Property Ratings at Station House At Lake Mary
Have lived in Florida all my life in homes and apts. The last time I saw a roach was in my teenage years, a long time ago. Traumatized by roaches for months that were hiding in every crack, every cabinet, electrical outlets and my coffee maker. It was so bad when I packed up to move the roaches hiding in boxes are now in my brand new apt. UGH!

While I was only there for under a year before I moved into a house, I had a great experience at Station House. If there was anything I needed help with, Catara and Clive were always available. They are the best management team. The apartments are clean, stylish, stocked with new appliances. And the building as great amenities like the gym, pool, common areas indoor and outdoor, and grills. It’s conveniently located across from the Sunrail Station and the Lake Mary PD. It’s a quick walk to downtown Lake Mary with shops, restaurants, and Central Park near City Hall. It’s a calm and safe place to call home, especially with Catara and Clive!

We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us! Until the next time we meet, take care!
the apartments themselves are really nice but the staff is horrible when it comes to resolving leasing issues. there is also a wasp problem that never gets properly dealt with either. maintenance is quick though.

We have lived at the Station House at Lake Mary for 1 year and have totally LOVED it! The location is ideal, the property is very unique and private, nicely maintained, and the staff is the best!! Meghan, Taylor, and Chris have always been friendly and extremely accomodating. They host the best events from Wine Down Wednesday's to fun themed holiday parties. We would definitely recommend the Station House to anyone who is looking for anew place to call home; you will not regret it!!

Thank you so much for your five-star assessment of Station House at Lake Mary! We're overjoyed to hear that you've had a pleasant experience at our community, and we greatly appreciate your kind words about our onsite team. Thanks again, and please let us know if you ever require assistance in the future!
Absolutely incompetent management. We've asked them on multiple occasions to perform AT LEAST a daily walk through of the property (something that should be so common sense we shouldn't need to ask), we find trash thrown in the hallways and left for days, people leaving their garbage out in the hallway in the mornings and not getting picked up until that night, etc. etc. Abandoned vehicles left in the parking garage for well over a year, etc. Every single time we're lied to and told that they will do better. Today, the fire alarms have been sounding for over 20 minutes so far, and they also went off yesterday- one of the dozens of times since we've moved in. No email from management, no notice, no nothing. Several weeks ago I nearly broke my neck slipping outside of the elevator because the parking garage was draining rain INTO the hallway. Enough is enough. Fire the entire staff and start over from scratch.

I have been living at Station house at Lake Mary for a year now. I have to say for my first apartment, I have truly enjoyed living here. My apartment was in excellent shape and the perfect size for my boyfriend, sister and I. The amenities and the overall property was well maintained and just beautiful. I loved living so close to downtown lake Mary and would often take walks to enjoy the shops and restaurants. The Robbins Property Associates staff has accommodated me and helped me with anything I needed during my stay. The maintenance staff was also extremely helpful and always quick to respond to a maintenance request. The staff is very professional and friendly and I will miss them dearly. I recommend Station House at Lake Mary to anyone looking for an apartment.

Wow! We couldn't be happier to read this review. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this for our Station House community. We will miss having you as a resident and we are so thankful for the time that you spent with us!
It has been almost a year that I have been staying at Station House at Lake Mary and I can hardly begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed my stay. My apartment is in exceptional shape and well maintained and I love all of the storage space. The amenities and landscaping are kept up wonderfully and centrally located for easy access. I can walk to the Sun Rail in moments and it is located in the middle of the city of Lake Mary. I would like to add that the Robbins Property Associates group has worked with me to find a win-win solution for any bumps in the road during my stay. Stephanie and Eleana consider it their pleasure to work with me and they have always respond so quickly to any questions or concerns that I may have had this past year. I recommend Station House at Lake Mary if you are looking for an apartment. It is really a lovely place and an exceptional staff.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It is residents like you that make Station House at Lake Mary a wonderful place to call home. You will be missed! Please let us know if there is any way we can be of service now or in the future.
I've been living at Station House for almost 2 years now. As my lease is coming to an end, and I'm looking for a change of scenery, I'm heartbroken to be leaving these beautiful apartments. Since the day I toured, the community has always been charming and inviting to myself and all my guest. If you love the idea of being in a small town feel with easy access to city living, this is the place you want to be. The Sunrail is at your footsteps, 24hr gym, cozy clubhouse, pool and grills on site and stunning fireplaces are just a few of the amazing amenities they offer. That's not to mention the countless sports, wine & cheese, facial, cookouts, entertainment parties they host in the community itself. Former management, Epoch was fabulous and under new management, Robbins, it's thriving and adding even more amenities. The new staff also have started to do some renovations to the community, I hear there is a cycle and yoga room coming as well. The apartments themselves are upscale, sleek, modern, spacious but also extremely "homey" feeling. They do an outstanding job at keeping the property maintained. The staff at Station House both 2 years ago and now are extremely helpful and devoted to making sure you're taken care of. From the old management to the new ones, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Gigi is the "concierge" so to speak of the clubhouse, she assists in package deliveries at night. Not only does she help you out with anything she can, she goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly throughout the community. She is an amazing person to chat with and has the kindest soul; we love you Gigi! And if you ever need anything done, don't hesitate to ask for Will, he is reliable, trustworthy and does everything in his reach to guarantee you're satisfied with the work. The rest of the staff are very kind and personable, they always welcome you with a smile. If you're looking for apartments in the Lake Mary/Sanford area, Station House really is a great investment. I ride the train to work so no need for driving through out the week; it saves me the headache of traffic and gas. It's in the heart of the downtown Lake Mary area with tons of cute restaurants and shops. The staff and the apartment complex speak for themselves, you will fall in love with these units, no doubt about it!

if u r hard of hearing, u may like it...neighbors stomping all around, cabinets slamming, toilets flushing, phone conversations & private moments that u did not ask to be part of but u'll hear them! if u like the smell of garbage/pot while walking thru halls and elevators, u may like it...stained carpets in hall, elevators, stairwells, parking garage - dog poop left behind ...(not luxurious) place is under new management every time i stop by the office and they raise ur rent and water bill - not fair! - something's not right here...

We understand that changes in the management team can be unsettling, however we will work diligently to provide the utmost service to our residents. Thank you for bringing the items to our attention and be assured we are here to enhance your lifestyle at Station House at Lake Mary. Thank you for being a valued resident and please do not hesitate to let us know how we can be of service.
The noise is absolutely ridiculous from your neighbors. Not sure if they are banging their heads against the wall or what, blood curling screaming, and the excessive vibration from the bass the Sunrail doesn't even make the apartment shake as much as your neighbor will. Don't worry Eric and his team will not do anything about it just like the previous three property managers and regional managers. Turn over is extremely high! They however will let your neighbor who is making complaints against them. Can't expect much from a management company that can't retain its residents let alone their employees.

We are sorry to hear of your experience at Station House at Lake Mary. Although this was some time ago, please be assured that we care passionately about your home and happiness.
Be prepared for lots of miscommunication, no communication and tons of inconvenience. Four complete staffing changes in a little over a year, gas grills exploding and injuring residents (seriously), fire alarms going off every month in the middle of the night (supposedly fixed, we'll see), incorrectly sized AC units (on hot days, we can't get our temperature below 80 degrees or so), astronomically high electricity costs (over $400 in the summer for a 1,200 sq. ft. apartment), never below $230- and we use LED bulbs and have our AC/heat set on a schedule. Filthy common areas (garage, stairwells, hallways and elevators), positive reviews being left by employees of the management company, leaking roofs, leaking pipes... And the list goes on and on and on.
Paper thin walls, Amtrak train shakes the complex all hours of the night, staff is extremely rude, more maintenance issues than one person can count.
Station House is a beautiful complex with fantastic luxury apartments. The only problem is the staff never leave you alone. I feel like they've probably had a lot of trouble in the past with crazy tenants complaining about the smallest issues. So now they're pressured to do way too much to make sure you're satisfied. I put in a maintenance request the day after I moved in and it was resolved within a day. I received calls and emails about that same request every other day for the next three weeks asking me if I was satisfied and what they could do to improve. I filled out the survey, what more is there to say?? I once put in a request that was addressed, but unable to be resolved and I told the maintenance guy it was okay and thanked him for looking at it. Not a big deal. Two days later I'm napping after class when the same maintenance guy unlocks my door and comes inside. He asked me about the same issue, did the exact same thing he did two days prior, and left. I don't mind that the issue couldn't be fixed, but I do mind that they do these unrelenting follow ups as if your request is still active. Although in my original request I did give permission to enter the apartment, I thought the case was closed after the first visit in which I was told nothing could be done. Why would I expect another visit? I wasn't expecting anyone to come into my home, so I was in my pajamas sleeping. I don't blame the maintenance guy. I know it's not his fault. I'm sure they saw my request wasn't resolved and immediately thought I would freak out and complain, so they sent him back. I really like living here, I just wish the staff would calm down a little. Or that corporate would stop pressuring them to do these things.
it's a new building- that's great but the insulation is... one can hear the toilet flushing from above while you are trying to sleep between the train whistles...select a top floor to avoid the foot traffic noise as well. the gym is nice and the garage is good too. it's a new building-that's great.
I have lived in the "Station House" Luxury apartments for 4 months now. The place looks great how ever don't let looks deceive you. Poor and shoddy construction are apparent throughout the complex. It feels like you are in an extended stay hotel. The management staff has no ownership in any fault. Everything is someone else's fault. not worth the 1375 a month that I pay. So many residents have broke their lease because of numerous reasons mostly due to the poor construction. I was the 12th resident to move in a brand new building so I have seen a lot happen. I truly hope I survive my year and able to get out of this death trap.
Yes it is conveniently located next to the SunRail. That’s about it. Communication is nonexistence with the management office. From when you take your initial tour, to after you move in. Consider yourself privileged if they reply back to your emails, or return your phone calls. (Just a quick side note, after typing that I realized I am the idiot for still choosing to move in to this dump). Some examples of what to expect; dented appliances, chips in the tub, deep scratches in the wood framing, the patio light cover full of dead insects barely allowing any light to come through, and previously chewed gum left on the patio floor, and the lack of inventory condition form to record any deficiencies. With no light in the laundry area in your apartment and bedroom closet, you will need to get a fashionable miner’s helmet with an attached light. When you step into the interior hallways this is some of what you will see. Trash littered hallways. Yes they have valet trash pickup, five days a week. Residents leaving multiple bags of trash outside their unit with the liquid from their trash bags leaking onto the interior hall walls and floors. The smell is beyond nauseating, words could not describe the smell of death in the hallways. Walmart shopping cart in the hallway on the second floor blocking a stairwell exit. Trash littering the stairwells, and garage. Construction debris inside and outside of the building. Tight garage gates, with residents and guest parking in no parking areas by the exit gate adding to the difficulty of exiting. The online resident portal is beyond confusing. Unless you’re Sherlock Holmes, good luck figuring out your rent ledger. With no water bill online or in the mail, you are left to guess what to pay. Bad weather caused the key fob entry to half the building stopped working, and the fire doors to shut. Several weeks have passed and the issues are still not fixed. The push bars on the fire doors stick at times, you will have to try a few times to get it to open. The fires doors slam shut with such force causing anything you had on the walls to fall. So to recap, if you enjoy mystery and guessing what your water bill and rent due is, being neglected by the management office, wearing head gear with lights, the smell of decaying death, the ability to take home a shopping cart, negotiating an obstacle course of trash and debris, squeezing through narrow gates like you are playing Mario cart, I would totally recommend this place!
the station house at lake Mary is just that. the sunrail station is directly in front and lots of fun to take into winter park for lunch. it is a safe area (police and fire station also infront). you can walk to farmers market on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. you do hear the train go by throughout the day but it adds to the charm. you also hear the tennants above you but the bedrooms are quiet. so far, a favorite apartment ;-)
I recently move to Lake Mary FLorida, and the first time I visited Station Houses Apartments, I fall in love. Is was like Magic momment! I feel and I'm blessed.
Station House is located in a great area of Lake Mary. It's within walking distance of public transit (Lynx and Sunrail), biking and walking paths, as well as great places to dine and shop. The units themselves look very nice. There are granite countertops in both the kitchen and bathroom with white subway tile backslash in the kitchen. All of the appliances are new and made by Whirlpool. This includes a stainless steel refrigerator with French doors that have an ice-maker, water dispenser and night light built into the freezer door. There's a stainless steel glass cooktop range and microwave with built in hood, dishwasher, and undermount single basin sink with chrome fixtures. The design includes an island in the middle of the kitchen that can serve as a dining counter with seating for two. There are full size washer and dryers in a laundry closet off the kitchen. The Single bedroom can fit a king size bed, a dresser, a desk and still have room to create a seating area. The bathroom has lovely garden tub that's great for a bubble bath by candle light. The closet is huge and was one of my must haves when picking a place. I could go on about the wonderful look of the space, especially since the photos, in my opinion, don't quite do it justice, but I'll move on to the things that kinda bother me about living here. 1. The water pressure is kinda weak compared to other places I've lived at. The pressure in the shower is good, but for the faucets it's underwhelming. 2. The hood vent in my kitchen didn't work the first time I used it. I haven't reported it yet, but will soon. The staff and maintenance crew are great and I'm confident they'll fix it in a timely fashion. But I am an optimist... So we'll see. 3. My unit is in front of a train. I didn't get a chance to realize the magnitude of this decision until I moved in. At first it didn't much bother me, but over time train horns get rather annoying. They aren't bothersome enough to wake me from my sleep, but when I'm up it's rather irksome. 4. The lighting is rather . It just requires changing to higher lumen lightbulbs, but that's still kind of a pain to change all of the light bulbs. Overall I'm happy to be here. The pluses (parking garage; rentable inside storage units; carpeted, air-conditiined corridors; large closet; gym; pool; clubhouse with single-serve coffee machine and pool table; valet trash and recycling; Lake Mary location...) definitely outweigh the few things that I'd like to see improved.
