Property Ratings at Sterling Pointe Apartments
Sterling Pointe Apartments is an absolutely amazing place to live. You cannot be the quality for the price. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and there is a big family vibe throughout the property. Many families living here with kids who are very polite when playing around the neighborhood. Not once had there been any issue with crime, and the maintenance staff is always prompt to help with whatever is needed. Everyone on staff is so pleasant. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice neighborhood, and who would love to save a little money on a quality apartment.
Definitely gone down hill in last few months. Ownership has changed. Rarely anyone in office to answer questions or needs. You have to hope someone returns a phone call because office is usually empty. Common areas infested ants. Paid rent on time but some how record keeping doesn’t exist so I had to take my time off work to prove they got it. Claiming I owe late fee of $225 biggest late fee ever!!!! Leaving to rent a home next month. This used to be a great little complex hopefully new management doesn’t continue going off a cliff.
If only my a.c. would get truly fixed after a little over two years of complaining. Tired of burning through 40 dollars a week in electric because my a.c. unit can't cool the apartment, and runs 24/7 when it's set to a sweltering 80 degrees in the middle of a Florida summer. Guess I'll be hiring my own repairman since the letters and calls don't seem to work. Also doesn't have any worthy amenities. Trash runs around 6 in the morning on various week days so forget that extra 20 minutes of sleep before waking up for work. Front office is never open it seems, so good luck actually talking to someone in person or getting any of your important packages.
I have lived at Sterling Pointe for about 3 years and really like it, the outside is kept up nicely and maintenance is good , glad to have Don back again !
Lived here for 5 years! I have never had a problem. The property is very quiet. Apartments have recently been upgraded. Beautiful inside, rent is very affordable compared to other places around this town! I am very happy with where I live. Five stars!!
I have lived here 2 years and just signed a lease for another year, I have never had any issues with the office staff and the maintenance guys always do my maintenance call the same day I call the office.... As for the other reviews .... dont be so quick to believe them.....people writing bad reviews might just be the problem! See the apartments FOR YOURSELF !!
I've been here for about two years when it was called Serenity Apartments. When I moved in everything was fantastic. Office staff was very friendly. Amenities were great and maintained. But after the first few months things went down hill quickly. I requested a water heater change during opening inspections before move in. I've been told that, "its has been ordered and delivered and will be installed soon" for two years. Still has not been installed. Asked for electrical repairs. Still not done. Garbage disposal needed repair took 3 reminders to have it done. I even had the maintenance guy tell me that he heard my request at the office but couldn't do anything because office staff had not entered it in the books. They hired a new receptionist since the name change and she is a joke. Completely unprofessional. Constant complaints from other tenants about her. Consistent vandalism of amenities. To this day I still do not have my water heater. Oh, and prices are soaring up now! Apartments are nice and clean but take into account the management. If they continue then this place will sink very fast.
I have been here 3 yrs. The name has changed 3 times in those 3 yrs. I had been calling the office for months about maintenance issues in my apartment. Still no one has shown up. Because of one of my many issues my water bill keep going up. The rent keep going up they said it was because of ALL the "New" Amenities. What Amenities? The laundry room was 24/7 for 2weeks then they closed it "kids vandalized equipment". The gym use to be accessed with a pin code, then they "up graded" to a key but that will cost the tenant $25. Did I mention only 1 equipment works in the gym again the office excuse was "kids vandalism". The staff is rude & nasty. No respect or business manors. Drug Control not in effect. I see it everyday. This is a Horrible Place to call home. The advertising & out may draw your attention but is ALL fake. Thank God Im leaving
Lived here for over 7 years, went through 3 different landlords and three different names in the last 3 years I was there. No maintenance, it will take on average 2-3 months for any simple work order to be completed. If they didn't fix it the first time, they promised to comeback which took an additional 2-3 months. Landlord is not helpful, most of the week she isn't in the office. They advertise a 24/7 in facility laundry- not true, rarely ever opened and vandalized often by the kids that live in this neighborhood. Kids vandalize every aspect of the property and everyone has to be end up losing privileges. I used to love this place but, it has been a huge let down. Renovations don't matter when it's not done in the apartments and tenants themselves. I had to leave do to a corpse next door and to me that was it after the previous year someone got shot and killed a few buildings down. And the amount of cops that live here is quite inexplicable as this things continue to happen. Silver Oaks as it was formerly known was a much better place to live. Looking forward to this place becoming what it used to be.
This place is a great temporary apartment place but price keeps going up. Also the staff even though they are friendly do not always address your maintenance issues within your apartment.
Sterling Pointe Apartment Homes is a great place to live. It is a great community, the office staff is very helpful and are outstanding. The maintenance crew is great and come right away when you have a problem. I would highly recommend this complex!
My apartment is a two bedroom one bath apartment. It's comfortable for a small family. The apartment isn't exactly what I would look for but for the price is reasonable. To me it seems a little too plane and could use some touching up because since I have been here there's been multiple repairs which included the ac, toilet, screen door and pipe line in the vent that caused a big water leak. Other than that it is well enough to live in but I would choose better if I had the finance for it.
