Property Ratings at Stillwater
The new management never answers the phone and always trying to enter the unit the same day of placing out notices. Management is awful

Since moving in there’s been multiple managers and horrible maintenance. And apparently the last manager threw away all the work orders which hopefully doesn’t mean they threw away our original rental agreement paperwork because the apartment needed to be fixed before we moved in and never was. The buildings are old and were never maintained. They need to be torn down and replaced. Roaches and water bugs galore and Yes both!!! We weren’t allowed to use the fireplace we were told upon moving in the property lost insurance because a crackhead set their apartment on fire. This new Apartment manager is making improvements but the prices are honestly ridiculous at the moment based on space, area, and living conditions alone. I can’t wait until my lease is up.

I’m a current resident here and it’s been a decent place to live but maintenance people take so long to come fix things. I’ve had a clogged sink and garbage disposal for 3 months and I keep calling to get maintenance to come and they never show up and I’m fed up with it now...

Several serious issues over priced, falling apart. New employees every few months, mold, floods, electrical etc.
This place is terrible, its run and managed by a group of people that will take the cheapest routes every time. They don't complete work orders, the AC in all the apartments rarely works. The office staff are rude and act like you are incompetent, police are in the neighborhood very frequently due to the community this place attracts. They do not care about their tenets. Its honestly a joke. I could write a full ten page paper about the level of disgust I have for this place. The worst part, is if they actually cared and acted like a competent company this place could easily be a great place to live. But they don't care and on top of it all they painted all the building a used dirty diaper/toilet paper yellow, brown. So if you like investing in a place where you are concerned for your health, safety, and over all well being. If you like fixing everything yourself, 30-60 days after you put in a work order, and if you like to be just treated terribly. The Park at san remo is yours. Just drive on in, the gate never works any ways. Check out how they keep their garbage. Right there on the right of the main building. Its an example of how they take care of the rest of the place. Please I'm begging you look some where else to live. I wish I had.
I loved my apartment since I moved here. The area is always clean. I feel safe all the time. I have great neighbors and the up and coming community is surrounded with things to do. Looking forward to another year.
Please be sure you are going to be approved before applying. They go by your score and delinquent accounts on your credit not rental history. You do not get the $175 administrative fee back. So you will pay $50 plus $175 plus $11 processing fee. Total $241 that you lose out on which could be a deposit somewhere else.
Do not rent this place. They lie to get you into this place. Don't be fooled by the "gated community" because the gate stays open all day and its so slow to close at night that 5 cars can get in at one time. This apartment needs a complete rebuild/remodeling. The ceilings and walls have cracks in them, the patch work is horrible, they used double sided tape to cover up a fading mirror and it falls off every time I take a shower, there's pot holds in the parking lot, the cabinets have pieces missing and water damage, the light in the dinning room hangs so low I hit my head and I'm 5'7, there's no ceiling lights or fan in the livingroom or bedroom, I have 3 light switches the does absolutely nothing, and I have mold because I can see it in the closet and smell it every time my AC comes on. Maintenance is a joke. I asked to have my air conditioning looked at and they checked the dish washer. I called because I have a snake nest outside my door and he asked was I knew it was a snake. I offered to show him a picture I took and he didn't want to see it so he picked up a rock, put it over the hole, and told me to go buy snake repellent. They only clean the parking lot and never cut the grass around the lake or clean up the leaves or trash because there's still some random Halloween decoration still on the ground. The kids here play in the road and one hit my car with his bike. The only thing I like about this place is the lake.
Think twice before you move here!! Yes, the office staff is friendly but they truly don't care about you. I've asked several times for someone to address the noise issue with my neighbors above me and it's been 3 months and I'm still dealing with the noise. I was told the light in the laundry room would be replaced (which they offered to do I never asked for it) still waiting for that and for maintenance to check the water pressure for the kitchen sink. The residents don't watch their children they constantly run in the street unattended or play outside by your window. Oh and they are horrible with communication! They don't tell you if you have a package at the font office. I needed a book for school which was delivered but no one could call or send me an email notifying me. Hope I pass my class! If you have to live here make it a 6 month lease or less and run away from Runaway Bay!!!
Looks can be deceiving. The outside looks great but my experience was far from it. I have lived in many places, this place by far one of the worst. One neighbor blasted his music all hours day and night. It took management 6 months to do something about it. Tenant underneath me was smoking drugs and burning something awful all night long that filled my entire apt with smoke. Let's not forget the giant roaches. They did not abide by the terms of the lease and I did everything I was supposed to, yet they still claim I owe rent after I moved out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
This is the first time I am living on my own and there are some mixed reviews. The office is nice and friendly. They greet you at the door and welcome you to the neighborhood. The staff gives you information about the location and what's available. However, when first moved in the apartment wasn't ready and there looked like some things still needed to be done. But the office got on it right away and took care of my concerns. This pleases me to know any issues with the apartment will be met by the staff. Plus, the environment is quiet and the area is clean. There is a beautiful view of the lake that is close by and residents are more than welcome.
I am impressed, because I have a beautiful view of Gods' trees, also it's relaxing to sit on the balcony in the morning, and wonderful to experience the cleanness of the view. Do you want convenience to any store for example Wal-Mart among others. Do you like hardwood floors and a unique floor plan if you do runaway to the bay
I only gave this apartment 1 star because zero is not an option. This apartment complex is obviously run by the biggest group of idiots imaginable. Service requests when they finally are "completed" are not actually fixed it took me 3 to get my dish washer "fixed" and by fixed I mean replaced with a new one, five service requests later my shower is still broken. The matinence staff seems to think that all appliances are "new" including the broken dish washer with a giant dent in the door which I was told was brand new. The apartments are infested with cockroaches. The office staff, if they decide to open the office and actually answer the phone, will tell you they are going to do something and then not do it. The gate to this so called gated community is never closed and when asked about it the office says that it is broken and the outside party, which never actually seems to be working on it, is trying to fix it but doesn't know when it will be fixed. This is literally the worse place I have ever lived and if moving at the moment was a fiscal possibility I would do so in a heart beat.
Runaway bay is a beautiful property. The landscape is done weekly if not more beautiful flowers, and real yes real ducks that walk though out the property there is a beautiful lake with a fountain in the center at lakeside each building has a picnic area with grills for t h em nights you want to cookout and sit by the lake and watch the ducks swim. As well as a pool and lawn chairs so you can lay out watch the kids and even a soda machine if you get thirsty with a beautiful gazebo next to pool over looking the lake. And forbyour maitance issues the guys here are on it within a hour or so 24/7 for your emergency needs gated community and for extra security there are officers who drive through at night other aminities such as: patio for sitting or dining, central air , fire place in some units, dish washer, stove and frig., laundry hook ups or laundry room on property as well as gym
Beautiful places on a lake lots of beautiful landscape, pool, lots of ducks that walk the property all day can fish in the lake or swim at the pool sit out on the beautiful patio and take in the view or .sit at the beautiful lake side and cookout at the grills and picnic area provided by the property
Runaway Bay apartments are beautiful (with the trees and trails, lake and water fountain) and rent is affordable (ours is $650 for a one bedroom, then add electricity and wate), but there's a few things that I wish would change. I wish they had someone come spray the insect killer outside all the apartments every two months or something. Being near so many trees there's a lot of bugs (spiders mostly, with a couple wasps and ants) and they're all around the stIrcades and in the corners on the ceiling outside the doors! We mentioned it before and someone came with a leaf blower ! Other than that, they're pretty helpful when I have a question. The pool is great and beautiful! The laundry area is much appreciated, but the gym could use a few more machines or maybe just some Dumbbells, please!
It's ok to live if you need a cheep starter apt. They have made some improvements ......to the outside. The model apt looks great compared to the actual apt. They seem to have a friendly staff that takes your concerns serious. I feel that eventually they will upgrade the actual apt, but no time soon.
The apartment was in excellent condition, the staff was great in telling us about the place and showing us around the complex. Everything is close by and in walking distant. I love this place, the lake the ducks and the people, amazing.
