the have no common sense when placing tenants they placed a very large family in a 2 bedroom; that come out in the hallway every night and yell and scream, smoking pot; even in the day time they are climbing the trees screaming at each other. Yet all of us are suppose to put up with it on a daily basis, and a nightly basis. Rent is way to high here to be putting up with this stuff. Also my screen door never slides just falls off even after several times of having them fix it, its always the same. When my lease is up I'm out of this hell hole. And I would advise for no one to live here.

I lived there for 5 years and always felt safe and secure! Enjoyed the grounds that were kept up and also the peace and quiet! Living in the country! The staff always friendly and responsive to any request! Maintenance employees always professional and friendly. I had to move regrettably due to health but I will miss it! Keep up the good work Stoneridge!

If you want to have plumbing problems and floods every other day ruining your things please live here! Cold showers and mold are so fun. Also hearing gun shots while you are sleeping in the next apartment is even more fun. DONT DO IT

As someone else said, the staff lies to residents, their own staff, and especially on these reviews when they respond. The company that owns them is Edward Rose & Sons, which is a terrible, greedy, uncaring corporation who makes money off of screwing their residents and staff. The manager at Stone Ridge is lazy, unprofessional, and unresponsive. The management company, especially the bookkeeper, is extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. I have been in dispute with them for over a year over $10 but after numerous emails and calls (monthly), the bookkeeper has NEVER responded, even when the office staff at Stone Ridge has gotten involved, which isn't saying much. There's one person in the office and one maintenance person who are decent, but they're bound by corporate and the lazy residential manager. Their appliances are garbage. The grounds and corridors are full of garbage these days....I blame the manager for that. The rent is too high for the value. I've had at least 3 neighbors in my building alone who had their cars stripped of the catalytic converters recently. It took them years to finally fix my doorwall that wouldn't open more than halfway. It took them 3 separate trips to change out my AC that was full of mold and sludge.... even though one of the complaints was about a leak, but they still took 3 tries to replace the whole moldy unit. They also left the outside open to more water because they never came back to seal the big crack in the mortar above it and the open cracks around it, where you could see through to the inside! Their one good maintenance person was mind blown when he saw it and fixed it properly! It's nothing but hassle here. I would move in a heartbeat if there were any affordable rentals in this area. I blame Edward Rose & Sons for their monopoly on rent in this area, along with the economy of course.

When I moved in I called the leasing office after I looked at the oven in my unit was not cleaned. They said they ordered the oven and refrigerator for my unit will replace them soon. I did put the x marks on the resident check list. After 1 months I went to the leasing office and asked about it they said it’s Covid so there are delays in receiving the orders. Now it’s been 6months I went to the leasing office to discuss about lease renewal options and asked about the replacement of the appliances. Now they are saying we don’t remember promising those for your unit. After their answers I took the 60days notice form and left the office

Lived in stone ridge for 1 year, 9 months of witch there was a 1ft X 1ft hole in the shower. The entire wall of drywall behind ended up growing mold, causing medical problems.

I usually dont write reviews, but I had to for the staff at Stone Ridge. Tessy, Julian, and Rebecca were all very pleasant both in person and in over the phone conversation. They were very quick with my application and Rebecca called me within 10 minutes of submitting to go over the details of my application. Tessy made sure all of our questions were asked and answered and addressed all of our concerns, as well as highlighting all of the features of Stone Ridge. We appreciated the kind nature of the employees and hope to be part of the community soon. Do wish they had a recycling program, though!

My son rented his first apartment in Stone Ridge. He was very impressed with the management and staff, UNTIL his air conditioning went out. He made numerous maintenance and office requested and as of his first 90 days his air has been out more than 45 or half the time. The temps were in the 90’s plus, after finally replacing the unit it broke two days later. The Maintenance And Office are not concerned about this. As of this review, there is still no air conditioning (even though that’s the first advertised item In the listing). He has a year lease, so for now he is stuck in this sweat box. It’s been three months and they haven’t been able to totally unpack because of the excessive heat Also, the dishwasher doesn’t clean the dishes.

Hello - we're sorry that your son has gone through this experience with us. We researched the issue and found that we were troubleshooting the issue and had contractors come out and inspect and determined there was a leak. The part that is leaking is being replaced today.

This was my first apartment and for the cost and the view this apartment was amazing. My building was quiet and my neighbors were super friendly. I loved living here. 1 bedroom off the front door is small but great for a single person.

Edward Rose flat out does not care about their residents. When I was having plumbing, sewage, and mold issues, nothing was tested to make sure my health was not in danger and maintenance told me verbatim that I would need an actual plumber to come look at my sewage issues. A plumber was never called, I just had maintenance in my apartment on 8 different occasions to keep "fixing" the same issue. I got a notice of quit when I called the city to come do an inspection. DO NOT DISREGARD THE BAD REVIEWS. Stone Ridge offers incentives and discounts on your monthly rent to leave good reviews, that's how badly they need them.

Basement apartments are not worth the low cost, and should probably be lower. Even with sealed windows, the bugs and drafts are ridiculous. Plumbing is nowhere near up to code, which they did fix in my apartment when I brought it up, but I'm sure it's not the only thing that's not up to par and will remain that way until someone else that knows what they're doing steps in. Had a crack in the foundation of my bedroom that maintenance "fixed" and about a year later, my bedroom floor was sopping wet. When they came back to inspect it, I was told the glue was not properly applied and they would take it all down, dry it out, and fix it again. We'll see. When the drywall came off, there was mold on the wall and floor, as pictured. Property manager says it wasn't tested, so it's not confirmed that the discoloration was actually mold, and they are responsible for fixing the damage, not for any compensation of health hazards. Shortly after, I started having raw sewage come up my kitchen drain. Three separate work orders were filed, all requiring several visits each. Maintenance said it looks like a mainline issue that they would need an actual plumber for. A real plumber never stepped foot on the premises. My drain was snaked and claimed to be fixed all three times. I'm sure the third time was different. ?? Since it was "fixed in a timely manner" each time I reported an issue, once again Stone Ridge is not responsible for the health hazards this has caused. I will be calling the city to request some inspections for sure. I'm pretty disgusted and am very much looking forward to the end of my lease.
Stone Ridge is everything I was looking for in my first apartment and I couldn't have been more proud (or happy) of the choice I made! I'm so excited to keep on exploring and seeing what all Wixom will bring me. It's the perfect little country size town with just enough to do and just enough on the outskirts so the places aren't a million miles away. The office staff will help you with whatever, they are seriously the cutest bunch, and dogs and friendless can be found all over!! Wouldn't trade my new home for anything. So happy I ended up here and have an amazing community behind me.

I'm moving out of Stone Ridge today but I must say I've really enjoyed living here. The whole staff is warm and friendly, maintenance shows up in a timely fashion when needed, and I loved my pond view which included daily sightings of ducks, geese, egrets, and herons. If you're shopping for a place to live, call this place and ask for Tessy...she is the bomb.com!

Great stay at my location, I stayed for 3 yrs. I just opted for a bigger place that is why I moved. My neighbors were great and quiet. I appreciated the office members and maintenance were always on time. Would recommend.

Good Afternoon, I have been a resident at Stone Ridge Apartments in Wixom for three years now and my stay has been nothing less than exceptional. The staff is very professional and any time I had a maintenance request the associates came to my apartment in a timely manner and fixed everything once and for all. I would recommend these apartments to anyone searching for a place to live.

My husband and I have lived in Stone Ridge for over six years now, and we really like it here. The mixture of city and country is amazing, with the beautiful ponds, trees, and resident wildlife. I love being close to a wide variety of stores and other businesses, while at the same time being able to step outside and find something pretty to look at within walking distance of home. The ducks and geese are a lot of fun, and they remind me of my up north home, where I lived on a hobby farm raising the same. I get a kick out of the squirrels, who will run up a tree and peek around the trunk at you as you pass by, as if they JUST noticed you were there, rather than deliberately showing off for you. To interject a little humor here, I need to add that management really should attach a huge, bright neon sign to the front of their rental office, because apparently, nobody can see the darned thing and they always end up clear down at building six, trying to find it. I have personally pointed at least half a dozen people back up the road they just drove down. They are probably still searching for the rental office. ;) Management is pretty cool here, except that they change faces way too often. Julian is the only office person who has been here from the beginning of our stay, and we always get a big grin and a "hi guys" from him whenever we pass by. We get smiles and waves whenever we drive past the grounds keepers as well. It seems that everyone knows us and treats us like a pal here, and that's pretty amazing.

I moved in last July and I absolutely love my apartment. The staff is great! I always work with Julian and he is wonderful. They are so professional when it comes to business. If you have a concern, it is address asap, they are so easy to talk to and work with. I have had no problems with neighbors, appliances or any other thing with the apartment. I plan on staying here for a long time, no plans to move. The parking is great, lots of lighting, the lake view is wonderful and breath taking.

My experience with stone ridge apartments was simply amazing even though I wasn't able to rent at the time due to personal reasons the employees made my experience very pleasant. They were very knowledgeable and comforting and the views were beautiful. One leasing agent in particular (Jamie) was very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to rent an apartment with a great and helpful staff and a nice and quiet area!

Do not rent at Stone Ridge or at any other Edward Rose property. Edward Rose has a toxic company culture and it shows by the way the employees treat tenants. I was mistreated, yelled at, and interrupted on numerous occasions by multiple Edward Rose/ Stone Ridge employees; four to be exact. I would gladly name them here but I am not sure what the rules are about including names in a review. I get it, Stone Ridge is affordable. That is what drew me to them initially. The stress, however, was not worth the couple bucks I saved. It seemed like almost every interaction with their employees was a dreaded chore. Although, in full disclosure, there are two or three gentleman in the office at Stone Ridge and one lady in the Edward Rose corporate office with whom I dealt that were pleasant and helpful. The problem is, the other people were so terrible that it overshadowed those who did not seem to fit the company mold. I have no complaints about the apartments themselves, the property, or the rent amount. BUT THE PEOPLE MADE ME REGRET MY DECISION TO RENT FROM THEM.

The apartment is not so bad. The only thing is they have the older model stove. Other then that I'm happy with the apartment I've been here since March. Every time j have any issues soon as I call they come take care of it. My neighbors are not loud they are also friendly.. The apartment is right next to the freeway which is great for me cause I work in Southfield mi, I can't complain it's my second apartment and its just fine. I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Its a decent sized apartment for my girlfriend and I, all we have to deal with is our neighbor who yells at his tv and the giant spiders on our patio. Bathtub keeps clogging but they havent fixed that. Maintenance is very slow. But it has a nice veiw and reasonable rent
Great apartment complex. Convenient distance from restaurants and shopping and outdoor areas. Updated units and has a nice pool and clubhouse.

We have lived in the Stone Ridge Apartments for 3 years. The common areas are kept neat but snow removal is slow. Maintenance is also slow and poorly done. They've implemented a new work order system which seems to help but I am not holding my breath. Overall, livable.
This is what you call affordable living...all utilities included except electricity. Rental rates are great and don't go up every year like most places however the space is very small. A lot of kids in the area because of surrounding school districts. Many people complain of noise issues but I never have a problem. Guess it depends on the section. Maintenance is usually quick and on top of things, the only downfall is cheap materials, I have to have the bathtub recaulked every two months and the I have to have then fix the same leak under my bathroom sink...nothing major but still needs attention. Otherwise great place to live affordably and save money.

One of the major things I like about this complex is the nature surrounding the area. There are multiple pond views where the swans, geese, and ducks like to stay during the spring/summer. They walk to each of the ponds with their little ducklings. The maintenance staff keep the grounds clean. There is a nice pool and a gazebo near by. Tenants can also use the grills they have near the pool area. It is close to downtown Wixom, too.
Edwardrose apartments just can't be outdone. I would have loved to live in a more luxurious apartment, but my budget won't allow me to. At the rent I pay with free water and heat in the area I live, it's unbeatable!!! I
