Fort Wayne combines the bustle of a city with the laid-back charm of a small Midwestern town. North Fort Wayne, which incorporates several smaller neighborhoods and an array of parks, sits about two and a half miles north of Fort Wayne’s center. Interstate 69 zips directly through the neighborhood, making it an ideal base for people who need to commute into the city.
Find an apartment available for rent near the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and fuel your children’s need for adventure. At the zoo, kids of all ages can enjoy the opportunity to hand-feed the giraffes, a privilege not often found at many other zoos. This zoo also offers five different rides, including the Z.O. & O. Railroad that lets you enjoy the park in its entirety from the comfort of a train.
Coyote Creek Golf Club and Colonial Oaks Golf Club, both of which lie within the confines of the area, give sport-loving locals plenty of room to unwind.

Property Ratings at Stone Pointe Village
This was a great apartment when we lived here in 2019. The staff were super friendly and the apartment was very cozy. Community is quite and well kept up and in a great location. Overall it was a great place to live. My only complaint was the windows did not keep heat in the winter.
I’m heading into my 6th months onto my lease and so far it’s been a really great experience. I was looking into apartments and it was a little difficult since the high demand of houses and apartments and the cost. One day my co worker referred me to Stone Pointe and checked it out because he was always saying how amazing his apartment was. When I called I was greeted by a nice lady ( Lisa ) and was told that they had a 1 bedroom apartment ready for me next week. I was surprised because almost every where in Fort Wayne was a minimum of 6 months. By the time I moved in there was a gift basket waiting for me on the breakfast bar and a very cleaned apartment. There were a couple things that just need replaced or was just fine but their maintenance was quick to fulfill what I noted on their check list they have created. During the winter weather I thought I had to shovel the snow and salt my own patio but again was surprised because they had their own team to do just that from plowing the parking lots, shoveling the sidewalks and patio, and salting them. They have letter community news letters that keep you updated with local events and things happening downtown so if you’re always wondering what to do you have a calendar to find stuff to do. The only down side of living by a high school is that you do have to deal with the heavy traffic in/out since there’s only one entrance/ exit but it’s not that big of deal.
Pros: - appliances were all in good shape - in unit washer/drier (was brand new in my unit) - very convenient location - friendly, reasonable staff - well kept grounds and amenities - private entrances to units - utilities were fairly cheap (studio unit) - nice countertops - surprisingly quiet given how busy the area is - plenty of parking. Unlike every other apartment I've been in... - great walk in closet and tons of storage space (though a pantry would be nice...) Cons: - a bit pricey... but that's pretty much all of north Ft Wayne at this point. - turning left onto Coldwater at peak times from the main drive is awful - no online/auto pay rent options - Northrop kids just kinda pour into Cook and Coldwater like suicidal zombies around 3... driving near the apartments/shops can be a little hairy at those times... In summary, no major complaints. No issues w neighbors or staff. Price is fine for what they offer. Would recommend.

BAD experience!!! Don't live here! I am having terrible experience with this apartment. First week I moved in, the water line behind washer and dryer exploded and it flooded everywhere. If you make work requests, most of the times they forget and you have to remind them constantly. Also, I told the management people multiple times to tell maintenance crew to call me ahead before showing up to my apartment, but they never call me ahead for the last two years. AC and heater break every season and you will be unhappy with the electricity bill. 700sqft electricity bill in the winter is like 160 dollars! The wall and windows are paper thin so there are basically no insulation so you will suffer all the winter and summer. A bird is going in and out to the air vent and there are wasp nest everywhere and they don't take care of it even though I requested three times. They don't have an online system to track your requests, so you always need to call and ask what is going on.
I love living at Stone Pointe. My husband and I were new to the area and they had the MOST outstanding customer service which helped us on in our decision to move here! They keep up with the grounds and respond to maintenance requests promptly. They follow up every time maintenance comes out to service your apartment to make sure everything went smoothly and was up to your satisfaction. The apartments here are reasonably priced as well! They have lots of great amenities too, plus a washer and dryer in our unit - that’s a must for me. We love living here and are proud to call this our home.
First off the rent is way overpriced. Second the maintenance is terrible. Didn’t give me a notice to come into my apartment, made a mess didn’t clean it up. When i said something about it to the office they just brushed it off like they didn’t care. Unprofessional.

I have lived here for 9 mos and the staff from the get go have been welcoming, friendly and very helpful with anything and everything. The only issue I had which I mentioned to the maintenance in passing was done the next day while I was gone. It had totally brightened my day to come home to. Thank you to all staff. All of you put so much time and effort into making my experience great. You have done so and then some. I appreciate all that you do.
I never lived at Stone Pointe; however, I did go there to check it out because I wanted to live there. When I went to look at it, I was still living at Arbor Lakes. After the tour, I loved the apartment I saw and was definitely interested in renting it. However, I was told that since I lived in Arbor Lakes and they, along with Wallen Hills, were a sister property of Stone Pointe, that I was NOT allowed to get an updated apartment. They told me I could get an outdated apartment as they were seeing my move as a transfer, rather than an actual move. This is completely absurd as they were still going to make me reapply, provide a new security deposit, etc. It was so frustrating and discouraging.

After moving her from the oversized, overpriced apartment community (with the golf course) down the road) I thought I was in heaven. The staff here is second to none, they are extremely friendly and understanding. I am in my second lease agreement and love this place.
Stone pointe is an excellent apartment village! The staff was great and very helpful and informative! The grounds are beautiful and well kept!
This apartment complex is within walking distance to Northrop High School. Quiet with lots of amenities, including pool and workout room. Leasing agents are very helpful & courteous.
