ve been so happy living here. If there are any issues what so ever the staff are quick to solve the problem.
I recently lease an apartment at Station A. After looking g at a number of other complexes. The friendliness of Kailey and the overall cleanliness of the complex were big selling points for me. Kailey really made the leasing process a easy worry free experience. After move in I did have a problem with my mailbox key, however the staff were very attentive and corrected the issue quickly without questions or any further issue. Additionally the amenities offered are some of the best I saw during my recent apartment search. I have already recommended this complex to a couple of friends and will continue to do so for anyone looking for a great apartment community.
For the first time in a very long time, I feel right at home with Station A at Gateway Park. I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant to move in here after reading some of the ominous reviews some disgruntled residents of the past had left - such as the home break-ins, car thefts, property damage, lack of security, etc. However, I've been living here in this community for over two months now, and I love it here. I love the amenities - especially the lazy river and VR arcade room! The gym is superb with extended hours. The lake next to our complex offers a clean trail to jog around and eclectic wildlife to set our sights on at anytime of the day. The STAFF is incredible and hard working. The manager Tess is sensational and is quick to not only handle any issues we bring forward, yet follow-up afterward to make sure everything was taken care promptly (to date, I've only had one issue with my dryer not stopping after the timer went off, but that has since been resolved). While free electric charging for EV's aren't provided here, the Hampton Inn & Suites hotel is a 5 minute walk and provides free electric charging. All in all, I couldn't have picked a better place to call home and my safe haven while the rest of our country looms on a recession and is suffering with increased crime and violence. Move here. You won't regret it!!!
Honestly I love this place! The staff is so helpful and friendly! I definitely recommend living here!!
Buen lugar para vivir! Bonitas amenidades, muy tranquilo para toda la familia, es seguro y el personal es siempre atento y amable, dispuestos a ayudar y a resolver cualquier problema
Terrible property and staff. They are horribly irresponsible, a simple maintenance request will take weeks. They preach “smoke free property” yet the maintenance staff rides around on golf carts smoking cigarettes and throwing them all over the property. The women in the office are so unprofessional and extremely rude. And they make personal relationships with tenants outside of work. They messed up my lease renewal literally 5 times before they had the correct details. The gates never work, they literally are broken every week. There was recently a shooting right outside of the gate. Two people shot and 1 killed, not a word from the complex about it. You’d think they would send out some kind of community email. If you can, avoid this place at all costs. They are a joke.
The staff and management has consistently been available, responsive and kind. The property is well maintained. Service requests have been taken care off within a very reasonable time, and taken care of properly. This is a great place to live. I would recommend if to anyone!
Whatever you do stay away from this place!! Cheap build, ridiculously thin walls. Not worth the money. The complex is near the interstate and has constant noise, not to mention the goose infestation. The walls are so thin you can hear your down stair neighbors phone on vibrate. Im losing money by ending the lease early because the experience has been that bad. The management team will quote you one rent price, but you end up paying a couple hundred dollars more a month from hidden fees. Seriously go somewhere else, you will be happy you dont live here.
This place is not as they make it appear. There are car break ins nightly, and they claim to have security. I have never once seen security at night. (I work 2pm-2am so when I get home I dont see them, EVER.) Also their keywords to the gate rarely work, same as the door code. So that means you're stuck outside the gate till somebody let's you in. I am actually breaking my lease 8 months early because I just can't stand it here anymore. End of story, not worth the money you pay whatsoever.
We love the convenience of living here. We are in Denver, but we dont feel we are in the city. The floor plan of our 2 bedroom apartment is absolutely beautiful with stainless steel appliances and very tasteful fixtures. The grounds are kept clean and very well manicured. Any issues are handled promptly and treated with respect. We love living here and the views are beautiful. As long as we are in the Denver area, this is where we will stay. We feel safe in our community.
Was excited to live here despite bad reviews regarding the service requests/team, and unfortunately, they proved to be true. Some service requests went well over a month without being acknowledged and some were even marked as completed when nothing was changed or fixed. They gave us a pamphlet about 48 hour fix guarantee or rent free living until the request is done, and when we asked about it, they told us it was on hold due to COVID since March, but failed to tell us that during the tour in June. And its especially frustrating to be walking around the property seeing service members doing donuts in golf carts/not doing anything at all when Ive had multiple service requests take weeks/months to get taken care of and the excuse is always busy and backed up due to COVID when that quite obviously isnt the case at this point. I love my apartment, but the service is subpar and now were supposed to be bringing out own wipes to the gymthings that we were told were provided during the tour.
This place isn't perfect, but pretty close. Any issues I've had have all been resolved. Great staff, and I really love my apartment
I’ve had a wonderful experience with Station A. I was living in Virginia and could not spare the time to come out here and do some apartment shopping. I went on-line and found a few that I liked; however, Station A really seemed nice and was a great location for my work. I called and talked to Rose – she was incredibly helpful and told me a lot about the apartments she had available. She was even willing to do some videos if I wanted. Based on my needs, we chose an amazing apartment! From the day I moved in (right before lockdown), I’ve loved it. Lots of light – which makes me happy! Everything in the apartment is beautiful and I’m lucky enough to have a view out to the pond and all the local birds and turtles, etc. Maintenance has been prompt and they’ve done a fantastic job. The office staff is also incredibly helpful. I’m just sad that COVID has made it difficult to go in just to have a chat! I’ve lived in many apartments and even have owned a few homes. I’ve got to say, however, that this is one of the nicest places I’ve lived. I would recommend it highly!
LOVE the apartment and staff has always been really nice! Maintenance requests have been addressed promptly. There are some questionable people in the area as there have been a lot of security issues with break ins of apartment property as well as personal property, but they have responded well and have begun implementing security measures such as cameras at the gate and mailboxes! Hopefully this will diminish future occurrences and more security measures will be taken in the future if needed!
I really like this community and will recommend it to my friends.
My car was stolen in July 2019 from a parking lot in front of one of the buildings in a broad day light. The gate into the apartment complex was broken and wide open during that time for over a month. Nobody cared to fix it. The management did absolutely nothing and couldn’t even find anything on their footage from the security cameras that are installed at every entrance. High crime all around this apartment complex, particularly in areas such as Aurora and Montbello. Just do you yourself a favor, and research the area before moving here. People who live in my apartment complex think it’s OK to throw trash on the ground and leave their garbage bags around the stairwell. Constant pot smell in the hallway. This is by the worst place I’ve ever lived in.
Great place to call home!
They are not a community. It is an apartment nota home. The best part for me is price and a garage. If I could give my thirty day notice I would. Only 13 months to go.
I do not recommend living here they used to keep the halls clean it looks so run down
Beautiful apartments with modern interior design. The area is nice and secure. The staff members, including Rose are always available when needed.
Worst maintenance and poor over management
Been here about 10 years. You are a great management team.
Very nice apartments. Very nice setting. Great location. Great onsite management team.
Resident for almost two months now, loving it so far! Nice tucked away place to call home for awhile.
All my services requested from maintenance have been excellent! #1621
Great experience with Vanessa at Station A living in gateway area. So refreshing to work with a staff that cares about my experience at Station A. Kudos to Vanessa and the other great folks there. I highly reccomend this community.
Move ins are a headache and hard to overcome throughout your lease. Once you move in and lease is signed.....don't hold your breathe for concerns to be corrected in a timely manner.
Over priced and cheaply built. All looks.
Great looking renovated apartments, most of the staff are very nice, courteous people. A few problems with shoveling & salt needing to be put down but overall great view of the lake, great facilities & free coffee in the clubhouse during business hours!! That's what sold me! LOL
Awesome place...... Awesome staff
The apartment itself is nice looking and a good size! The one bedroom unit we are in is lacking closet space. But overall a good apartment
I do not recommend living at the Gateway location. Poor service and untrustworthy staff.
This community is a unique balance of nature and city, where residents are encouraged to be active. I photograph 7 types of water birds. I have jogged around the lake and rowed on it. I fairly regularly attend the free yoga class. Parking is good during the day but a little tight at night. Construction has been a little frustrating but updates to the kitchen have made the kitchens more functional and pleasant.
Great property! Renovation are nice. The property fees are high (monthly pest service and they havent sprayed our apartment once so idk where the money goes) and they dont tell you that at the leasing office. The management could be organized better. Wait til the renovation construction is over to lease.
The apartments are gorgeous and cozy! The community is put together really well, and everything is modernized. I'm very happy!
We are quite dissatisfied with the maintenance of our place.
