Everyone here is super friendly from the staff to maintenance to the other tenants. The complex is absolutely beautiful and the staff has been extremely helpful. Nicole has been extremely helpful.

They usually charge almost 200$ as maintenance charges which is much higher as compared to any of the neighbouring property

Roscoe Management took over at Fountains of Steeplechase and everything was good for a few weeks and then stopped. I sent maintenance requests for a leak in the wall that could collect outside my door (#1611) and they didn't do anything. When the winter storm hit, they did NOT take care of their tenants. I had a newborn and a son with asthma and they told me my unit was livable. I had open walls and ceilings from them taking the dry wall out and it sat there for over a month before moving out and they still hadn't touched it. People who came in and replaced carpet TRASHED my bedroom and put toilet brush on my newborns changing table and threw shower items on my bed which leaked all over. I was displaced for 3 months before finding a new place and they would not reimburse my rent that I paid with the intention things would be fixed. They would not give me my rent back and continued to tell me that place was livable. They did absolutely nothing to help the process and after enough emails they finally let me out of my lease even after being told no when I asked right at the beginning. The regional manager was not helpful and wouldn't speak unless it was with an attorney. 10/10 would NOT recommend this property.

There are generations of American roaches living in the walls, and appliances. When it Rains the carpet is soaked and floors or flooded inside the unit. When I talk to the office manager they never do anything and patronize. They laughed when I made a 12th trip to the office to discuss my homes condition. They are Terrible. There are drive by shootings, drugs being sold....I mean what a place to live. Please stay away for your own health and safety.

Bad management, roaches which were not treated , repairs not done and no running water every month. Live in a dump and just save the money.
The incompetence of the entire staff is incredible, from denying their obligations and to putting the tenant dead last. I had lived here 2 short months and my apartment became infested with flies. Like 100’s of flies in a one day period while I was at work. I reported this to the staff and they told me to wait a week for when the bug spray guy to come. They wanted me to live in a full on infestation for another 5 days. I went over their heads and corporate fixed it that night. Complete idiots here. Except for Melody, she can be nice
I’ve lived here for the last year. And if I would’ve moved out 2 months ago this would’ve been a 5 Star review. When I first moved here this place was great. Well kept, maintenance was prompt about repairs, staff was super friendly and the manager Amy was great. But they’ve gotten all new people, including a manager who could care less about anyone. Now all I see is dog poop and trash everywhere. People leave trash outside their doors constantly and even though I take pictures and send them to the property manager directly nothing gets done. Now the dumpsters are overflowing and people just dump their furniture. But instead of focusing on that all they focus on is towing cars and making money that way. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen tow trucks in here towing residents cars. I go into the office to pick up a package and just about every time there’s someone there asking why their car was towed. Again the manager can’t be bothered to even come out of her office so the staff is just going back and forth. But it always ends the same way - they come up with a stupid excuse and refuse to pay the tow fee. And now the icing on the cake is that I’m moving out in 2 weeks and they hit me with some stupid fee for not having renters insurance. I email them 3 times a copy of my policy and finally they say they received it and sent it to corporate. Now I’m told today that even though I’ve shown proof of continuous coverage that they won’t reverse it. But of course it’s no one in the offices decision and say it’s “corporate”. I ask for the phone number of the regional manager and the guy in the office straight up googles a 1-800 number to give me. I ask “so if you need to call the regional manager you call this number?” He replies yes....ok sure ya right. Point is - stay away from this place. Outside just smells of dog poop and your car will get towed.
BEWARE! Management does not care about your concerns and/or complaints. People are allowed to continuously let their dogs poop and leave it there for others to smell and step in. Maintenance will use your furniture as step stools in order to reach areas they cannot reach instead of bringing their own. I know this because I had a security camera installed and watched them do this. The list goes on.
I can’t imagine dealing with a better group. Melody and Amy are an amazing team. They treated us with care and attention throughout the entire process of leasing and moving in. This team holds true to there rock solid guarantee. I am extremely pleased with every experience I have had and would highly recommend moving to the Fountains at Steeplechase. It’s a great community residents are friendly and the pools are kept to a high standard.
The managers will NOT help you if you really need it! My daughter got duped by a crooked "friend" who turned out to be nothing but a lying leech! She didn't pay her half of the rent on time and she doesn't pay utilities on time, yet the managers won't do anything about it. The crooked roommate actually signed a legal document getting off of the lease, and my daughter turned it in the very next day only to find out a few weeks later (today) that the crook had "called" in a week ago and changed her mind so they didn't finish processing it...how is that legal?!?! This is after my daughter had maggot problems coming out of the vents in the ceiling, that turned into moths, and they still wouldn't ket her out of the lease! My daughter has called the corporate office to try to get help, but they didn't help her either. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!
The kids are pretty loud at all hours. Be very careful where you park or you will be towed. Maintenance crew is getting better and office staff seem a little clueless sometimes but they get the job done. Lots of coming and going, In six months, I've seen at least 4 apartments move out and 2-3 moving in... but then there are some lifers too. The pool is interesting, basically 4 smaller pools in one area. This complex only has two entrances / exits on Alma so if you live in the back you have to drive over several speed bumps to get in or out.
This is an average apartment complex, the office staff is helpful at times but we have a high turn over so the staff is always new...on the upside the grounds are well kept, we are in close proximity to a park, gas station, Walgreens and several grocery stores, it features 2 pools, a lake and a small gym. We are close to Hwy 75 which is a major thoroughbred and major intersections within feet from the complex...it is quiet which is a major plus... It's like living in a peaceful retreat..the tenants are distant but friendly, my perfect paradise.
It's a great starter apartment complex. Quiet, affordable if living alone, pet friendly and safe. Two family pools, on-site coin laundry, small dog park, storage units and an option for covered or non-covered parking. It's located in a quiet area of Plano right next to US-75. So it's a nice quick 20 minute drive to and from Dallas. Maintenance services are quick, and the offices are easy to work with. Nothing fancy. Just a simple apartment, if that's all you're looking for :)
