Designated by its increasingly commercial makeup, the long tract of neighborhoods called Ameriplex spans between Interstate 70 to the northwest and Highway 67 to the southeast, and is conveniently located just minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport. Although the bulk of the neighborhood is home to large warehouses and company buildings, a handful of small subdivisions and large lots are sprinkled throughout the area as well. Ameriplex is situated a comfortable distance of about 15 miles from Downtown Indianapolis, meaning you’ll enjoy suburban peace and quiet while still being close to the heart of the city. There’s a diverse mix of rentals here, mainly single-family homes, but modern mid-rise apartment complexes as well.

Property Ratings at Stone Ridge Flats and Townhomes
To start with, the unit we toured was not the one we got. The unit we got was dirty and smelled like urine, my roommate and I got cleaner and a black light and the carpet was covered in urine. We spent almost $100 of our own money cleaning the carpets. Maintenance team took weeks to fix things, plumbing was constantly messing up. We had maintenance in and out constantly, and they would say they fixed something and it would break again the next day. The only time they came in a timely manner was when our toilet flooded and was leaking into the downstairs apartment. The office team had no communication and would call us multiple times to answer and sign documents we already had done, they would argue with us and then look at our lease info to see we were right and apologize. Unexplained fees are charged for everything. To make matters worse, there was a shooting in the complex and nothing was communicated to residents. I walked out my door to an entire S.W.A.T team by my apartment and was absolutely horrified. These apartments are overpriced and I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

We're truly sorry to hear about the multiple issues you encountered during your tenure with us. Please accept our apologies for the condition of the unit upon your move-in. We understand how inconvenient it must have been for you to clean it yourself and we assure you this is not our standard. Maintenance delays and miscommunication from our team are certainly things we need to address urgently, ensuring they do not recur in future. We regret that our staff left a negative impression due to incompetence in managing documents and communication. Also, we take concerns about safety extremely seriously and apologize for any distress or unease that incident involving law enforcement may have caused. Your feedback is thoroughly noted as these experiences will help us reassess our services for better tenant satisfaction in future. Again, we deeply regret your experience was less than satisfactory.
Live there for 4 years, first couple years was great third-year not-so-great fourth-year new neighbor attacking woman in the parking lot .drugs ,people overdosing .cars getting broken into , a resident getting into a shooting with people breaking into his car.

Please know we're always looking for ways to improve safety measures at our property, and your feedback has been noted for immediate attention.
We lived at StoneRidge in a townhouse for nearly a year. Nothing, but great experiences. Starting with setting up the initial lease with Brian. And working with other office members, such as Gia and Karissa. The maintenance crew has been phenomenal with our very few and minor issues with the new townhouses. We found the mile loop around the complex to be very peaceful and serene. We would have stayed longer if our lives did not move us to Virginia. Thanks again Stoneridge!

Thank you for this wonderful review! We are glad you enjoyed your time at Stone Ridge! AMP Residential Management Team
We lived at Stoneridge apartments for over a year and a half and were fairly pleased with the quality of the apartments and kindness of the staff. However, we were frequently woken up after midnight by noisy neighbors yelling in the parking lot or playing music loud enough to hear with all windows closed as late as 3am (we are in our 20's and thought we were used to loud apartments, but this has been the loudest by far). In addition, when it was time to extend our lease, we were told that our rent would be increasing by over 150%. This was after being told months earlier that an extension on our lease would be no problem. After deciding to move out rather than paying the unreasonably high increase in rent, we were charged huge fees for only giving a 45 day notice instead of 60 days. The corporate office was unreasonable and unwilling to work with us on the issue. BE CAREFUL to read all fine print and make sure you have written documentation of ALL encounters with the Stoneridge staff if you want to avoid being penalized, and expect large increases in rent cost after your initial lease is up.
We rented a townhouse from a Stone Ridge and loved it! We would not have moved out but our family situation changed and we needed more square footage in a home. The office is always very polite and maintenance is wonderful! They are always on top of things that need to be fix and very respectful! Would highly recommend Stone Rigde!

We are thrilled to hear you had such a positive experience with Stone Ridge! Your kind words about our office and maintenance staff truly mean a lot. We always strive to provide top-notch service and we're pleased to learn that we were successful in these efforts. Best of luck to you in your new home, we'd love to accommodate you again if any future changes bring you back our way!
I have lived at Stone Ridge for over a year and have really enjoyed it. We have a 3 bedroom unit in the back of the property. It is quiet and comfortable. We have had the occasional maintenance issue while living here and each time it has been dealt with promptly once reported. The office staff is always very nice when I've dealt with them. I've seen some reviews for people complaining about the price of rent for holding over on their lease for a month or so, or being sued. Everything is very clearly spelled out in your lease agreement. Most apartments I have lived in do have a very high cost to extend by only one or two additional months, while not exactly friendly, this is certainly not uncommon. If you don't pay rent and get evicted, it is an expensive process, and no complex is just going to eat the legal fees just because of your irresponsibility. If you pay your rent on time and are responsible with your finances, you don't get sued :) When it came time for our renewal, the new rates were understandably higher but well within the expectations of a normal 4-5% increase. My roommate and I have really enjoyed living here. The location and staff have been fantastic. We move in a couple months only because I am working on a different side of the city. Would definitely stay longer if it was more friendly for my commute.

Located on the SW side of Indy minutes from the airport 465 and 70. Has a country feel. Very quite. I have been here one year and have never seen one cop here for any incidents. Feel very safe and secure. They are very affordable. 3 bedrooms run around $850. They are very nice clean apartments. Maintance is always very prompt.

We take pride in offering great amenities, convenience, and a friendly atmosphere for our remarkable residents like you. Thank you for your kind words and continued residency – we look forward to many more years together!
These apartments are probably some of the most reasonably priced in the Indianapolis area. However that comes with a down side. Cheap paint, cheap carpets, almost no parking for my particular set. There is a pool but I can get from one side to the other in like 10 steps. The staff has improved dramatically since moving in 3 years ago. If I was able to I would have moved.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We regret to hear some aspects of the apartment did not meet your expectations. Your remarks about parking and refurbishment are noted, as they present an opportunity for us to improve our resident's experiences in future. We appreciate your mention about the improvement in our staff services over the years, as we strive to offer high standard amenities and services at affordable prices.
Just moved in a month ago but these apartments are so nice. The grounds are kept clean and the staff is very helpful. I've had to call maintenence out to fix my sink and bedroom door but they came out next day if not same day and fixed every thing I asked. Neighbors are quiet. They even have a dog park out here! The office is being renovated right now and the exercise room is being updated so it will be even better. They have a laundry facility that only cost 1.50-1.75 each which is cheaper than some laundry mats. They have a pool and a hot tub also! 9am-9pm!! I can't wait for many years to come here. BTW. Check on their website for prices, that's how I found my low low rate!:)

This is a great apartment and apartment complex for anyone looking to get their first apartment on their own, or someone looking to down size! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the apartment and entire complex is taken great care of. Pool and fitness area is nice, and plenty of ponds to fish or relax by!
