Property Ratings at Stonebridge Manor
There’s apartments have no insulation and in the summer time I’ve seen it as high as 83 degrees in the apartment with the a/c on full blast all ceiling fans on and with tower fans that I bought myself. Just last night (6/11/23) I got home from work at 11:15pm and it was 78 degrees in the apartment. I don’t use blankets to sleep at this time of the year and I hope ur neighbors are nice and respectful because the ones I have right now are very loud and I hear almost everything that goes on because again no insulation. Also there was a big mouse problem here when I moved in I saw mouse droppings everywhere in the lower level cabinets and I told the front office about it many times and to have a exterminator come in which one never did. I had to take matters into my own hands with poison taps and little by little I started seeing droppings less but they are still their occasionally. This place is not for the light hearted. If your going to live here I hope you have experienced struggle in your life because only then it may not seem so bad. This is a very honest review. I’m not angry with the front office or complex I’m just upset so I’d personally say I’m not biased when I say these things.
This complex charged each apartment $50 for an update to the gate system that utilized a remote instead of the swipe card we were originally issued. (The cards we still have that are now useless as they have been deactivated.) This was not included as any part of the leasing agreement nor was an addendum signed, however, it posted to our account as a mandatory charge. When the ownership was contacted to complain, they had the apartment complex call to make the threat of eviction if we did not pay the $50 we did not reasonably owe. We did not even get the courtesy of an email back from management. In addition to this, the first week of our lease our apartment had no air conditioning during a heat advisory. We had to go in and complain at least four times before it was actually fixed and could not actually live in the apartment at this time for health concerns related to the heat. When asked if we could get that week knocked off the rent as we could not live there, it was recommended we take it up with our rental insurance. Do not live here if you expect any kind of reasonable respect or decency from your landlords. Do not live here if you don't want to be randomly charged without written agreement to said charge. Maybe just don't live here.
This is the absolute worst place to live!!!!! Their units are infested with roaches and other bugs!!! The property manager is the rudest person I have ever met. The AC doesn’t work and everything is broken!!! And you won’t get any response from maintenance. I was forced to give one star.
Counting the months until my lease is up. Only move here if your so low maintenance that you are not there and absolutely care about nothing in your home. I had a commode overflow to the dinning room, so now i just have this big ugly water stain spot in my dining room, that looks like it may cave in. DO NOT EXPECT MAINTENANCE TO FIX ANYTHING, unless is Months Later after you put in the request, even if it’s a leaking sink that may cause even more problems. The front desk acts like they are concerned about getting things done, but it never happens. 7 months left, is Wayy to long, but after I’m gone I’m never returning
Do not recommend at all! I have lived here for 9 months and it has been nothing but chaos! First apartment had mold and mushrooms. After fussing with the manager Maria for weeks, I was finally transferred to another apartment but at my own moving expense! Apartment I transferred to is roach infested, toilets don't properly work, and on Monday the water heater bursts with water literally shooting from the bathroom wall and flooded 50%of my apartment. It took maintenance 3 hours to show up and all they did was dry the floor. The entire master bedroom flooded and Maria only sent a carpet cleaning company out to dry the carpet. With over 2 inches of water on carpet, it needs to be removed not cleaned! Now my apartment has a horrible odor and furthermore the leasing office will not answer the phone. Very unprofessional, and uninhabitable property. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm left with a smelly apartment, damaged furniture, roaches, and an apartment complex who is avoiding my calls.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, unless you don’t mind being hot. My a/c gets as high as 85 degrees & as low as 75. The “maintance staff” doesn’t know how to fix anything. The office staff is very rude and they don’t care about you, they just want the money. Also our hot water heater leaked all over the ceiling & they won’t let us switch apartments without paying $500. Just pick somewhere else to live, you’ll be much happier.
Do not move here you will regret it! I’ve been here 6 months and every month there has been huge roaches everywhere inside of the apt! All management does is send pest control however, it doesn’t make a difference because the roaches obviously live in the walls. These Apts are very old and outdated. I was shown a nicer unit on my visit here but when it was time to move in the unit I have is nothing compared to the showing model ! There is drywall throughout the whole apartment, cracks in the walls and ceilings. This place should be called roach bridge because the living conditions here are unhealthy. I will be moving very soon this has been the worse moving decision I’ve made .
As a military family, sometimes it is difficult to choose an area to live off base. Friends suggested here and we could not be more thrilled. The apartments are clean and spacious. The clubhouse is awesome and even have movies or books to borrow. The pool is amazing and open generous hours during the season and even has a drink machine as well as a snack machine. The office and maintenance people are friendly and know their residents by name. I would say that their rent is totally reasonable for what you get ... A gated and safe community that is really like our own little community. The grilling area is fabulous and always picked up. It is on the bus line. It is also so peaceful here. Words just don't convey how glad we are to call this home
The worst place ever! Rats will eat you out of a house a home. Maintenance sucks! Gym always broken. Gate always broken. Pool always dirty. Older appliances. Cheap fixtures and flooring. Rent way too high. What a price gouge!
I have talked to the current manager who is arrogant and absolutely rude. I have been reporting security issues, broken boards, people jumping through the weakened wall and she completely blasted me off. She has an attitude and completely incompetent. The worst manager since I checked in here for the last 2yrs
Rent is ridiculous high, the pool is ok would be great if people who didn't live there come an go as they please. Rooms are small so no king size bed. Parking sucks as well.. very tight spaces.
