Property Ratings at Stonebridge Apartments
Excellent location, apartment layout and spacious with very responsive maintenance and office staff. No crime incidents have been experienced or rumored. Police are rarely ever seen on site actively handling an incident, only a couple times over 8 years. Brick construction is much more tornado resistant.

Management is horrible here and they make all processes difficult!
Worst place to live, horrible management. Let me save you the headache! Look elsewhere, they will make you feel like you are in jail in your own apartment.
I had a great experience at Stonebridge. Management was kind and I never had issues of any kind. Move out was good and I was able to get my deposit back. People always says you never get it back but if you take good care of your apartment throughout your time and clean throughly, you’ll be fine. My advice to anyone is to treat your place of living with care and courtesy just as you would want a guest to treat it. Overall, Ide recommended Stonebridge to anyone who loves a quiet, peaceful and well managed place of living.
I wouldn’t recommend even viewing an apartment. They don’t show you a copy of the lease before the deposit... won’t give you any of the information that you requested before paying a deposit and then if you pay the deposit and they then provide that information and decide to back out they WILL NOT provide you your deposit back! The only thing that they will tell you is once your deposit is paid we will provide all that information. When I attempted to bring that up when requesting our deposit back they stated “well we would’ve if it would’ve been requested” when you drop off your deposit they do not state “this is non refundable unless the lease is fulfilled”. This company overall is just not worth your time and MOST DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY! If you want to be locked in for a year apply put a deposit down but the second you pay that deposit there is no getting it back... and if you want to move our early after providing a 2 month notice they still require you to pay the remainder of the lease so that could be upwards of $10,000plus that’s insane! They are just out to get money and do not care about there current or future tenants! We thankfully have only lost out on $1,000 total but it’s still ridiculous and improper on how they operate the business. I have requested a call from the manager themselves because I have complains about Karen also and instead of them calling me they had Karen send a email. I’m sure that they get commission on every deposit as well as every unit rented. This is not a place I would recommend what so ever yes it’s nice and big but NOT WORTH LOOKING AT!
This is my 2nd time living here. I have been very happy with both leases. The apartments still look brand new. I don’t find the cleaning list intimidating, as it’s the reason why they still look so new. My maintenance issues, though few & far between, have always been quickly taken care of. Karen is always extremely helpful & makes expectations very clear. Sad I’m moving out of state, otherwise, I’d be renewing for another year.
I’ve lived at Stonebridge twice, and both times were great. These are clean, basic apartments with great open floor plans. Great location with access to 265 and brand new Kroger right across 10th street. Like most apartments, you can hear everything your neighbor does above a normal speaking volume. Fantastic price for the square footage. As long as you follow move out procedures, you’ll get your deposit back.
Save your money. Management is absolutely terrible here. Or I should say the manager as she appears to be the only person on the office staff, which is a problem because it takes accountability out of the mix. Aside from the poor selection of amenities, they don't do a very good job with upkeep around this place. They don't enforce pet rules, so walking through the grass is like walking through a field of landmines with all of the droppings you have to avoid. Although, I cant blame the residents too much as there are no pet receptacles anywhere on the property and only one compactor for the whole site. Also, I think they mow the grass once every two months. Kinda frustrating when you have small dogs. Move-out procedures are horribly inefficient and do not favor residents in any way. They dont do closing walk-throughs and wont even tell you what they found till weeks after, which makes me wonder whats to stop them from charging for something that happened after the keys were turned in? They took a ridiculous amount of our deposit back and we have made multiple attempts to contact the owner about it, but they refuse to comply and instead insist we meet in person to discuss. Well, the thing is we had already HAD a meeting with her to argue some of the things we were going to charge for and they still charged us. This is NOT a reasonable customer friendly environment and you will feel miserable if you stay here. They clearly don't care about the well being of their tenants, only about increasing their profit. They will write in ridiculous lines in their lease that you won't notice because no one else requires such unfair policies and so when you try to fight it in the end, it'll be pointless because their lease backs them up. We got screwed by this complex and I want to make sure others don't suffer the same fate. An apartment should feel like a home - and this place did not. We regret living here for two years.
Awful place to live. Don't rent here. Their management cares only about their property and will make your living experience horrible. You'll get a hundred harassing e-mails about their rules, but they don't do anything to enforce some of the more important rules. They treat you very poorly when you do complain about something, and the maintenance staff are all jerks. I'm glad we moved out. Huge weight off of our shoulders.
