As its name suggests, North Bossier is a neighborhood spanning north of Downtown Bossier along the eastern banks of the Red River. The community also sits 14 miles north of Downtown Shreveport since Shreveport and Bossier City’s downtown districts are just minutes from one another. The area is a mix of residential and rural, getting more rural the farther north of Downtown Bossier City you get. Amenity-laden apartments and cozy single-family homes make up the rental options of North Bossier. While shopping and dining choices are readily available in both downtown areas, more shopping and dining destinations are located within North Bossier itself along Airline Drive.

Property Ratings at Stockwell Landing Apartment Homes
I've had to file 7 plus complaints about noise after hours of running ,banging and loud music upstairs . Always trash everywhere , broken exit and emergency signs. My unit was not cleaned upon move in , I later found several item belonging to previous tenants. A/C in my unit stayed on cause it could never reach desired temp of 70 degrees in summer. The entrance and exit gate has been broken the whole two years I've rented here. Actual my worst experience with apartment.

We were shown the model unit, but unit that we moved into was completely filthy and had broken and non-working appliances. Last tenant items were left behind, floors dirty, walls dirty, bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Definitely want “move-in ready”. Ask them to let you see the actual unit you are moving into to save your time with the foolery. Maintenance does not know how to fix things and will promise they have it fixed when it’s actually not fixed. Very overpriced for the apartment and the expectations that they set far as being luxury apartments. You have to take out your own trash and they dumpsters are far and few. They definitely should offer valet trash included with rent. Gym is very small and you can tell it’s neglected. Office staff and maintenance are friendly, but are clearly lazy and just go through the motions. Hate we signed this contract.

We always enjoy reading such positive reviews! Thank you!
Large living space, granite countertops. Pets allowed.
I think some reviews are from people who don't understand they are living in an apartment. Yes, parking is going to be an issue, yes you will have to deal with noise living in a community this close to other people so it's not fair to leave a bad review based on that way of thinking. First, I do enjoy living here. If I didn't, then I would move somewhere else. But I'll be transparent and list issues I see that some people might have a concern over: -Pool is always out of service. -Gate is always broken. -Trash compactor is not an ideal solution for the community so trash is left out. -Lighting around the property is not regularly maintained so parts of the property are pitch black at night. -Lawn is well maintained but levels 2 and 3 never get blown of lawn debris/leaves/dirt/bugs/etc. You'll have to use your own blower to keep your hall clean. -A group of loud obnoxious trucks rev their engines constantly. -Speed bumps would be nice as some people speed through the parking lot with no regard for kids or people around. -If you don't lock your car doors, people rummage through it. Probably because of the gate always being open and no lighting around the property which encourages theft. -No on-site officer anymore. Staff has always been nice to me, no issues there at all. I feel like it's always someone different though when I go to the office.

Thank you for your review as we appreciate your honest feedback. We are pleased to say that the pool has been repaired and is open. Also, we have heard from other residents and recently added dumpsters around the property to address the compactor concerns. Our courtesy officer is available if needed by calling the office after hours and requesting management. Please feel free to reach out to us at (stockwelllandingleasing@morganproperties.com) - so we can discuss your concerns further if needed.
Been here maybe a month or less and while the look and landscape is alright, other things could be way better. Upon move in several things needed to be fixed in my apartment. I had to place in a work task even though clearly it should’ve been done prior to move in. Constant noise by trucks at night or very early parts of the morning is annoying. The walls are way too thin. It’s only one garbage dump on site which is very inconvenient. The security gate is always open and rarely working. To top it off there is no parking at night. I have to park way down away from where I live which sucks. While the inside of the apartment is decent, property management could do/be way better for what residents pay.

There is literally no parking spaces available at night, you have no choice but to park in no parking zones and risk getting a ticket and for some reason they have to shut the water off every other day, im literally wanting to break my lease over this:(
This place is awful. So is management. The pool was closed for about 3 months in summer due to lack of care. The fixtures and flooring is soooo cheap. Parking is a nightmare and staff could care less about anything. The walls are so thin and the apartment just isn’t kept up. They charge you 25 dollars per bag if trash is left out overnight. I’m Human and forgot to bring it to the only trash dumpster on site which is inconveniently located. The air conditioner and appliances are worthless and need work. They halfway fix problems. Don’t let the show apartment fool you. The real apartments look nothing like it. Do not move here! The most awful place I’ve ever lived. Ever

Happy to be out of here! A year ago I would have been happy to give this place 5 stars. But now, no way! The guys do a good job keeping the place clean. But don't seem to have the money or support from the office stuff to keep the place running (a/c, pools etc) A/c units are going out all the time. Pool is greener then I've ever seen any pool. Poor background checks being done. Rent is to high to live in a place were the gate only works sometimes and a pool that will have you glowing in the dark after a swim..

If you are a smoker, this is the place for you. Even the main maintenance worker with the Toyota Avalon drives around dropping cigarettes. The walls are paper thin so your neighbors can smoke you out of your appertment. The trash compactor is always full or broke and every weekend that area of the complex smells like a dump. The gym is a joke I have to fix it half the time before I use it. But they redid the carpet witch is the last thing I care about.

The ladies in the front office are knowledgeable, friendly and go out of their way to assist. They plan activities for the complex, year round. The grounds are impeccable. Safety is excellent; several active and retired police and sheriff officers live onsite. Maintenance is by far the best I have ever experienced. An example of this: Three summers ago, we had a serious heat wave. I was released from the hospital after having surgery and an hour after I got home, the air conditioning quit. After hours, maintenance showed up and determined it couldn't be fixed that night, as it needed a new part. Instead of telling us to "tough it out or go to a hotel", the maintenance man made a phone call and asked that we give him a few minutes and he would be right back. Ten minutes later in came back and said that he was moving us over to the apartment that management uses to "show" until they could get the air conditioner fix. He had gone over to put sheets on the bed. I don't know of any other apartment complex that would have done that. The gym is kept clean and up-to-date. Pool is always clean and this year is going to saltwater. For those griping about the noise - you live in an apartment! If you don't like the noise, move to a single home. As far as the bike situation, it had become as safety hazard and a problem with bikes being left out and stolen. As far as grills, it is a state law - get an inside grill! As far as maintenance, if you have a filthy apartment or are doing something that is against your lease, it is maintenance personnel's responsibility to report it. In other words, if you are doing your part and being a good tenant and neighbor, you will have a wonderful time living here!

On the surface, this looks like a really nice place to live. They have the most open floor plans in Bossier City/Shreveport, as most of the floor plans in apartments around here make a total waste of the square footage in apartments. HOWEVER: Noise - If you live in a floor level apartment, you will hear every foot step of your neighbors above. If your neighbor talks on their cell phone in their bedroom at 1am as mine does nightly, you will hear 99% of their conversation. There is ZERO type of noise reduction build into these apartments. I would be shocked if the walls separating apartments were anything more than just the drywall. In this alone, you have the potential to get the worse sleep of your life while you live here. Unsatisfactory. Rent - Your rent will be raised when you go to renew your contract. My last two apartments I had in different towns the rent never changed for the years I lived there. First renewal here and my rent went up. Storage - You are not allowed to grill on the screened in patios. However, if you leave a grill outside underneath the stair well, they will tag it and claim they will throw it away. A lot of the kids around here park their bicycles underneath the stairwells and it bothers not a single person. I think it is really cool that so many of the kids ride their bikes so much. Yet the management will tag 20 kids bikes saying they will be thrown away if not moved in the next 48 hours. Are you kidding me? They bother no one, and if outside, they don't mess up the carpet in the apartments. This is probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and it is highly aggravating to think they would even threaten to throw away a bunch of bikes that belong to responsible kids that like to be outside. Do not live here.
