Property Ratings at Stonegate
The apartments are advertised at one rate. When you go sign the lease, you will notice they add 300 in fees(trash, administrative, rent collection, pest control, etc). When you go to renew, they will add another 150 to 200 to your rent. Tenants move in these apartments and quickly move out when their lease is up.
I’ve called multiple times on several different days and received no answer. I‘be tried to schedule a tour on multiple different days but they were booked. I was able to schedule a tour (through their website) for a Saturday at 3:00 pm. I received multiple email and text confirmations. I received an email and text 2 hours before my appointment, confirming my appointment. I show up to the leasing office 10 minutes before my appointment and no one is there. The office was locked with lights off and a “closed” sign. I waited until 15 minutes after my appointment and no one showed. No one answered the phones. Very frustrating when trying to find an apartment and this happens. It looks like there are other reviews with very similar instances. 02/17/2024
I have lived here a minute and things have really gone downhill! Convenient location! Usually quiet during the day. However, this place can be such an eyesore when I’m walking my dog during the day. Animal poop everywhere. There has been a stalled car in front of the 300 building for at least 2 years. Tag expired, and car has literally been sitting there so long it has spider webs covering it. Despite the neighborhood regularly sending emails out threatening to move cars in such a state, nothing has happened. Im sure that’s probably inconvenient for those living in the building. The music coming from my neighbors in building 600 is so loud sometimes I can hear it through my walls! They’re usually nice about turning it down if asked. People leave their dogs unattended in their homes, and you can literally hear BARKING all night!! I’ve even (unfortunately) witnessed a shooting in the neighborhood—to which the neighborhood responded by sending out an email about locking our cars. HA!! Dumpster is always overflowing and COVERED in the biggest rats you have ever seen in your life! “Gated” community, but the gate hasn’t worked since 2020. 5 star reviews are fake! Many are from friends of the staff who work in neighboring communities. Residents were also asked to participate in “contest” to leave positive reviews for a discount on rent. Don’t believe the hype! They don’t give a rats tail about the condition of the neighborhood, nor resident satisfaction after they get you to sign that lease!
Loved the area, apartment, and price but the office employee was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked questions she either disregarded or walked away. When I asked for a floor plan she acted like it was a problem. If this is who we will have to deal with on a regular basis we will take our money elsewhere. 5/21/2023
As a long time resident, I can say my experience has mostly been enjoyable. There have been some issues, but things have been resolved. I hope things continue to improve here as well. The staff has been very friendly and helpful too. Maintenence has always been great.

Terrible potential tenant treatment. I called on Thursday morning (1/26/2023), to request an apartment tour for that afternoon, Friday morning, or the following Monday. I was advised that the only time they could show me an apartment unit was Friday afternoon at 130pm or 230pm. I expressed to the leasing agent that it was a slight inconvenience but i would make arrangements for the 130pm time slot. Stonegate sent me a couple of email and text reminders to confirm the Friday 130pm appointment. On Friday, 1/27/22 I drove 30 miles from my residence to view the apartment. I arrived at the complex 5 minutes early. No one was available for several minutes. After several more minutes, and without introducing herself a lady comes out and says "give me a few minutes." I assumed she was the leasing agent. After 20 more minutes a gentleman emerges from the back and advises me that "they are in a meeting" and its going to be a while before they can see me." I advise that Ive been waiting 20 + minutes and I will have to leave. He returns to tell the staff that Im leaving. Seconds later the gentleman tells me that their response is "ok" that I'm leaving. Wow! This was grossly discourteous, rude, and disrespectful of my time. No one apologized for the major inconvenience or gave a legitimate explanation for their embarrassing customer service. I would hate to be a tenant and have a maintenance issue that needs addressing and they have such a nonchalant attitude. I saw someone else write a similar review to mine on Yelp, so this is probably indicative of their professionalism.

Giant rats are running around the property! Thankfully I live in the second floor. If you live in a building near the front of the neighborhood you are impacted by this most! Rats can be seen at the mailbox, the POOL, the GRILL by the pool, the trash cans, etc. Not a trap in sight!!!!! Disgusting!

Stonegate is a beautiful, professionally staffed and operated property. I’ve had a wonderful experience with the office staff, as well as the maintenance team. They’re outstanding in their communication, support, and respond to inquiry’s. This is such a contrast to my previous experiences with renting. I recently toured this Apartment and Loved the staff. I was first impressed by the staff and then the space inside the apartment, to combat my commute issue Danielle mentioned to me that a Publix would be opening up near the apartments which was very helpful, I then looked at my commute differently as that eliminated a grocery stop on the way home, I could just go next door whenever I was free!
Fantastic location, Tennis court, dog park, car care area, club house, pool, Great management!! Been here almost a year, an I'm looking forward to renewing my lease..:-)
