Property Ratings at Stonecreek Apartments
The apartment complex has significant potential, particularly with the recent modernization of the units. The pest situation is manageable if provided residents maintain cleanliness in their individual spaces. However the property is in need of more robust maintenance efforts. A stronger and more proactive maintenance team could greatly enhance the overall quality of the complex. One of the primary concerns is the accumulation of trash behind the buildings, with some residents disposing of items by throwing them off their balconies into the surrounding area. This behavior, along with the broad acceptance of tenants, has contributed to a decline in the neighborhood’s overall standards. It seems like the apartment management is just okay with the apartments being trashy. While the complex has promising aspects, it requires significantly more attention from management and maintenance to reach its full potential

I didn't want to give them any stars but had to give one to write this review. I moved in Oct. 18, 2023 and ready to head back to Akron already. When I first viewed these apartments they showed me one that was already renovated but when I moved in it was a whole different story. I have no electric in both bedrooms, I have to use a flashlight. The floor is uneven, it feels like I am going to go through the floor. They were going to replace the tile in the bathtub because it broken and nasty. I was told I could use bleach to clean it but I should not have to do that because I just moved in. There is no oven hood just the wire hanging out of the wall. In one of the bedroom the window is stuck open. I have tried to close it but it won't bulge. I have a sheet in it to keep the flys out. The dishwasher was never hooked up, it's just there. I have asked over and over for maintenance to come out there and they send no one. I was told that they will send someone out to redo the flooring but that has yet happened. It is almost Christmas and I was going to have my family done but for what. It is time for me move. Don't rent here.

-10 Stars Not only is this place infested with every kind of bug imaginable, the property manager has a stick up her hind end. The laundry rooms have been inoperable, mold growing in the buildings, people let their dogs poo all over their property without even cleaning it up. Always posting letters to replace the blinds but won't do maintenance on anything. You can't ever get ahold of anybody when you need them. It's more than a mile away from the nearest COTA bus line. Immigrants throw their trash all over the place and we are threatened with being charged for their trash. When you place a work order and they will tell you that it will be done but they just don't do it. Had to call the health department several times to get anything done. If you fall behind on rent at all they will put an eviction notice on your door first without even trying to get ahold of you. Always get a receipt for everything that you pay because they won't tell you what your balance is and will tack on charges all willy-nilly. Your driveway it is even a proper driveway. You can only go in and out through one side... it's like the other side was only meant for people or motorcycles. Lots of drug activity in this area. Zoom in and out so fast that children can't even play outside safely. Seriously don't come here you have been warned.
This place is the worse. I can't wait for my lease to be up. They are infested with roaches. I've had maintenance in my apartment several times to fix my air conditioning unit, still hasn't been done. Mold on the windows, I had to treat it myself, multiple times. I NEVER had bugs until I move there. This place needs to be shut down. I will give them negative 5 stars.
These apartments are Great! management really cares about the residents and the maintenance is there when things go wrong. (unlike other places) The apartments are really cute and each one has a balcony. I'm so glad I found these. I will not leave until I buy a house.
