You can’t beat the location of apartments for rent in Downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin. Found not only on the western bank of Lake Michigan, this tranquil city lies one hour from Milwaukee and two hours from Chicago. Find your perfect fit in studios or one-bedroom dwellings in Victorian houses or two- or three-bedroom digs in garden complexes.
Predictably, a lot of the fun stuff to do around Kenosha centers on the water. Five Kenosha beaches grace Lake Michigan's shorefront, including the beach on Simmons Island. A short drive from downtown via 50th Street, Simmons Island also contains a lighthouse, bike trails, fishing and boating, and a number of historical centers, including the thrilling Dinosaur Discovery Museum. Rather stay on the mainland? Then chow down at the Boat House Pub on 7th Avenue, with its famous appetizer platter that includes won ton mozzarella sticks, seasoned French fries, and, of course, cheese curds.

Property Ratings at Stationside Village Apartments
Verna is very professional and helpful. Showed us several units and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Lawrence from Kenosha
The apartment complex appears nice on the outside and is in a good location but is overpriced and the management only cares about issues and rules when it is in their favor. The windows leaked so bad that during a winter wind gust, it was strong enough to rip the interior clear plastic window sealers right off the tape. The place is dirty, can easily hear the neighbors. When moved in, toilet leaked, broken light switches, floor peeling up, gaps in fake wood flooring, dirty floors, heaters thermostat broke, missing shower head and list goes on and the management has yet to fix any of it. Find someplace else.
Hello- I just moved into these apartments and it was one problem after another . I couldn't even sleep at night and woke up to a bedroom full of ants. It couldn't get any worse and I'm happy I broke the lease and found a nicer, CLEANER place to live. Stay away from these apartments. It's not worth a single penny
Property Manager at Stationside Village Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review our community. We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with your apartment. Upon returning to my office this morning, I found that you had contacted our emergency maintenance after hours number over the weekend, sent multiple emails and filed an on line work order about ants in your apartment. The issue was addressed in a timely manner by us, first thing this morning which was the next business day after receiving your complaint 24 hours ago. Within less than 24 hours of being made aware of an issue, maintenance has repaired the screen and a certified pest control technician has treated your home for ants. While it is unfortunate you are having an experience that has not met your expectations, we have addressed all maintenance concerns in a timely manner. Stationside Village was built in the early 1990's, and the staff pour their hearts into maintaining our apartments, townhomes and common hallways. We take great pride in our community. We have many happy, long-term residents that value calling Stationside Village their home. We wish you the best in your new home! Sincerely, Stationside Village Management
This apartment complex is overpriced for what you get. There are no amenities, no central air, and management is not that helpful. The apartments are old and falling apart. Online it says that they include WiFi for the buildings which is vaguely true. They do have open WiFi in each building, but it is the crappiest WiFi ever. When I addressed this, they said that it was because there was too many people on it. If this is an amenity, it should be able to sustain the tenants of the entire building since we are paying for it. Even as I was just moving in, there were things that were very dirty, worn, and even broken that still have yet to be fixed and I have been here almost a year. When moving some of my things in, I was told that I could not put anything in the living room area yet because they were replacing the carpet in that area, but when I finished moving in a few weeks later, they just replaced a rectangle of the carpet even though there were and still are many stains on the carpet throughout the entire apartment from the previous tenant. Also, they were nice when I came for a tour of the apartments, but when my roommate and I were trying to get everything in place to sign our lease to secure an apartment they were rude and would call us last minute for things that weren't easy to get. They would rush us for things saying they would give away the apartment if we didn't get them things in 24 hours. it was hard for us because we didn't know each other before hand, we lived in 2 different states very far away from the apartment. I feel as though they treated us this way because we are younger than their normal tenants and they felt as though they could take advantage of us. They made me send countless documents multiple times because they claimed they never got them, but I emailed them and they responded to that email with the attached documents to say they didn't have the documents. This happened more than once and it was very frustrating.
Property Manager at Stationside Village Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to review Stationside Village Apartments. It is unfortunate that you are having a less than satisfactory experience at our community. I can assure you that this is not a common occurrence here at Stationside Village. At time of move-in, each resident is given 7 days to return a move-in checklist to make note of any issues they may have come across. We strive to correct any maintenance issues that may need attention in a timely manner. If you currently have repairs that are needed in your apartment home, please contact the leasing office to request maintenance service. It is not our intention to create frustration during our application process, however, our application process is something we adhere to with each and every applicant. Thank you for brining the WiFi issue to our attention. We had not received other complaint so we will look into this to see how this experience can be improved. Please feel free to contact us directly in the future at our onsite office so that we may attend to your requests in the most timely fashion. We again thank you for sharing your thoughts.
