Property Ratings at Stonegate Apartments
I lived at Stonegate for 4 years and loved it. It's a haven just outside the city with great views of the flatirons. Minutes away from good food and necessities. It's quite, safe, clean, and peaceful. There is an awesome trail out back and amazing views everyday. It's a non-smoking property so that's a big plus. There's a good sense of community as well. The staff here are really outstanding. They are friendly, professional, and courteous about all manners of business. The maintenance team is prompt and always give a wave. Kim, Katrina, Theresa, and Jayden are so great to work with and go the extra mile. Treat them well, future residents!
At first it started out great. But because mine has a attached garage everyone has a motorcycle and revs them to annoyance. This place has extremely high wind so you'll hear your place howl and taking out the dogs makes it extra cold. There are no side walks connecting to the other side so unless you want to be on road to get across that is your choice. Biggest problem I'm having is my heater. I have called multiple times on it when it was running hot water from cold and also where my heater stops working. I have had my floor leak water several times. my dishwasher clogged a few times. At moment I don't know if it's Maintenance that needs more training or these apartments have such low quality to the point I wonder how they can charge so much. if I were you I would recommend at bottom of Hill.
Counters are spray painted, cabinets old, appliance are old. Rent was expensive for such an old apartment. Management is terrible. We had rattlesnakes constantly in our grass and walkways. Extremely windy to were we could feel our building move. Look somewhere else to rent.

It’s a gorgeous place and competitively priced for the area. However, if a non-smoking property is important to you, keep looking. Since the new management company took over, I have seen a steady increase in smoking. Staff even will drive their golf carts to the corners of the property and smoke; this certainly sends a message about how serious the property is about this being a non-smoking property. Given that I have significant lung disease and live closer to the edge of the property this is troubling given the property is advertised as non-smoking. Even leaving the property to walk a dog will surely involve inhaling cigarette smoke. Other than that, the property is relatively quiet and fairly well maintained albeit they could stand to replace cracked concrete stairs BEFORE they break rather than only replacing after they are partially broken. Overall though, for apartment living a pretty decent place to live.
They didn't send me a bill for rent. When it was late I got a courtesy call saying it was late and I have to pay $75. A courtesy or reminder is done before something is due, not after. This information was given to me. Amidst a long welcome letter of information.
I recently moved to Stonegate Apartments in Broomfield from another apartment complex in the area, and I am so glad I did! The views are amazing (I can see the mountains from my living room, dining, and bedroom windows), management and maintenance are very responsive, and the apartment itself is beautiful. My apartment was recently renovated and I am very pleased. Some of the reasons I moved from my previous apartment were: no sound proofing between apartments, a lack of storage, no garage options available, and charging too high a rent for the quality of the apartment. So far, at Stonegate, I have heard very little from my neighbors. As a previous poster mentioned, there have been 1 or 2 windy nights but that is when the temperatures are changing drastically like they do at times in Colorado. I don't think you can get away from those winds no matter where you live in the area. I have been very pleased to find this apartment complex is very quiet at night, and I have heard no noise from neighboring apartments keeping me awake. The storage is amazing! There are very generous coat, pantry, and linen closets, and a HUGE walk in closet in the bedroom. There is also a storage area near the washer/dryer. I was also able to get garage parking--no more sweeping snow off my car before work! I am actually paying more rent than I was at my previous apartment, but it is completely worth it as I feel I am getting the expected quality in return.

I am loving it here! When there was a leak in my living room window maintenance had roofers out the next day to repair the issue, office staff responded quickly to a noise complaint, and it is so quiet out here that it is almost unbelievable. I am very happy to call this place home and I look forward to staying here a good long while.
Stonegate is great! I've lived in Colorado my whole life and I still am in awe of the view of the flatirons from here! The pool and gym and great. It's very quiet. It's only 5 minutes from Flatirons Mall, 15 minutes from CU Campus. I love that there's a washer and dryer in my unit. Oh and they're dog friendly! My pup is very happy here, bonus there's dogs to pet everywhere:) I would definitely recommend Stonegate!
Stonegate is in a great location for your commute to Boulder and even better commuting to Interlocken Loop. There is a grocery store, a Walmart, multiple restaurants, a shopping mall and much more within 5 miles of the complex. There are also many other apartments available in the area but Stonegate is distant from other buildings/shopping centers creating beautiful views of the mountains and Denver. The views come at a cost though; the wind is always intense and can drive up your heating bill if your apartment faces outward. The interior of the apartments are very plain with modern appliances. Includes washer/dryer, oven/stove, microwave and dishwasher. The buildings seem well built, it doesn't have those "paper thin" walls I've seen (and heard) in other places. There's are a few great maintenance men around all day and respond to issues within a day or two. There is always plenty of parking and garages available with private a entrance to your apartment. Stonegate has a lovely pool area fenced in, surrounded by trees and shrubs to create some privacy. Theres also a hot tub, grilling area, community gardens plots and a small gym. The rent, although high is average for the area. Stonegate is very dog friends and will be a non-smoking campus by 2016.
If you're looking to get out of town, this apartment complex may come across your search. It's possible to get a good view of the mountains if you're lucky enough to get an apartment on the west side of the complex, otherwise it's not that great. The apartments sit in a valley low and make it tough to see the mountains, don't be fooled when the sales associates tell you that you'll be able to see the flatirons. Also, ONLY move here if you love the wind... it never stops, and is strong enough to shake the buildings hard enough to wake you up in the night. Lastly, this complex has LOTS of rattlesnakes, so if you have pets, beware. As for the apartments themselves, again, not good. The carpet in this apartment is disgusting and should have been replaced before I moved in. The tile in the kitchen is always pulling up, and the glue they continue to use doesn't seem to keep the tile down, so annoying. Bottom line, keep looking. This place is not good for what you'll pay.
