Property Ratings at Stockbridge Apartments ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED
They will take your money and not help do a thing to your unit. Cars are not safe in back. & the doors to the building are open for intruders.
Crackheads galore, management doesn't fix anything, I had a roof caving in for the better part of a year, and they had the audacity to act surprise when I moved out when my lease was up.
I lived there for 7 months and never had a problem, the person working there named Kaylyn was very helpful with all. I never had and issue and I extended my stay there and they were able to acommodate me on the same day. Everything was smooth on business and service. The studio did not had any problem and had everything I need.

We love hearing about your positive experience and are glad you chose Stockbridge as your home!
My fiance and I lived here 2018-2019. Everything was pretty good when we moved in and the maintenance man Ramon is awesome! We moved in during the summer and that winter there were problems with the heat (sometimes the radiators wouldn't turn off and the apartment was boiling hot, and sometimes the heat didn't work and we had a space heater going). Also, after the big snowstorm that came the ceiling in one room started leaking and the ceiling started falling down. Management was supposed to fix it, but we spent over a month with a quarter of our living space taken up by a garbage can and an industrial tarp taped to the walls and ceiling to keep the water and falling plaster off of our stuff. We also had a HUGE ant infestation on the Friday before labor day and the emergency maintenance wouldn't come, so we had to bug bomb our apartment at our own expense and stay with a friend for the weekend. Management told us afterwards that we technically weren't allowed to do that, even though they wouldn't do anything for us since it was a holiday weekend and they didn't wanna pay holiday pay to an exterminator. We ended up packing our stuff and leaving early. Definitely not worth the headaches and management is impossible to get ahold of most of the time, and doesn't like to work with you.

Thank you for your feedback. We do agree, Ramon is awesome! We are sorry that you had these issues, if we had known about having any issues with pest we would have had the treatment done. IF there any work orders, we do get to them right away.
If I were moving into the stockbridge now these are the things I would want someone to tell me: -Take pictures of everything on move in day. A week after I moved out of my apartment I received an email saying that I had damaged the floor and bathroom door. Both were in the same condition they were when i moved in. Thank god I take an obnoxious amount of photos of my cat because I only had evidence of the existing damage in the background of cat pics. -The neighborhood is no good. Carry mace and don't wear headphones ever. Trust me. -Put your mattress in a bedbug proof cover. The only time I've come across bedbugs was in this building. -The police will probably bang on the front door to arrest one of your neighbors at some point. Let them in and take the elevator, they'll use the stairs. -Get acquainted with your local tenants rights group and know what you need to do to put your rent into escrow if repairs go unaddressed. This is hands down the worst building I've ever lived in. Competent and helpful building management does exist-just not here.
Stockbridge is very affordable with rent that includes utilities and a close location to the highway. There are some grocery stores near by, but the 15 minute walk to Heinen's is worth it. You will have to pay monthly for parking. There are the garage spots which are in the building's basement, or the back lot with a gate. The back lot has issues with cars being damaged or broken into, and has happened multiple times in the time I have lived here. The gate also occasionally breaks. The building is very sound proof, and I have had no issues with my neighbors. Most of them are very nice or keep to themselves. Either way I was happy with the people I lived around. The heating can be a bit much at times and it is not controlled in unit, so you will have to email them about the settings. The kitchen feels like it was just placed into the apartment. It is very small and fits one person, and the lack of ventilation above the stove is somewhat bothersome to me. I haven't had a maintenance issue so I am unsure as to how responsive they are in that regard. I will say that I wish that they had a better way of communicating with tenants. There was maintenance on piping so they shut the water off without any notification. I emailed and they were responsive to letting me know what was going on, but I feel that prior communication would have been better. Overall it has been an average experience with some experiences being better than others.
