Property Ratings at Stone Loch
Having lived here for over a year now, I have really enjoyed Stone Loch. Rachel, Sarah, Marissa and all of the maintenance staff are so welcoming. They have answered all my emails/questions in person quickly and respectfully. I don't want to discredit the experience of others, but every time I've communicated with management here has been positive. If you are a normal and polite person then you will more than likely enjoy your time here. We love the inside and outside of our apartment (2b2b) and the landscaping is maintained nicely. Maintenance is also awesome and comes within 0-2 days of the request. We have also not had any issues with our trash valet being picked up. The bad reviews are mostly because of parking, and these seem to be from people who can't seem to follow the simply laid out rules. Visitors get free parking anywhere inside the complex until 7 pm, it is only overnight guests that have to register. We have not had any trouble finding spots for ourselves or our guests. I actually appreciate that this apartment follows through on the expectations that they've set for residents and removes vehicles that are not supposed to be here. If you're expecting 10+ spots just for you and your visitors then this apartment isn't for you. We really enjoy the community here. There are lots of families, friendly people and cute pets. I've had a great experience and we will be staying here another year!
Now that I finally have time to review this place. They don’t even deserve 1 star smh. The worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They gave me the run around for 2weeks just to get approved. I was chasing them for updates, because they would never update me. Don’t pick up the phone in the office like never lol so I actually had to drive there a couple times just to catch someone smh. My first day there, they closed for company holiday lunch. They put up a signed they will be back at 2pm, at 2.45pm doors still locked and of course no one answers the phone. Property manager never ever to be found, when I expressed my experience to her, she argued that I was rude ?? like ma’am I applied on the 17th for move in date on the 28th it’s past your operating hours on the 29th and I’m still chasing you for the lease!!! completely waste of my time. 1 star for refunding me my application and admin fee. I applied at Fidelis apartments on the 30th and had my lease on the 2nd, literally 2 days later! So yea don’t waste your time with this place, trust me you save yourself lots of headache.
This place is nice because it’s new. You can only have 1 guest per week! Zero parking/huge speed bumps and there are plenty of them. Gates always broken. Office NEVER answers the phone or returns emails and the manager is completely unprofessional. Area is really good and there are much better places.
I would highly recommend living at this apartment complex. The management is truly incredible! Rachel the manager & Adriana the assistant manager are so incredibly kind & helpful! My husband & I lived here for over a year & a half & never had an issues! I always felt safe, had great neighbors & overall had an amazing experience here! If we wouldn’t of bought a house we would’ve definitely resigned our lease! The complex is always very clean. The maintenance men are extremely respectful, kind & always did a great job! Along with their response time was fast acting. 10/10 place to live!
I moved into this apartment complex April 1st 2021 and just moved out last week. I only leased for a year and I was sooooo ready to be over with the lease. I initially moved into these complex because they are beautiful, however I would rather be at less modern apartments and have better management. 1. The gate 1 was always broken and they would leave it broken for literally over a month. 2. Gate remote never worked, one time I was stuck outside the gate because gate one was broken and gate two would not open with the remote. 3. Guest parking policy is ridiculous. 1 guest PER WEEK. So if my parents wanted to come over a second time in a week they had to park at HEB and get picked up. 4. I submitted a request to management for pest control and I never got updates and no one showed up. 5. In the middle of my lease I asked them to quote me on a apartment with the extended patio and they never reached out to me about this request. 6. We have to register guest in their office or email, however they are closed on Sunday’s. If you want family to come over on Sunday you can’t have them park at the property or they will be towed. It’s been a terrible experience, don’t let the luxury fool you. Management is terrible and you will never be able to have guest over.
I live here currently, love my neighbors and my place. However, parking is horrible after 9pm, good luck having friends and family over. There’s only a few parking spots for them and if you don’t register than they’re going to get towed. ?? Management sucks just like any other apartment complex
The apartments were great initially, when I signed my lease in March. However, management avoids responding to concerns and allows situations to escalate. There are no guest parking. The policy for guest parking has changed in the middle of a leasing term, which is incredibly inappropriate. As paying resident, we are allowed one guest for one day out of 7 days. Thats incredibly unreasonable. Once my lease ends in March, I will be moving to another complex.
Stone Loch has been a lovely place to live, offering everything I was looking for and is run by wonderful staff.
Really love the staff and appearance of the complex/apartment, with beautiful interior and amenities. Parking is a 0/10 and loss of guests without prior permission has occurred as a result of the parking issue.
I am so disappointed! I literally moved all the way from Chicago to Houston and chose to live at Stone Loch Apartments. First off, they have ROACHES! I keep my spaces clean, but it’s like you can’t prevent them! I am extremely scared of bugs, so this is a bummer for me. Next, there’s hardly ever any parking, yet they tow your cars anyway. Walls/floors are extremely thin. Kind of expensive. It’s a beautiful place to live and management is friendly! However, the cons outweigh the pros for me.
I would never promote StoneLoch apartments to anyone and it is not the rental price and it is not the amenities rather it is the way StoneLoch nickel and dime you for every possible cent that they can make off you and by the same token are very lax when it comes to fixing things that are wrong and overall taking care of the property in other words for the money we are paying shouldnt pool be open from early in the morning till late at night technically the pool is open from 8 AM but no one is allowed to go out there until 10 AM to give the man time to clean the pool rather than spending a few bucks and having a pool cleaner come before hours. That is just one example of Manny just like that and that is why I called the management here at StoneLoch a one-way street. Theyre lackadaisical and very relaxed attitude about fixing things in your apartment that are wrong is diametrically opposed to their attitude when a tenant comes up short on anything whether it be pets or rent owed or parking or anything and I cant stress this enough this is the worst one-way street situation I have ever seen or heard about in rentals and I have owned real estate properties and I have lived in them I am 67 Years old and Ive lived in many different places
We have now lived here 3 mths and it’s flown by. We moved from out of state and knew nothing about the area. We have family in Texas but they live in different areas which made it hard to zoom in on a certain area. We stumbled on Stone Loch and talk with Keisha. She made us feel like we would do just fine here! And we have, Rachel and the rest of the crew along with Keisha have made us feel like we have a home in area that we feel so lost in. The apartments are safe, clean, and any issues are handled right away. There are a lot of families here! It’s pets friendly.. oh and it doesn’t hurt that it’s in a top rated school district(Klein). Close to new shops and everything you need..

I moved in back in December and things were great no issues, a pretty quite community. Here recently as the buildings have filled up, its become hard to find parking. Theres really not enough spots for as many building as we have. People not picking up after their dogs has started to become an issue. The front gates are constantly breaking. It takes weeks for them to get fixed. Recently speed bumps were added and they are ROUGH. Wish they wouldve spent the money that they used for the speed bumps to get some gates that actually work. Overall, it is a beautiful community and I havent had any issues with management or maintenance.

I love my apartment. The way that the floorplan is situated, I only share one wall with neighbors and never hear anyone. The furnishings, such as colors, floors, and hardware and pleasing to the eye and look very high-end.

We moved in when the apartments were brand new before Covid. Apartments were great when no one lived there of course. Once we got more neighbors it was hard to find parking. There are options for a carports for $75 or a garage garage for $150. Maintenance is a hit or miss sometimes they come right away sometimes they take their time. There is not really much visitors parking in the complex. It’s been 1 year since living here and we had our taillights stolen from our vehicle and filter for ac changed only once. Management did make some changes to help prevent the robberies we’ve experienced with our vehicle (really not much they can do, it can happen anywhere). Overall it’s not a bad experience.

We love living here. Everything is clean and very well kept. The entire staff is personable and knowledgeable. The maintenance staff is prompt and on point. I love that the mail center is inside the community building and requires key access during non business hours.

My son moved from Kansas City to Houston for his first real job right after graduating college. For a new tenant, the leasing process is not for the faint of heart. We visited Stone Loch and, Gabby, one of the leasing agents, was very sweet and helpful. She gave us a tour of the 1 bedroom model and my son knew he had found the place he wanted to make his first home. He filled out the application and paid the $99 fee. Gabby was very helpful through that process. The next day we went back to verify what else he needed to provide to get the process rolling (he was starting his new job in a week and needed to get settled). There was a different leading agent there and when we made our inquiry she abruptly told us she did NOT have time to pull his file and look it as she had appointments (her exact words). I guess our time and getting his $99 did not obligate them to answer questions anymore. Her rude response was enough to tell me this was not where he needed to be. When leasing an apartment, it's not just about the apartment but it is important to know you have helpful, kind people to work with you if you have questions or concerns. Thank you Gabby for the help you gave us but the other female agent needs to go. I noticed another person mention this rude behavior too.

The staff is super rude , I been living here for a month and I regret it , the apartments are really nice but you won’t feel like it’s home, thanks to the treats.

Stone loch is absolutely amazing. This complex has an amazing staff/management. Work orders are completely in a very timely matter and the apartments are beautiful.

Parking is very difficult to find. Youll only have a good parking if you purchase a garage or car port which is extremely silly to me.

The maintenance staff is absolutely fantastic. They are very tentative, and knowledgeable. Explain how all the work is going to take place, even given me tips to ensure I operate equipment correctly. ****** Maintenance staff noticed my 2 year old was taking a nap, and he was sure to not interrupt her napping*******

Ive been at Stone Loch for a month and have been extremely happy! I wanted to find a place that was both beautiful and safe; you definitely get both those things and more. I love it so much that even one of my friends is moving to Stone Loch next week!
