Middletown/Goshen is an area about 70 miles north of New York that surrounds Interstate 84 and Highway 17. This wooded community is an ideal mix of residential, natural, and modern areas. Modern amenities like the Galleria at Crystal Run, hotels, and the Garnet Health Medical Center can be found at the Highway 17 and Interstate 84 intersection. Golf courses, parks, and the Wallkill River provide residents with outdoor recreation. Most of the Middletown/Goshen rentals can be found towards the center of the region, and they range from mid-rise apartments to suburban homes. Just outside of the neighborhood, residents have access to massive state parks, New York Stewart International Airport, and more great amenities.

Property Ratings at Sterling Parc at Middletown
This is not luxury! These are cheaply made apartments with thin walls and terrible quality materials from the lights to the cabinets to the ovens. Sterling Parc is terribly mismanaged, greedy, cruel and not at all worth the price. They claim to be luxury apartments but appliances and cabinets break constantly and no one comes to fix it or even responds to maintenance requests. Their snow plowing is abysmal and the amenities you pay for in your fee are constantly closed or broken. They are money hungry and only care about profit, which is why they will raise your rent hundreds of dollars from lease to lease and come up with random fees not $75 fees or $100 fees but $2000 fees to hit you with. There’s an extremely high turnover rate in property managers here with no consistency or stability in rules or regulations. They don’t pay for maintenance and claim there is a shortage of workers so nothing is ever fixed. There is no luxury here so do not get swindled. There isn’t even common decency. Do not rent here.
The maintenance guy is the ONLY good thing about this place. Management is horrible and they are a bunch of lying thieves. The "amenities" are too small and cannot accommodate the amount of residents who live here. The dumpster behind the Quick Check would have been a better place to live than these overpriced projects. Do not waste your time, they'll only charge you extra for it
I give this place ZERO stars! This was by far the WORST rental experience I have ever had. Not only are you charged multiple non refundable fees when you sign the 20 plus page lease, you also have to pay them more fees just to move out. The carpets HAVE to be professionally cleaned and you must submit the original receipt that it was done by a well known company. Then you have to pay them $75 just to do the final walk through. I don't know why I even bothered because I was told that my apartment was immaculate and that I would get my full deposit back and the manager even signed my move out inspection sheet saying everything was ok. Well they decided afterwards that they were going to take $595 from my deposit to replace a portion of the carpet. This complex is not interested in anything but taking as much money from you as they can. Management is extremely rude and has no problem lying right to your face. WARNING: Do NOT rent from Sterling Parc at Middletown or any Solomon Organization LLC complex for that matter.
In the beginning the management staff was very helpful . Then the company was sold to another property group that replaced the existing management staff with rude n disrespetful management staff . I live on the first floor n residents who live above me , i might add are young immature n disrespectful women . They have carpeting in their apartment upstairs n continuely stomp on the carpet as they walk back n forth . I addressed management staff in regards to this n they did nothing . All they want is your money n you get cheap construction . Looks nice on the outside but live here for 6 months n get to know some of your rude neighbors . I kindly asked the women upstairs to please stop stomping on the carpet but they were rude young women . Management staff did nothing! Beware if you move in here . This is my last year here at this disrespectful place .
If I knew what I was getting into I would never have moved here. They promised so munch and then sold the place and this company wants money for everything. This is more like living in a prison, you can't do this you can't do that that's all you hear, every week new rules left on you door. Someone mentioned security well that's only Wednesday to Sunday guess the other 2 night are safe night. Most of the time he is sleeping. So if I was you I would stay as far away from this place as I could also Southgate of Middletowm will be the same except more money. Hope this is helpful. Can't wait to move out when lease is up.
For what you pay here the office staff does not care for you whatsoever and is extremely rude. The rent is not even worth the price for the area you are in and it goes up every year!! Not to mention they try and get you for every penny. The swimming pool is hardly enough to accommodate all these buildings. Me and my husband were stupid enough to to live here for 3 years (probably the longest residents) and they seriosuly expected the apartment to look like how it looked when we first moved in, are they effin crazy??? Anyways the best thing was armend the maintenence guy but even he moved out the same weekend we did. Horrible
These apartments are a great place to live with the amenities of a clubhouse with a gym and pool. There is also a playground for children. Is also has an outdoor area set up with tables, benches and a barbecue pit to do all your summer outdoor cooking. Its also has a storage facility on site. Not to mention there are many shopping areas near by and many restaurants to choose from.
Having never been to the Orange County area before, we weren't sure what to look for in an apartment. When we found Sterling Parc, we were thrilled! These units are incredible. There's a washer & dryer, fantastic sterling silver appliances and high quality counter tops, and durable tile in the kitchen. There's TONS of storage (a huge front closet, a linen closet and a store closet in the hallway, a walk-in closet in the bedroom, built-in storage units in the bathroom by the sink & storage above the shower). The carpet is lush but durable and the open concept is great. These apartments feel luxurious but come at a great price, especially given the 24-hour security & maintenance service, the pool, the fitness center, the clubhouse, the Dairy Queen and QuickChek two seconds away, and the running/walking/biking paths through the property. We love sitting on our balcony in the morning as well, such a great touch! Fantastic place to live and a great staff.
I am not experienced in looking for an apt place in which you would want to call your home. I am retired , recently became the custodial of my grand daughter who is 2 . I found a place that was safe and secure. Beautifully groomed grounds ,very understanding and attentive staff who make each day living here a dreamcome true ,been here 2years.
So we moved in in January and just had our baby. Pros of Parc properties: safe and secure with a guard. Close to everything, right off Dolson ave. Price is high but for safety, location and style it's one of the best choices. Laundry in the apartment Cons: Only one and it's just the vibe. The entire complex doesn't feel "homely" All in all, this place is a good start, but were looking for another place.
The only good thing was the maintenance guy. The office staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and difficult to deal with. The rent, utilities and paying your own water bill add up to a lot more then advertised. They advertise as luxury living but this is not worth the money or aggregation. Also their security deposit is absurd and you will wait way after you move out to get it back. They call the pool one of their amenities but its the size of a jacuzzi, is open from about 1-2 everyday and is also now overshadowed by another building. Your choice but I would avoid this place.
This place is proof that you can spend a lot of money on nothing. There really are no amenaties worth noting other than the gym which is ok. The pool is a joke and is small. The office staff is a little poor on class and quality. Just because you charge a lot in rent does not make you better than anyone else. The maintenance staff is pretty good but if I could have done it all over, I would have walked away and had more money in my pocket at the end of the day.
Dealing with the office staff here was one of the worst experiences i have ever had in apartment living. They do not make you feel like you are at home at all. They email you weekly about new rules and fines they are imposing! i never broke a single rule or damaged my apartment in the least yet they tried charging me all types of fines AFTER I had my apartment professionally cleaned, which I did not even have to do. When I moved out of Sterling Parc I was never treated worse! For the rent you would pay here... go somewhere else or buy a house, its not worth the stress of making a "home" in a place with an environment like this.
