People jump gates and fences all the time to get into the building, try to tailgate you into the parking garage, massive pool parties by non-residents, car break ins, apartment break ins, etc etc. And, they have an app with a community feed, but if you post about how displeased you are with these issues, the delete your posts and say that the feed "isn't for complaining." But if you email them, you don't get a response, and if you call the office, they're dismissive. Fully planned on renewing my lease, but the issues here have become unacceptable, and I will be leaving as soon as it's up.

I have lived at Station R for more than two years. As of July 2021, I wouldn’t recommend Station R to my worst enemy. The new management is incredibly incompetent, do not communicate changes in policies, do not address community issues and concerns, and just generally affect and attitude that they do not care about the safety and well being of the residents. Here are just a few ongoing issues that have continued throughout my time here that they have failed to address: • Garbage in the halls 24/7 • Fire alarms that sound CONSTANTLY. • Poorly maintained amenities (ex. the pool has green algae) • Smoking in apartments • Pet owners who leave waste and don't leash their animals. • Broken outside entrance gates that don’t lock, or get propped open with a rock • Broken garage gates that get left open 24/7 • Numerous Parking issues • Station R runs AirBnBs in the building and so there are constant loud parties that take over the amenities and leave them trashed. • Maintenance: there is only one person doing maintenance in the entire building • Security: they have security hired for after 10pm, but it’s a joke and does nothing. I tried to be positive and love this place. It’s the management running the place that is the problem. They will give you a ton of promises, but never follow through, which is the most important part. If you have any issues, you won’t have an advocate in the staff to help you fix the issues or even treat you with respect when you show concern about something. Don’t be fooled by how pretty the apartments are in photos and on your tours. They come with a heavy price: your safety, security, and peace of mind. Find a place to live elsewhere.

I’ve lived here for over a year now and I would encourage you all not to move in. Jorden and Laura were in the office when I first moved in, they were great staff. Now however, the new management seems to not care about anyone’s concerns or opinions. There are a lot of issues with the building, from booting registered cars, to barely/no security that we PAY for, valet trash that is payed for but always skipped for pick up and the elevators breaking every few weeks. Not to mention the fact that since I moved in there has been a repeated series of the fire alarm going off at all hours of the night multiple nights a week. They never even so much as send us an email update to let us know what’s going on. The building isn’t giving “luxury” to me, if a friend asked me if they should move in, I would have to advise them not to. Also, writing this review at 5:45 AM after the fire alarm jsut woke me up before work again ??

The basics of this luxury apartment complex are there, but the quality of life does not exist. In retrospect, I regret moving into this complex and would not value a 1br/bath at their current rates. Fire alarms have been consistently going off between 1AM-5AM for the past 3 months, with no communication from management. The pedestrian gate access is frequently inoperable, so residents must walk all the way around the complex to enter their apartments. The parking garage gate seems to be out of service more often than not, forcing residents to park on the street, even though the complex charges $30 a month for a parking spot. They also nickel and dime you on fees. We even get the privilege to pay for our packages to be delivered now :) Mold and mildew grow at an alarming rate throughout the apartments. I have spoken to multiple residents with the same problem. Not good for anyone with respiratory issues or allergies. There are plenty of other "luxury" options in the L5P and Moreland area to choose from.

Have fun living here if you enjoy waking up at 1, 2, and 3 am to a fire drill going off sometimes multiple times a week all to get the answer “we’re working on it”. Would be nice to be able to tell the office the same about my overpriced rent.

This is the worse apartment I ever lived in. The place shakes all day from cars, motorcycles, buses. We are next to the ambulance and fire department. The people upstairs are SUPER loud. They bump all times of she night and fight even mores the dogs are at least 50+ pounds running all day and night. They leave them on the patio to bark at people passing all day so it sounds like they are in the living room. And the people cut grass and weedeat 4 days a week at the windows. So no sleep and no peace in this beautiful place. If you don’t need either of those 2, this is the place for you !!!!

There appears to have been an round of office staff changes at our community. They are excellent changes in personnel and I feel we are being responded to in timely manner. This is much different than when we moved in February and we never felt that the office staff was on our side. The maintenance support was excellent back then too, but was sort of scarred by the deficiences of the office team.

The staff was usually friendly and helpful, the amenities and location were great, the neighbors were friendly and respectful, the appliances were nice and service requests were handled promptly, and I always felt safe.

Noise and thin walls are a concern. There is also a lack of storage space. These can be factored in with a good number of positive attributes.

Security is not fixed throughout the building as a priority and in a timely manner. Even now there are entrances that have not been fixed and are accessible without a key

Neighbors on top of me are extremely loud. Not sure if it's just the tenant or is it because the ceiling/floors are thin. I can hear them running/bumping all day and night. It even wakes me out of my sleep at times.

Would Not: Street facing apartments are quite noisy on the very busy 4-lane street at all hours of the day. Would: value and location to shopping centers, MARTA

I have had Item stolen from my motorcycle in the parking garage and the air let out of the tires of my car while in the parking garage.

I would not recommend this apartment community for 3 reasons. 1. The building is made like absolute crap. We've had to replace rods in the closet because they couldn't hold clothes without breaking. We had to get the door on one of our drawers replaced because apparently we opened it too many times so that completely ripped off. Our disposal broke, our toilet made the most obscene noise for about 3 days, we couldn't even sleep. We have lived here less than 2 years. 2. Safety. I do not believe this building or the area around it is safe. I don't feel that the community has done much at all to fix that issue. We can't even park on the Seaboard side right next to our apt without our car getting egged by strangers or broken into. My car was broken into 2 times, my fiance's once and his car was egged. I gave up reporting things to the front desk because each time they tell us that there's security on Seaboard but I haven't seen a security guard there in months. 3. Communication. Building management is HORRIBLE at communicating anything to the community. Just the other week the water was shut off from 9am-12pm...they didn't sent us an email about it until 10am. That doesn't help. We had to shower with WATER BOTTLES cause we didn't know that was going to happen. Our key fobs didn't work one day last week and instead of having someone stay late at the front desk to re-program the keys, i had to call the emergency number and ask them to do it. Thank god I figured it out cause I wouldn't have been able to get into my apartment until 12am when my fianc? got off work. Not only that but they didn't even send out an email letting us know what happened. To be completely frank, I cannot wait for the lease to be up so we can move out.

Rent could be $100-$200 less. As an older working professional/millennial, think the price could be less. It felt like nickel and diming for trash, parking, and pet on top of rent.

Apartment was in horrible condition when I moved in, had to delay my move in date days in order for carpet to be replaced, apartment to be cleaned, etc, but once that was done the apartment has been nice with good amenities

I wouldn't fully recommend it to anyone yet because since I moved in 9 months ago we have gone through 3 leasing companies so I'd rather wait and see what happens. However, I am a big fan of the pool and gym hours / openness, and I think that's a huge plus. :)

Only thing keeping me from giving a 10 is the fact that my neighbor lets their dog pee in the hallway daily. The elevator that isn?t by the office always smells and has pee in it. Generally it?s the people living here that are nasty and keep me from giving a 10. I think we need more cleaning staff. The hallways used to be cleaned almost daily.

Overall this is great apt community and location. The major downfall it?s extremely noisy on the front end of building. From the garbage service trucks early morning, if your apt is by the garage door on your floor, It slams all day and night long. I would recommend some door softeners for every door. It?s extremely disturbing, and removal of garage trash needs to be more regular and cleaning could be improved in hallways and elevators, besides those few things. I would recommend Station R hopefully to future residents.

The property is in an excellent location and the units are new and still nice. However, since I moved in the complex in July, 2017, we have been through three management companies. Initially, we were run by Greystar, who staffed the property with extremely friendly employees. Karla, Dago, and all the maintenance crew were always great to work with. Now, we have been taken over by Pinnacle, and our resident portal isn't even working. The office staff are not particularly friendly, and since this is marketed as a higher-end complex with higher-end prices, I feel like we should at least be able to have a working portal to pay rent and create work orders. I think the owners of the property should really consider bringing back Greystar as their management company.
