Property Ratings at Stonecreek Club Apartments
If you call and you are transferred to somewhere else maybe a call center, they treat you VERY RUDE! They even yell at you! Sometimes they don't even allow you to stay on the line to give the feedback and they just want you to hang up first to avoid the negative feedback. TERRIBLE!
If I could leave half a star or zero stars, I would, but unfortunately I cannot. With that being said, I would strongly advise to stay away from this apartment complex. Stonecreek or "Aimco" will consistently nickel and dime you for everything that they can. My fiancé and I have lived here for 15 months and when we went to sign a new lease to stay here, they were no incentives and they actually charged us more per month for rent along with raised dog rent. You think an apartment complex would try and retain their current tenants? No, they would rather rip someone else off and get more money in their pockets. Now onto the next point; management will not work with accommodating your needs AT ALL. We wanted to get a bigger apartment since we are in a 1 bed/1 bath now, we asked to go to a 2 bed / 2 bath and they had the decency to request a $700 transfer fee TO THE SAME COMPLEX to a unit that is currently sitting with no tenants at all. They would be getting more money per month in their pockets with leasing a larger unit, but they would rather nickel and dime you to get the extra couple dollars. Third point; you can never call them and get ahold of them. I have had a couple of pressing issues that needed to be resolved in a timely manner with the office, but every time I called, no one would answer. I left 3 voicemails and still had no response. I had to end up taking off work early just to get back to the leasing office in time so I could speak to someone in person. They have no concerns besides their personal schedule. They will never work 1 second past 6pm. I could continue to go on and on, but don't want to ruin their horrible rating even more. Should've raised alarms when we first moved in how poorly they were rated. Think about it; why do you think they have so many units available? NO ONE WANTS TO LIVE HERE.

The staff is incompetent. Absolutely no communication whatsoever. Completely forgetful, property manager got replaced during my time there and somehow the communication got worse. Since somehow they processed my 60 day notice after the fact they were going to were going to charge us numerous fees and corporate had to get involved, had to contact office 5 times, twice over the phone and three times in person JUST to even discuss the issue and remind them multiple times that they fees didn’t go away online even though they reassured me that it’s been taken care of. Lovely waste of my time. This is another communication point, we had a large piece of digging/construction equipment literally plopped outside my patio for a week or so, no communication there were to be any projects or how long it would be there and it just sat there during the raining season, so mud/flooding everywhere. There is a mandatory post service (Luxer One) where you have to load in your credit card and if can’t pick up your package within a few days you’ll get hit with a fee. We also heard the staff mocking residents to the postman in the mailroom about why people are up in arms about this. We had an infestation of spider crickets in our patio storage area in the summer, called for pest control, didn’t tell us they came twice and claimed that it’s been resolved. Then every week until December we kept finding one spider cricket in the unit. Wall are thin, luckily I didn’t live near the fire department section, but enough to hear our loud and disruptive neighbors. Do enjoy hot water? Yeah not anymore, hot water will be used up during prime hours, early morning before work or in the evening. Your best luck will be around 2pm I found. Oh and by the way, when you move out, they will charge you with a $125 cleaning fee but hey, they are kind enough they let you hire your own cleaning person if you happen to find someone cheaper, but you need to show proof of a invoice - you can’t just simply clean yourself. So moral of the story, I will never be renting from an AIMCO property ever again.
