Nestled just north of I-30, North Arlington is an idyllic neighborhood with a distinct suburban atmosphere. Wide roads are lined with lush trees and modern homes throughout North Arlington, while North Collins Street touts plenty of familiar commercial offerings, from chain restaurants to national retailers.
North Arlington’s sprawling parks and scenic golf courses stand in stark contrast to the bustling environment on the southern side of I-30, which is where you’ll find popular destinations like Six Flags Over Texas, Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), and AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). North Arlington residents enjoy a quiet place to come home to as well as convenience to some of the Metroplex’s most exciting amenities.

Property Ratings at Stone Lake
Apartment is nice But their charges are ridiculous. I lived here for almost 22 months. 1st years was ok but after I renew my lease for second year suddenly things starts to changed. 1st while renew they raised the rest by almost 180 a month. my water bill starts to rise for $60-70 to $150 and above. I have to go always and complain every month. they took 3 month to investigate and give me some credits telling me it was fault of water meter. They never fixed the water meter and they keep on telling I used the water. I moved to the house 20 days earlier before the end of lease and my final bill of water was 275 for just 40 days again and 445 for carpet cleaning. I did the carpet cleaning before I moved out and told them but still they charged me. central billing send me 690 bill at final including deduction of $100 deposit. so please avoid this apartment, they are very unresponsive and rude.
We just moved here and have had a negative experience. There is a lack of communication with management. Nothing gets fixed when you put work orders in. We have also have not had a working refrigerator for three weeks. To even get our fridge replaced we needed to go to the front office every day to discuss the status of our fridge because they can’t contact us or email us back to let us know. The property may seem nice, but it’s not functioning properly.
I recently moved in from out of state. My boyfriend and I came to visit in February and fell in love. The office staff was understanding throughout the process. Being distant, the office team handled everything in a timely fashion via email up until the day of move in. 2nd night in and we have no complaints. Very clean, quiet, and peaceful
I visited the property and fell in love with it, the staff are very warming and very nice, I just moved in and have not had any problems, turned in move in sheet and the things that were out was fixed the next day. The property has a lake also it is lovely. I am happy to call this property HOME.
I have lived in this apartment for two years now. Both me and my Husband with no intentions of moving out coz i do not like moving from one apartment to the other. But am now forced to move because I can not continue to pay a water bill of $300, $250,$150 and who knows. I made this complain 6 months ago and we agreed that I was not going to renew my lease until the water problem is solved. I work in Weatherford Tx, that means I come home just for the weekend sometimes and also my husband is a truck driver who comes home once a month, we have no kids its just the two of us, so tell me who uses the water for the bill to be more than 5 people living in a house???????? anyway am frustrated and apartment hunting was not something I was looking forward to? just checked my bill for this month again and its over 150, seriously do i have a money making machine ? The old management used to adjust my bill until the solved the issue because hey its not my fault. For some reason management was changed or rather we have new people now and i raised the same issue and told them its something that has been going on but listen i have been told to keep paying the outrageous water bill until the problem is solved. My lease is supposed to be up this month and wanted to renew it but i could not because of the water bill, had to give my notice because they would not transfer me to a different place. Now am stuck with a month to month till June and some high water bill. I am very disappointed with this apartment that i have considered to be homely since I moved in.

Parking is a huge problem here. Having known that i booked a detached garage, but i was given a garage mile away on the other side of the property. Everyday morning i walk one mile to get to the garage and then walk back one mile on my way back from work. It has been a miserable experience. You can see they mentioned $95 for a detached garage, but they are charging me $120 for a detached garage.

Have lived here for almost 10 yrs., only reason I am leaving is relocating out of town. The complex is beautiful, clean, and quiet! The manager, Tonya, and her staff have been tremendous to work with, the maintenance guys do a great job and get it done quickly when there is an issue! Was very fortunate to have been able to call Stonelake Apts. home for the past 10 years!!!

I recently toured the property with the business manager, Tayler. She was fantastic! She obviously knows the property really well, showed me around all the amenities and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Everyone I've met in the office so far has been friendly and helpful, and the property was clean and well maintained when I visited! There's a beautiful lake right on the property and I'm really excited to move in!

I don't advise anyone to stay here! These people are scamming hardworking citizens daily! Has anyone ever heard of paying $300.00 for application and processing fee? No! It does not cost $300.00 for an application and processing fee which is used to run your background, and credit check. Taylor (leasing agent in the office) informed us that the $300.00 would be used to "hold" our apartment. We're thinking okay great, we're relocating from another state and we can finally stop spending money in hotels. Jonquil (leasing agent) contacts us two days later to inform us that our credit was denied. We were told we can't get any of our $300.00 back and that our paperwork would be sent to their regional manager for approval and there is still a 50/50 chance of us getting approved or not. We've tried contacting corporate and cannot get through at all. The property manager also stated that she was too busy to talk to us and was informed to send an email, well it has been a week and she still has not replied to my email! If you want scammers gambling with your money, then apply here! Not to mention these apartments are blacklisted! I should have known these apartments weren't worthy of my time after I saw a couple of residents coming in with complaints. This was a horrible "welcome" to Texas! Oh yeah, the leasing agents could use a little more training and actually take the time to study corporate's policy!
Best property we seen while shopping the area! highly recommended!
I recently visited Stone Lake Apartments and fell in love. The staff has been very helpful in assisting me in finding my next apartment home. The complex is very well kept and apartments are well designed to give you that comfy home feeling. I am looking forward to moving in soon when the floor plan I am looking for becomes available.

My experience as a perspective resident has been just terrible! I was quoted a price verbally and in writing after viewing a unit and awaited a call back for a potential further price adjustment. Not only did I not get a return call but when I called back the next day, I was advised in a very unprofessional manner that not only was I going to get a further price adjustment but the price I was quoted would not be honored. The assistant property manager (Kayla) and the property manager (Tanya) were both rude and unhelpful. Not only did they not honor the price quoted to me, their tone was full of attitude and very confrontational....large disappointment for a place I was ready to call home.
I have had a horrible experience at this apartment complex Never seen a staff that is so dumb .. there is a new girl in the front who does not know what she is doing at all , Poorly maintained apartments The quality of the bath tab is so bad , needs to be cleaned often just because the fittings are so old Toilet bowl will get stained often , so will the bath tub They never attend to service requests , just waiting for my lease to get over so I can move out ! Bad Bad Apartment Complex !

We suppose to move in yesterday. We went in office 1 week ahead to make sure everything would be ready on the date we move because we need to set up an appointment for mover as well. Here what we got in the day that we pick up the key, the concrete floor inside apartment(NO CARPET!!!!), the wall wasn't repainted yet, garage door broken plus the garage remote wasn't ready for us. Luckily we have appointment for mover on this Tuesday otherwise last night we would have a full load of truck and have no idea where would we sleep. We will see what they can do for us today. We hope they will be able to recarpet, repaint all the wall in the apartment ,fix the garage door and have remote ready for us today. Otherwise we have to pay reschedule fee for mover extra charge that we will not be able to move out from this apartment on time. This is the bad sight , very bad experience so far. I should believe all the previous review. I will give and update how would they take a responsibility for this issue. So far right now I don't even wanna give a star for them.
My husband and I lived here for a year. It is a very nice and quiet area. We made quick friends with the older white bearded maintenance man. He was friendly and he really liked our dog so anytime we had any maintenance issue he came right away. That's about all the nice things I can share. Parking was the worst. We were always afaird to leave our apartment on the weekends because if we came later than 6 there was no where to park. My family would come over and they would park and we had to go pick them up because of how far they parked. We paid for covered parking but because the area we lived in all the close covered parking was taken so our covered parking wasn't even near our building. It was four buildings down. When our lease was up we planned on staying in the complex but moving to a less populated building. Our manager "Gary" not sure what his name was... Said he had an apartment available and told us to come in on a certain day and time. When we went into meet with him on said day and time he wasn't there. We went in the next day and said that he had already rented it out. I understand business but common curiosity tells you to call us and let us know someone has rented it not give us the run around. My last complaint was the valet trash pick up. They picked up trash three days a week. Even though they wrote it in every newsletter people didn't care. I would come home on Saturday and people had trash out on their curb. It was awful because of course squirrels would get into it over night then there would be trash all over the streets. As we were getting close to moving out the started to enforce parking rules. It helped a little but not as much as it could've. "Gary" assured me that tow trucks would become millionaires with all the cars they would be towing. I never even saw a tow truck come into our complex. Stone Lake wasn't horrible but if you strongly dislike having to drive around in circles looking for parking spot after you get off work, I would not recommend moving here.
DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH PARKING FOR RESIDENTS Response from complex is to tow permitted residents when forced to park in other areas. With no willingness to work out the matter. Another response from management was to call the towing company they use to have other residents guests towed from the property.
Stone Lake Apartments is quite simply the worst apartment complex I've ever experienced. If you're looking to rent a mediocre apartment with under trained and inept management look no further. If you're looking to fight for parking spots every day, look no further. If you're the type of person that enjoys calling apartment management every single month just to alter your bill for the same reason, look no further. They seem nice at first, but while time goes on it's a monotonous drain on your every day life induced by sheer neglect and complete incompetence. As many others have noted the parking is horrendous, if you're not one to opt for covered parking or the garage attachment you're guaranteed a bad time. The "gated" community mentality is something this place somewhat conveys, however the gates were broken and stuck open almost half of my two year stay. For future reference if you do plan on obtaining residence here, broken gates are not means for a discount or any sort of reimbursement for faulty security measures. The lease does not imply gated community, even though there's literally gates. Pest control for porches or balconies entails knocking live wasp nests on the tenants below or yards below, as bug spray was too expensive. At one point we had a near death experience for a pet, due to severe wasp stings from these practices. Good luck to anyone that plans on renting here. I wish the reviews were more accurate before we moved in.
Property Manager at Stone Lake, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Feedback is important to us here at Stone Lake. We learn from these experiences and work diligently to turn around any customer dissatisfaction. Stone Lake implemented a parking permit program to assist with the parking areas that are not as ample as in some places. This process began in the fall of 2015. We had a huge success with this transition. There has been a hold on towing for several reasons during the winter months. Occupancy generally drops during the winter months and parking is not much of an issue as compared to the spring through fall seasons. As of March 12th, 2016 the towing company stickered the vehicles without permits. On Monday March 21st, 2016 towing will be in full force once again, and any vehicle violating these rules will be removed from the property. The access gates that are located on the north and south of the clubhouse have been working unless a resident or guest knocks them off track by ramming into the gate. Usually this happens by people not pressing there remotes and following someone into the community. We unfortunately have no control over this. We try our best to make the repairs as quickly as we can. However, depending on the damages the vehicle causes this may require parts to be ordered and welding to be done occasionally. Sometimes we might even have to call out a 3rd party vendor to come handle the repairs. For future reference, anytime you need pest control to come out, they are available to you every Monday except for the 3rd Monday of the month. In regards to wasp nest, maintenance is more than willing to spray and remove the nests in case pest control is not here on the day you need them. As for the account charges, I’m unsure of what you are referring to all charges are done automatically each month. If you still have issues with this please come speak to management. We strive to have excellent customer service for all our residents and their guests here at Stone Lake. We encourage residents that have issues to visit directly with the on-site staff to communicate any issues they may be experiencing, negative and positive. Feedback is how we learn and grow. We wish you the best and thank you again for your post. Warmest Regards ~Stone Lake Apartment Homes
Been here 2 yrs so far it's been pleasant living here friendly stay peaceful neighbors. Love living here.
This property has literally the worst parking situation I have ever seen at an apartment complex. They started a new sticker program a month ago to fix the problem but they aren't actually towing anyone... Beware! Many tenants have multiple cars and there is very little open parking. We asked about getting covered parking or a garage and they said none were available. It may be because the garages are used for storage and people don't actually park in them. They are very good at deflecting this issue. There are fewer open parking spaces than units. Obviously that is an issue.
I love the Stonelake apartments. Great staff. Great community. Would recommend to anyone!
