Property Ratings at Stone Ridge
This property is not well maintained, poorly ran, and is ultimately unsafe due to failures with security.
The area is nice but the rent office needs to do better. They never answer their phone and if you have issues with noise or anything they do not care. I have been complaining about the noise from my upstairs neighbor since i moved here and nothing ever gets done about it. The positive is the area is around everything so you don’t have to travel far and the neighborhood seems quiet so far. I just recommend to make sure your neighbor is one that you can easily approach because if not you’re going to be stuck in a year lease having to deal with the noise or whatever issue you have.
My experience has been a pretty good experience so far. There were some mishaps when it came to parking and having boots on visitors cars or mine due to misunderstandings. Other than that, this is a nice community.
thank you!!! office good maint good! thank you for the work!
The apartment complex seems to be fine outside of the issues I experienced.
Complex is well maintained with nice grounds. Staff is super friendly and helpful and we always they would assist us if we needed assistance.
I like the atmosphere and the tranquility, but there is a lack of security, recording cameras.
I love it here! Everyone is very nice and helpful
I applied for a unit and was asked to submit follow up information, which I did with no problem. I tried calling the property the following day to ask about the status of my application. I called three times throughout the day and no one answered. The following day, I called the office 5 times, as well as leaving a voicemail with the company that manages the property. The following day, I received an email apologies for not responding saying that they were busy and short staffed, but I had been approved. I responded by declining the unit and stating that I want my $250 deposit returned. (It's $300 to apply, but $50 is for background check). The office refused stating that we were outside of the 48hr window. I explained this was a predatory practice due to me repeatedly attempting to call within the 48 hours but no response. This office is shifty, unreliable, slimy, dishonest, and untrustworthy. The units appear to be really nice, but PLEASE don't trust them.
Good sized apartments in a convenient location.
As a current resident who shouldn't have renewed his lease, i wouldnt move here right now. The gates have been busted for over a year, the roads had holes in them and it took a year and half to fix. In 2 years they have been run by 3 different managing company's. The current one, Lincoln Property Company, and the owners don't take resident input seriously and the way they prioritize what needs to be done is only in line with profits and not resident care. Even now they are trying to implement community "improvements" instead of listening to what the residents want and fixing the things that have been broken for years. The only reason to move here now is if you get a good deal on rent, don't mind butting heads with management a lot, and don't mind the chance of YOUR CAR getting towed out of your own spot. Yes, they decided to pair up with a terrible parking management company, against resident wishes... The only upside to this place are some of the workers in the front office. They do their best with what they are given and always have a smile. The rest isn't worth it.
I enjoy the area. My maintenence needs are always handled quickly.
This Apartment Complex really sucks!... they always think I’m a kid when i 1st walk in.... i look young, but am 29 years young!!! almost everything about them sucks ... i still have Racoons in our Attic...for at-least 6 months they have been notified and they are STILL living Above me as i type this. ...,the leasing office is more worried about getting new residents instead of trying to take care of the current ones.. i went into the office to get the towing number and she was too busy trying to sale a new apt... so i asked her if it was on the website and she said yeah, but i can’t find it... she also told me to wait outside till she finished showing a potential new resident an apartment...when she coulda of just pulled it right up... and i coulda been on my way... i still can’t find it on the website... so now I’m here complaining here because i have reached my breaking point with this place... i NEVER leave reviews, but this one really struck a nerve lol ... oh and the gated community is a joke all you have to do is walk around the gate.. it’s not fully gated and they are always broke... with pot holes in the street... their customer service sucks ... they also keep switching management at-least 3 in the past 4 years.... so i can only imagine they are eventually gonna start kicking residences out just to start remodeling these out dated kitchens... and u also can’t use a money order or check to pay rent anymore unless their online system crashes, then of course when it’s convient for them you can... then they keep going up on rent creating new fees ... such as valet trash and etc... and your threatened if you work different times from the valet service and leave your trash out before 6pm.. how am i gonna put my trash out at 6 if I’m at work from 2-1030 .. so now I’m being forced to pay for something i can’t even use??? I’m definitely counting my days in this complex...
Property Manager at Stone Ridge, Responded To This Review
I am sorry to hear that you feel you have experienced less than satisfactory customer service. It is always our intention to provide our residents with an exceptional level of service that goes beyond the resident-management experience. With that being said, I will follow up with our leasing staff to ensure that we are achieving our goals of doing so and will make any necessary tweaks to ensure we do moving forward. In regards to the ongoing raccoon issue you have been experiencing, I assure you that we are in the final phases of the process of rectifying the issue in your building and have plans to begin sealing off all access points this coming week. Please stop by the office when you have a chance as I would like the opportunity to meet you and discuss any other concerns you may have regarding your previous experiences here at Stone Ridge and how we can turn them around in a more positive direction in the future. Nikki Miller, CAM - Property Manager

Property Manager at Stone Ridge, Responded To This Review
Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Stone Ridge.
I've lived in Stone Ridge for 3 years now and was happy until they went under new management through GreyStar. The staff, with the exception of Melanie, is unprofessional and often times clueless. Nayive is usually no help whatsoever. I reported a maintenance issue to her and a week later had to go back to the leasing office because the maintenance order hadn't been done. Of course, Nayive had not put the maintenance request in. She even lost our renewal paperwork. She doesn't seem to care about the residents as Melanie does and usually won't offer support or any concrete answers to concerns or questions. I'm so unhappy living here under the GreyStar management and look forward to moving this upcoming Summer. Oh and last but not least, I was happy when we moved here because the gates were always in working order. Under the management of GreyStar that isn't the case. The gates are always open and our car was broken into last month. Of course they were no help and offered no support. I'm only providing 2 stars because Melanie is awesome and thorough and without her I'm not sure if this place would exist under the current management. I will also add that maintenance does repairs in a timely manner and records comments which is always helpful. I'm not sure what the issue is but the current management sucks!
Stoneridge is a great place to live. I have been here for four years and i haven't had any issues.
We've lived here 4 years and really like that we are able to look out our patio to a small patch of woods and that we can walk through our development and feel we are in a resort-like atmosphere. We can walk to so many restaurants, the grocery store, several convenience stores and even Walmart. Starbucks is across the street - a BIG plus for us! :-) The pool area is very nice and there is a children's pool that is only about 2 feet high and the big pool is nice and large. We did have an issue once with security not showing up when we called but they hired a new guy and we called him once because there was a strange car parked outside late at night with people sitting in it and he came RIGHT over and took care of things. The maintenance staff is great, too.
It's a great size apartment and has access to a pool, gym, parking, gated key access and close to restaurants. I like having balcony access as well. Con: Water pressure is not that great
